I don't believe this soapy massage water drainage nonsense,  but I wish they would have similar contempt for the water consumption during Songkran, since I had to put up been involuntarily drenched during this festivity.

I'm pretty sure that geniuses who blame soap massages for sinking Bangkok shortly will invent water which is less wet and thus not depleting aquifers that fast

Several of the fancier Bangkok massage places have VIP rooms with large bathtubs or jacuzzis.  I've never tried but maybe they offer a soapy experience?  I don't really know.  Places with VIP rooms that I am aware of:  Prince, VCK & My Hero.
