I be arriving in bkk next saturday morning I thinking do i book a taxi or book the bus to pattaya? Quick question can I ticket at the counter in airport or do i need to book ticket before

No need to book. Buses departure every hour at only about 130 baht. Plenty of taxis but they want 1100-1500 baht.

Please note that Buses departure every hour and sometimes every half hour if is needed .if there is the busses are full you will have to wait between hour or two for available seat.
