TotallyOz Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Terrorism may not be the word they are using to describe the white supremacist rally this weekend and the driver who plowed into a group of peaceful protesters but why not? Why does this term not apply? America is going down the shitter with this president. He is a true disgrace. And, the words he used in the few years are what caused the state of affairs at the moment. vinapu and steveboy 2 Quote
steveboy Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I couldn't agree more. A driver who plows his car into a group of people has no humanity, or maybe only in his body. White supremacists don't fit the American image of terrorists, which is Muslims. Trump seems to think this way, and he may consider the supremacists as "patriots" who voted for him. In reality, he appeals to the American terrorists and other low-lives who are unable to think. The presidency and the GOP leaders who support this president are going down the toilet. But maybe not we American people increasingly waking up to the disaster that fell on us. Already the division of powers seems to be working and preventing the realization of a rightist dictatorship. Comics on TV have never made such overt fun of a president, and this is a good sign. TotallyOz and vinapu 2 Quote

I agree with both of you said above but we need to remember that while one person , even president can be ridiculed , millions who voted to him with hope can't. And split of nation right in half is a real fact not even unique to USA as UK, Poland , Venezuela and Brazil seem to be in the same situation those days. Sure , driver who drives car into mass people fits classic definition of mass terrorist in this case and should meet his fate according to whatever local laws are. I'm sure some of his victims are longing for a judge Lynch. Quote
