DivineMadman Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Apologies if this was already posted, but Bangkok peeps FYI, the movie "Call Me By Your Name," which has been getting rave reviews, opens in Bangkok at House RCA on the 14th of December. https://www.facebook.com/houseRCA/ (Their Facebook page seems to have a bit more information than their website.) Guest oriapplepie Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Hello gorgeous and beautiful people~~~~~~~~~~~ I am going to visit BKK tomorrow for 5 days Is this film good? Cos I am a fan of the actors but I am afraid of crying my eyes out, quite sick of gay movies about angst, internalised homophobia or romance that always end with either one of the couple dead o_0 Quote
santosh108 Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Keep your eyes out for "God's Own Country". It's another great new gay movie playing in the US and Europe. Not sure where else. It is a happy version of "Brokeback Mountain. Looking forward to seeing "Call Me by Your Name" in NYC when I return in a few days! Quote

Guest phayao Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 I've seen "God's own country" this week. It's a nice film, rural gay themed, with happy ending. A bit slow, with too many closed ups. Very little dialogued. Very good perfomances. Full frontals and wild sex. I don't think it is going to be shown in Thailand or the USA without some scenes being censored. Quote
