Popular Post DivineMadman Posted November 9, 2017 Popular Post Posted November 9, 2017 Had a great massage at Nine Spa. http://ninemenspa.com It's boutique massage shop near Asoke. There are usually about 10 guys available who work there, but typical for shops like this, if you just walk in there might be only a few available (or you might have to wait a bit). The best way to go there is to book ahead. I found the shop very responsive and easy to work with with via Line. Line ID @NINESPA. They regularly posts pictures of who is currently working there, so it's easy to pick and reserve the guy you want. The facilities are nice -- a converted townhouse on a quiet side street just a few minutes walk from the chaos of Soi Cowboy. The map on the website is accurate, and it even has a picture of the front of the building, which is helpful. Around 8:00 there was no real traffic on the neighboring side sois. Easy for a taxi to navigate or moccy. Massage is on a very large massage table with face cutout. Stairs are involved, in case that matters. 700 for a 90 minute oil massage. Minimum tip is 1,000 baht. My massage was truly fantastic. It was a firm swedish/sports massage, not so much a Wat Pho stretchy massage. Special services were also great. I've had the same masseur many times before, and it's of course extra-nice when there's a bit of chemistry between client and masseur. Shower alone before, Masseur naked throughout massage. Shower together after, when I got a thorough and affectionate cleaning to get off all that massageoil -- reminded me of a young mahout washing a prized elephant. Sum up: --Probably not a shop for twink lovers, but for others very highly recommend. --If you don't want to pick based on photos, somewhat upscale boutique shops like Nine, Baantewa and Leo are not for you, but beware you might be missing something pretty good. ;} But that's ok. --Book ahead. --Nine Spa is up there in the same top-rated league as Baantewa and Leo Spa. fedssocr, Davidsteel99, stijntje and 6 others 9 Quote

jason1975 Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Great review, DivineMadman. Shall visit Nine Spa in December. Quote
Popular Post jason1975 Posted December 21, 2017 Popular Post Posted December 21, 2017 This afternoon, I went to Nine Spa massage as recommended by Divine Madman, our massage expert in this forum and after trying it, I agree with his assessement and rate Nine Spa as among the best in Bangkok. I added Nine Spa on my Line account in the morning. Within minutes, there was a reply. I wrote that i wanted a massage at 2pm. I received a series of photos of about 10 boys who are working today. I took my pick and confirmed my booking. The location is quite a walk from Asok BTS and Terminal 21 and I didn't want to get lost amidst the small lanes around there so I ordered a Grab car to take me from Raya hotel. The Grab app quoted 150 baht. Driver arrived within 2 minutes of my booking. But the horrendous Bangkok traffic jam meant that i only arrived at 2:15pm. At 2:05pm, there was a helpful message from Nine Spa asking if I was lost. I replied that I was stuck in jam. The place itself is situated in a residential area. Furnishings are quite basic. Definitely not as posh as Prince. A guy at reception greeted me and led me to room. There was a proper bed in room with en suite bathroom. The boy whom I had selected came in soon and introduced himself as Aek. He is smooth, muscular but medium built and had beautiful well-shaped cock. His massage strokes were strong but sensual at the same time. He knew the right spots to go for. There were some positions and strokes that i had never tried before but oh my, they felt so incredibly good! The 90 minute session passed by very quickly because of his superb skill. Around 70 minutes of massage was followed by 20 minutes of extras. He was very willing and open minded and had condoms ready but i was contented with just a hand job. I had come after all for the massage and i got them. Fee for 90 minutes of massage was 700 baht. Minimum tip of 1000 baht written in menu. I gave a tip of 1200 baht and would definitely go back again! Alexx, vinapu, TMax and 2 others 5 Quote
spoon Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 Thanks for the report, as massage enthusiast myself, there are a lot of places i havent been to in bkk. Also maybe a better idea is to take the train the the nearest station and then call for uber, to save your time stuck in the jam. Quote
pong Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Been there twice now, both times unannounced before and could be cared for in 30/40 mins. Choice out of 3-who clearly had worked shifts before. Place is quite nice, very well kept, looks Japanese in style/service. There Is a minus: as many visits are scheduled by full/half hour and there is just 1 shower/bath for 4 rooms-there can be very long waits for the shower-in my case once >15 mins, where you just sit and look. Both times got well-trained former barboys, both well used to special treatments, but a little bit too business-like for my ideas. Quote
DivineMadman Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 ? Maybe I've lucked out but in the times I've been there I've been in two different rooms and one had a private bath with shower and the other just a private shower. Never had to wait or leave the room. Quote
Andy2512 Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Thinking of trying them out as well. For me, it's the first time... Guys, what is the customary process of going to such spa? Either for a massage only or with extras? I gather that you're given an option to select the masseuse that you like via pictures - can the guy be changed if I wish after I arrive for whatever reason or is it expected of me to continue with the whole thing and be smarter next time? What info should I refer prior selection and what info do I receive by default? What is definitely a no-no in these cases? Any other tips for a first-timer would be much appreciated! Cheers! Quote
vinapu Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 just go and see what happens. you can change booked boy but both of you will feel a bit awkward if you book boy A and once inside you exclaim ", can I have boy B instead " Massage price and minimum tip will be about only default information you receive. Any special requirements - you need to ask, don't be shy , they saw and heard it all and more. as Thai boy say 'don't think too much ', just try it and you will like it. reader and Andy2512 2 Quote

I think it would be a bit of a waste to go to a place like this for a massage only. But of course that's up to you. The smaller shops where you pre-select from photos in person or via Line aren't going to have lots of guys there for you to chose from if for some reason you don't like the guy you picked. From their perspective you have sort of undercut their "please book ahead" rationale. And the guy that you booked ahead will of course be a little miffed. So I do not think that's the proper way to proceed. You can just message the shop and say you will would like to visit at whatever time and ask to have a selection of guys available. They likely will arrange to have a couple/few guys there no problem. And if they can't do that they will tell you. But specifically booking a guy and then saying "oh no I think I would like someone else" is a practice that I think you should avoid. If you want to book via photos it's no problem you can first ask who does what you want, or you can say you are interested in "X" does he do what you want. (The default is that virtually all guys will top, but often 60% (plus/minus) will be top only.) It might be better to go to one of the larger shops where you pick in person from a lineup and avoid the anxiety. This also gives you an opportunity for some easier back and forth with the manager about which guy does what. You can of course do that via Line, but it might be easier in person. The place where you might feel the least rushed would be The Prince. It's easy to go there. When you sit down they hand you a glass of water and you can just say you would like some time to relax before selecting. Then you can eye the eye-candy at your leisure and then call the manager and chat with him to make a selection confirming that the guy will do what you want. Also an advantage of Prince is that the minimum tip is full service, so no need to worry about that. All this is also true for VCK and My Hero. Personally, I think Prince is the least pressured or intimidating. But that is probably a very personal opinion. Arena is another choice but with the guys so much closer I find it a bit more intimidating to peruse at my leisure. Also the Soi Twilight shops might seem a bit awkward (but of course there's really no reason to worry). Arena and the Soi Twilight shops the "full service" tip price has to be negotiated with the guy. At the extreme end of don'ts -- don't wait until the massage is over and say "I didn't enjoy it/it wasn't good I don't want to pay" or something like that. This sort of thing actually happens. The gone and not forgotten shop Adonis had a simple rule that if you think it's not working in the first ten minutes then say so and they'll get you a replacement. That seems a fair rule to me to protect the interests of all concerned. Don't complain if the guy puts a condom on you to give you a blowjob. Let him know ahead of time if you have a particular concern or part that needs extra attention. Communication is key. One thing I have noted is that even though I have confirmed with the manager what I want when selecting the guy, the manager doesn't necessarily pass that information on to the masseur. So I usually reconfirm with him as we are walking to the massage room. Especially first experiences should be measured on their own. Not compared with fantasy. santosh108, vinapu, Andy2512 and 2 others 5 Quote

I've done this only once buy tipped the first guy 200 to eliminate any hard feelings. Andy2512 1 Quote

(The default is that virtually all guys will top, but often 60% (plus/minus) will be top only.) - alright, this bit is logical. I was planning on popping into the place and making a selection beforehand. I've been trying to get a hold of some of these places via Line and email already but the results are, let's say, marginal. This top/bottom stuff seems to be a hot topic. Let's assume that I go in to get massage and communicate to mamasan what are my wishes. Let's say he points to two guys and, for whatever reason, there is no click. I assume, based on your explanation that before really making a confirmed selection, I'd be free to negotiate which means that I could very well say "maybe next time" and just leave? I'm asking those questions because I don't want to insult or hurt anyone and at the same time still, well, get what I want. And Thailand has a completely different culture than my own. At the extreme end of don'ts -- don't wait until the massage is over and say "I didn't enjoy it/it wasn't good I don't want to pay" or something like that. This sort of thing actually happens. As Judge Judy says: don't eat whole stake and complain later it wasn't any good - I've got that impression from multiple forum post. Quote

trevlee904 Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 So do all guys at Nine Baantewa and Leo Spa massage you while naked? Quote
DivineMadman Posted August 25, 2018 Author Posted August 25, 2018 So do all guys at Nine Baantewa and Leo Spa massage you while naked? In my experience no. They start in underwear or briefs, but later those come off at some point during the massage or the fun stuff. If it's important to you, then the only way to make sure is to tell the manager what you want at the time you book the massage. Quote
