2 short stays in Bangkok

good to know Arena and Screwboys are doing well, those places seem always to deliver.

As for money requests - I guess boys decided there's no harm trying but in order to get a tip some kind of personal survey  needs to be performed by me - a hug , hand holding session , pat on the bum or checking if zipper works, whatever,  but I'd be reluctant to tip anybody just because he asked.

When business is slow, the mamasan of Super A is often at the junction trying to entice pedestrians to the bar.

I would imagine that's most of the time then ?     On my rare visits, there tends to be about 0~1 other customers in the bars on that soi.

An observation - not sure if it was a combination of rainy weather and low season or a sign of low customer numbers but there were requests for money at several venues.  At Hotmale Bar whilst sitting with my friend - one of the sprukers for the upstairs show came over and massaged  my back then asked for money "for food".  Also at Screwboys - once again sitting with my friend - one of the other boys sat down beside me and asked for a tip - he was part of the show but hadn't been on stage yet.

I noticed that as well. I recently made the mistake of sending 500 Baht online to a friend (no sex) when he asked me for money for food.

I might start buying bags of rice (500 g or 1 kg, so I can always carry one or two bags with me) and hand these out to everyone who asks for money for food. Or take bananas with me (must be a few days before ripe; the ripe will get damaged in my bag) and hand out bananas.

too much sacrifice due to weight, 100 baht note is much lighter
