reader Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Volunteers are hitting the streets of Tokyo to clean up trash and spread the word about the latest trend in underwear: the loincloth. Not quite sure if they would pass muster with the board's authority on the subject. a447a Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 The fundoshi worn in the video is not the common one. Here is the sexy version worn by guys in Japanese festivals. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Men-Japanese-Traditional-Underwear-Rokushaku-Fundoshi-Sarashi-Fine-Cotton-WHT-/232075247898 See? ChristianPFC Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 he must be travelling to provinces since he did not visit us for almost a week... correct I had a brief look in the video, the underwear/loincloth and models (?) not enticing for me. Quote
Guest Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 There's enough butt cheek sticking out to make it look erotic, despite the unfortunate baggy shape. The cameraman has got some good angles, particularly at the end with the multi-coloured example walking down the street. Quote
reader Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 Based on comments, it appears there's three perspectives on loin cloths: aesthetic, function and comfort.Aesthetic -- compared to briefs (jockey) style, some of the loin cloths seem less revealing of what they cover (a common complaint made against boxers): Other loin cloths designs, however, are noticeably more revealing: Function -- loin cloths offer the wearer ease of movement and easy access to what they cover: Comfort -- since it's somewhat unlikely that more than a few readers have actually worn one, much is left to the imagination. Some enthusiasts claim it improves circulation. At the end of the video in the OP, the narrator observes: "some businessmen say that it even boosts performance in the workplace," although just what business they're engaged in wasn't mentioned. To assist in evaluating the comfort angle from afar, these candid photos may help stimulate the imagination: Hope this encourages more exploration. Who knows? It may even get Christian to reconsider his initial reaction. Alexx, KhorTose and vinapu 3 Quote

reader Posted October 8, 2017 Author Posted October 8, 2017 I doubt it , he considers everybody over 41.375 kg too fat He's one tough customer but perhaps the guy in second from last photo (short, bubble-but type, second from right) might pass his initial round of elimination process. He seems very much in the doable weight range. Alas, we cannot remotely measure skin temperature. Quote
ChristianPFC Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I doubt it , he considers everybody over 41.375 kg too fat Weight without hight is pointless. 55 kg and 165 cm is too fat, but 55 kg and 175 cm is perfect. Quote
vinapu Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Weight without hight is pointless. 55 kg and 165 cm is too fat, but 55 kg and 175 cm is perfect. I stay corrected although as we both know metrics for my consumption are very different, LOL Quote
reader Posted October 10, 2017 Author Posted October 10, 2017 Determined to find Christian potential loincloth candidate. He does so much for readers here and on his own site it's least I can do to show appreciation. ChristianPFC, santosh108, t0oL1 and 1 other 4 Quote
steveboy Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Good that fundoshi are worn by Japanese and not by Americans. Here in our obese society it would be a disaster. Even if the loincloth bring out little of the frontal attraction of these Japanese boys, the view of their seductive buns in motion is quite uplifting. vinapu 1 Quote
a447a Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 You can see the boys in all their fundoshi glory at various festivals held all over Japan through the year. The Naked Man Festival is probably the most famous, but you can even see them taking part in smaller festivals in downtown Tokyo. reader 1 Quote
