Popular Post spoon Posted July 30, 2017 Popular Post Posted July 30, 2017 After booking my impromptu flight ticket early july, im set to fly end of july and spend about 10 days exploring LoS. The initial plan were way different though. It went from going to luang prabang only, then some days before and after luang prabang spent in bangkok, then swapping luang prabang with Siem Reap, and lastly decided to just stay in Bangkok as a base and do a few quick trips around bangkok, and that is hua hin and kanchanaburi. 24th-26th in bangkok alone, and my straight friend arrived in bangkok on the 26th, 27th-28th in hua hin, 29th shopping day as my friend will go back on 30th, while i go on a day trip to kanchanaburi. The second part of the trip is still wide open (i am open to any suggestions), and ill be going back home on 3rd august. Anyone in bangkok and want to hang out one of these days are welcomed to pm me. Day of departure - 24th July Finally the day has come, not that i have to wait that long since i booked the flight ticket only two weeks before today lol. My flight are at night around 8pm and estimated to arrive in bkk around 9.30pm. My very cheap ticket doesn't include checked in luggage so i have to pack a bit light, not so light though, as i have enough clothes to last me at least 5 days, so maybe just 1 trip of laundry will do. My flight turned out to be on time, quite rare for airasia night flight, and i arrived in LoS at 9.30pm. I purchased my seat during checked in since the allocated seat were at the back, cost me usd 2.5 and it was the best decision ive made. I get a seat at row 6, window seat with no one in the middle seat. Having seatwd up front, i also get to get off board early and planted myselft near the shuttle bus door that take you from the plane to the immigration building. With just a slightly fast pace walking, i managed to arrive at DMK immigration counter with only 2 person in front of me. Right after that, went straight to get a taxi to my hotel, dusit thani in silom. Arrived in hotel @ 10pm, got to be some sort of record as my friend took nearly 2 hour to get to dusit on Wednesday, 2 days later. So after a quick freshen up at the hotel room, i headed out of hotel to the gay area of silom. My first visit of the night was jupiter 2018. As the bar is fairly new, and the drink charges are quite reasonable for a gogobar in bkk, thought ill give it a go. I can reconfirmed that the drink there is still 250thb. I believed we have a thread talking about the bar, their shows, and the stages. My impression was there were definitely some boys that i really like, and most of them are fit, to ripped muscular guy, but not bulky like the one in tawan. Since i arrived there slightly before 11pm, i get to see some of their shows. Pretty tame compared to tawan and maybe most of the other bars, and some boys are in their shorts/jeans and some even with shirt on. Cant recall their numbers but 44 is definitely a real looker with really well defined muscles, but sadly he was grabbed by another customer, though i do t really see him downstairs, so maybe he was grabbed upstairs. As the shows goes on more and more boys were offed/called to sit with customers. Their last shows were the shower show, 4 boys in the shower glass cubicles with lasers light flashing. Funny thing is, only one guy, the average body one that actually enjoys the shower like normal people do, while the other 3 were just too busy to perform properly because they are trying very hard to avoid the water from wetting their precious hair lol. Oh thai boys and their hair. 2 of them did exposed their dick with condom on. There is another guy that catches my eyes, due to his body, muscles in the right place but a bit older as u can see some cute sagging near the stomach. Face wise, not the best look out there but certainly offable in my book, but i took too long to decide and he was off right in front of me. Since none of the guys left on stage are my type, i quitely finished my drink and leave the place. Its already close to midnight, but im not done yet. Still horny for boys, i went to the familar tawan club. The shows has already finished, only 3 boys on stage and the rest were loitering around the back sofa like seals sunbathing on the rock lol. One guy on the stage i was recognized from my previous visit, very ripped body still, though a bit older but most tawan guy are older in general. I pay for my drink and after maybe 1 minutes or so, some guys are showing some interest to ask me to let them sit near me, and i politely refuse, and some of the other guy just jokingly laugh at tge guy's failed attempt lol. Like vinapu mentioned before, tawan guy are quite good at taking rejection lol. Anyway, i called the guy that i like on the stage to sit next to me, some conversation were exchanged and i quickly agree with his plea to take him for st. Off fee paid and off he goes to change to his street shirt. I asked him to wait until the bar closes at 12.30 so i can still chat with him while finishing my 400bath drink. As we go back to the hotel, i stopped at 7e to buy some necessities and off to the room. Dont want to spend too much details but the session was definitely great and last close to 2 hours. Jasper Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 My first visit of the night was jupiter 2018. 44 is definitely a real looker with really well defined muscles lol There is an another admirer among the forum members. His name is Song and he doesn't come in everyday. So when you see him at Jupiter you should grab him really fast. He sure has a very nice body. i went to the familar tawan club. the rest were loitering around the back sofa like seals sunbathing on the rock lol. Haha you couldn't have described better than this! Thanks for report. It's great to read about my favourite gogo bars. vinapu 1 Quote
vinapu Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Great report and even greater is the fact that you promised report of your trip and you kept your word. If you tell me whom you offed from Tawan I will tell you who another admirer of #44 from Jupiter is here. LOL Clearly on your first night you are taking the same route I'd take , Jupiter & Tawan in any order. Hope you had fun in Kanchanaburi today Quote
spoon Posted July 31, 2017 Author Posted July 31, 2017 Lol i dont remember his number, cant be bothered with that as there are no other customer there except me and i just wave and point and the guy come to me, but he is one of the bulkier, a bit short, and older guy and he was there when i went to tawan last trip too. He says he is about 34 and from issan. He kisses ( a big plus for me). I actually asked this in the bar, and he said he kiss a bit. If i went earlier, he might not be my first choice though, but late at 12, with most boys are already off, i guess he'll do. He doesnt want to shower together though, so i respect that. On that note, i dont see mehkin when i arrived at jupiter, my guess is he is already being offed that day or simply didnt come. It is monday night anyway, and the bar is a bit more than half filled Also, i dont recall making any promises on trip report lol but like many who write here, i believe that this is a good way to give something back to the forum. eurasian, vinapu and reader 3 Quote

It is monday night anyway, Mekhin might have gone to China with a regular customer as he seems to stay there often. If you look for a particular boy at Jupiter, it's a good idea to check with mamasan TI who handles boys schedules. I consulted him once about a boy's next working day and he gave me correct information whereas at Tawan none of the captains don't have exact information about boys schedules. There is a group LINE ID where Jupiter boys communicate each other on each working evenings before turning up at work informing who is coming in or not. Mamasan TI is very strict on boys punctuality. Popular Post spoon Posted July 31, 2017 Author Popular Post Posted July 31, 2017 mae klong train market visit 25th july While waiting for the nightly visit to the gogobars today, might as well get the second day trip report done. I slept very soundly after my ST left at about 2am. Woke up at about 7 or so and got up and shower, and ready to head out for maeklong visit. Ive been reading several ways to go there, easiest would be a taxi or tour, or by minivan, and also by train. My initial plan was to take the train, which would be departing from wongwian yai railway station, which is about 20min walk from the bts of the same name. But first, i need to buy a sim card so i wont get totally lost or bored to death in mae klong. Train left at 8.35 and at 8am, i am still in silom, so i thought i can take the taxi, and then the taxi hit the traffic lol, asked the driver to drop me at the nearest bts station, and change my plan to take the minivan instead. Another quick search and it seems that i can take the van from either mochit or the southern station sai tai gao/sai tai mai. So i head to mochit bts and take a taxi from there to go to the mochit bus station. After abit of chat with the taxi driver, he said i need to take the van only at sai tai gao, which is quite far from mochit. I tried to insist but he was already halfway there. Thinking i was taken for a ride by the taxi driver, i surrender my fate and decided to trust the driver, nothing else i can do now, even if i asked him to drop me and change driver, who to say ill meet a good driver. So about 20 mins or so, i arrived at the southern minivan station and head to the counter, bought a ticket and go inside the minivan. Owh btw, i paid 120 baht for the taxi ride, so its not that bad, and he did bring me to the correct station. Minivan costed me 60thb, and inside the van there are only one other local guy inside. Waited only about 20mins or so and the van depart with only one extra passenger. Arrived at maeklong at noonish, and walked to the market. Its really easy to find, and i do have the local sim with data in case i needed to use google map. I enter the wet market first, a lot of seafood items, fresh and pickled, being sold here, as this city is a port city. After a bit of exploring, u foubd myself outside the road and in front of the station. Took some pictures and then walk a bit more around the station to get lunch. After lunch, it was close to 1pm, went to the station to check the time for the train to arrive and see that i needed to wait for 90mins before the train arrive from ban laem station. So i walked through the market along the track, and back, twice, and it only took 10-15 mins. Lol, no idea what else i can do around here, so i walked towards the other end of the station and saw the mae klong river, and as i turned right, saw a pier with ferry services to cross to the other side. I dont have much time though to explore the other side, so i just went to the pier, sit there, enjoying the view of people going in and out pf the boat, with a very windy breeze blowing to cool my head ad body down. Owh, did i forget to mention it was scorching hot here? I thought people say its raining season but i rarely experience them. Only very light drizzle from time to time. So as i wait very comfortably under the shade and wind, one particularly friendly guy, carrying some trashes and a bit loopy i think, approached me and start talking in thai to me. I smile politely and try to ignore him, and he keep staring at me. I finally say i dont speak thai with a smile and he laugh so hard and now trying to say 'i want to say' few times and laugh again. Now that i feel very uncomfortable, i walk out of my comfortable shades and went back to the oven hot maeklong station. Thankfully it is almost 2pm, and i am planning to go and find a good "seat" to view the incoming train and witness the seller setting up their shop to allow for the train to go through. I did get a great seat at one of the cute shop selling drinks and wait for the train. It is definitely a worthwhile experience to say the least, the train does goes super close to the market, i have videos and pictures of them, which ill share when im back home. Definitely one of a kind, and a perfect day trip destination, especially if u like train and markets. After the train reached the station, all the shops started to put down their goods and shades again, as if its there's no train track below them. The train departed for ban laem station at 3.30pm, so another hour of waiting if u want to take the train back (which i did) or you can just go back to the minivan station and went back to bangkok early. Since i did t get to ride the train going to mae klong, i decided to wait inside the train. Its super hot, i was sweating left and right, but i really want the window seat upfront lol. After a few mins of hell, they started to open the train fan and finally i can breath again. The train ticket is only 10 baht, yes super cheap, and i did take few more trains this trip, and love it. Only third class is available, which means opened window with fan, with hard plastic seats. I learned later on that some car in different routes have better cushioned seats for the same price. The train ride was equally exciting as the train goes through the market again and now i can view them from inside the train! The ride that follows are also quite eye opening, especially when you see those very small houses right next to the train track. It makes you appreciate all the little thing you have and how better off we are. By this time, my phone battery is completely drained, and i am now on the mercy of my brain and gut. Arriving at ban laem, another port city, i now need to find the ferry to cross the river to go to the next railway station, maha chai. It wasnt hard to find, just need to walk straight ahead and after about 20 min walking, passing some school, the ferry pier is on the left. Went in and take the 3 baht ferry to cross the river. On the other side, now need to walk across another markets selling a lot of things ive never seen, mostly a variety of aged seafood and fresh ones too. The train station is again of the left, not a big one, but quite hard to miss. The next train to bangkok arriving in less than an hour so i have time to browse the market and get a drink or two. At 5.35pm, the train to wongwian yai station depart and i arrived in bangkok close to 7pm. Another eye opening and a bit more rough train rides than the previous route. And as the train gets close to bangkok, a lot of locals were going in at out the train, as they use it to commute as well. I almost missed my station as i thought i havent reached the station yet, and only realize when the train started to move a bit in opposite direction lol. I asked the guy next to me is it wongwian yai station abd they guy nod, so i quickly get up and jump out of the slowly moving train. Phew. If only i still have my phone running so i can know exactly where i am all the time. Another task ahead was to find the bts station, which is another 20min walk. Good thing i still recall seeing the map in the morning, so using that i decided i needed to take a right turn from the station. After walking about 5min, i saw the bts train elevated train track, and walked towards the station. Arrived at my hotel at about 8pm, washed up and went to silom complex for dinner, and head to soi twilight. ChristianPFC, llz, Alexx and 6 others 9 Quote

And if there are, coming from Silom it would be a detour compare to Southern Bus Station. Old Southern Bus Station (Sai Tai Gao) is still there but abandoned. Yup, that is what i think too, and i was a bit mad, not at the driver, but rather at myself because i didnt decide to go to the sai tai gao minivan station (that is what people in other we sites called them lol, and also in google map but you are right, the van isnt mini at all lol) so yeah it is a detour. It wouldve been much quicker and cheaper to go there directly from silom. I am glad that i didnt act rashly and go with the flow, since at that point, even if i got played, i already decided that itll be part of the adventure lol. Popular Post spoon Posted August 2, 2017 Author Popular Post Posted August 2, 2017 Soi twilight first impression 25th July After dinner at Indian restaurant in Silom complex, i made my way to the silom twilight, crossing thanon thaniya, where all the straight bars located, but not as crowded as patpong with the night markets and lady gogobar fighting for space. I do see lady for hires lining up (or sitting in a line) in various location along the road, unlike the way massage lady/boys sitting just outside theri shop. Some touters were trying to catch my attention and i just politely raise my hand up and say no. Crossing the suriwong road and here i am, at the entrance of soi twilight. It is only 9pm, and it is still too early for the show. So i walked and see of i can get a seat at one of the bar. I see hot male front bar stools almost full, so i keep moving up the alley and see that maxis bar have comfy table and chair, and they are half empty. Took a seat right next to bangkok boy bar, with clear view Fresh boys stage from my seat, as well as bonny massage and bangkok massage boys loitering in front of their shop, chatting/eating and some busy fixated on their phone. Some of the massage boys have great body/face but a bit femme for my taste, while other look quite average, hopefully their massage skills made up what they lack in appearance, or maybe their appearance suits other people tastes. People watching from maxi's bar is definitely an interesting experience. I can definitely see some boys still making their way to their respective bars, especially dreamboys bar, and yes they are dreamy in my book. Sometimes boys from fresh boy stand near the door and look out and chat with the touter and ladyboy mamasan. At about 9.30 or so, an extravagant drag queen comes out from fresh boy and start trying to entice people to enter their bars. I also see some punters second guessing their decision on which bar they should go to, some enter the bars and then came out almost as quick. I also noticed that the touter dont bother to try and get the indians into their bars, they got ignored even when they enter the bars and usually came out as well. As it gets close to 10pm, i finished my drink and pay the bill, and make my way up the stairs to dreamboys. As i enter the bar, i can see that the bar is already hafl full, even though the show starts at 10.30. The cover charge is 480, boys drink 400 and off fee 650. Definitely high if we compare with other bars but i do believe they know their market well. As i have been reading this forum for quite a while now, i have some impression of this bar from fellow forumer, and it wasnt good. But as i sit in the bar, as always i chose my seat a bit behind, and see the boy parading the stage, i can see why. I can say around 80% of the boys on stage are a looker, some are drop dead gorgeous, like they just comes straight from a magazine. Body wise, more muscular but there are some average to slim guy here and there. Customers today are 90% guys, some farang, some asians from other countries but i rarely noticed any mainlad chinese lady that this bar are famous for. I guess this is a low season after all, but the boys on stage are in the 40-50 guys. So less customer, more boys to choose from. This night is going the be great As i start staring at all the eye candy, i noticed a few that catches my eyes and heart. One in particular, number 44 (yup different bar, same number) is definitely the best of the crowd there, in terms of look, and of course the body, muscular, ripped, big pecs, fair skin, a complete package. Another thing that i noticed, they are also similar to jupiter, in a way that the boys are not supposed to make contact/body language with customer unless they are summoned by mamasan and sit next to the customer. This particular realization is really what makes me make my move later on, since before i realize this, i still try to make eye contact with 44, and he looked without any smile/interest whatsoever, and i already think that i might not get his attention at all. But then, as i see all the other boy are also not smiling at all, but once they seat next to their customer, they are very friendly, smiling, laughing. So at 10.30, the show starts, there are a total of maybe 9 small shows spread out in between boy parades, which is similar to jupiter, and i actually like that they did this, but if you were bar hopping, u wont be able to catch all the shows and still see other shows from nearby bars. The show ended at about 12 or so. They start with some coyote dancing, then a dance show, some lady boy cat walk show, dance show, coyote again, ladyboy opera dancing with cbals and ribbons gymnastics, which is hillarious as they are coming out from their asses, and more coyote dancing after and there is a big cock show somewhere in between. I dont really pay much attention to the shows though, my eyes are still fixated at 44, and i told myself, i must get him tonight. While i still contemplating if i should off him, i noticed that other than boy parade, 44 doesnt do much of anything else, not even dancing. To most people, that would be a red flag. He dont dance, dont smile, dont try to get anyone attention, and each time in between parade, he would go to the gym area and workout facing the big mirror. From time to time, he would look at himself, and touching his hair. But dreamboys did install some lights at the gym and 44 always seems to work out under that light, mimicking a spot light on him lol. Well it works really well for me, my seat is quite close to the gym area, and i get full view of him working out with the stage blocking the view. Hence why i dont really pay attention on the stage, i was busy watching 44 working out all his muscles lol. I think by second show, i walked toward the toilet, which is located conveniently next to the gym, so i can get a close look at him, went to the bathroom to gather my courage and went out and give him a tip before i sat down. He definitely seems shocked that i suddenly gave him a tip, while the show on stage is still going on lol. Just after 2 mins or so, i called mamasan and tell him to call 44 to sit next to me. And it was the best decision ive ever made this trip. Small note: number 4 is actually considered bad luck by chinese culture, and 44 would spell super bad luck, most chinese in malaysia would avoid having or buying anything with this number, which include house number, addresses, even items priced with number 4. So in malaysia, u can see floor of a building with number 3 and 3a instead of 4, so does unit number. Obviously this believe doesnt transfer to the thai, or else u wouldnt see any money boy using this number. And it turns out for me, 44 is actually a lucky number after all, maybe not for my wallet but still lucky vinapu, paulsf, Alexx and 6 others 9 Quote
rollingstone Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 dusit thani in silom ... quite an expensive hotel ... did you get a good promotional deal? Stayed there a few times in the past but on company expenses. Nowadays trying to stay in ihg brands for the points and reward nights lol. Have not been to dream boys for some time. I started not going when they implemented a strict no-smoking policy years ago. But I might have gone into it anyway in the intervening years when barhopping. Used to offer a boy many times when dreamboy was still on the other side of Suriwong across Soi Twilight. Quote
spoon Posted August 2, 2017 Author Posted August 2, 2017 Yes it is quite cheap when i book at dusit thani, not so cheap that i can splurge the whole ten days there though but it is about usd 80 per night, on weekdays. Weekend rate goes up to usd 100, still cheaper than last year nov where i stay there 4 nights, which is affordable since half of my trip hotel to tokyo/osaka afterward was paid for lol I booked using expedia, apparently there is a sale going on for bangkok hotels, other website are still quite expensive. They still strictly enforced the no smoking no handphone usage when i was there, and since i dont smoke, it works pretty well for me. It is still expensive to just be there and have boy with you though, but some of us can afford that luxury more than once. rollingstone 1 Quote

vinapu Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 I agree that Maxi's is best people watching spot in the soi, particularly good for shy types who can pretend they are just having a meal / drink while in fact they are ogling boys undistirbed. A bit surprised by non-smiling Dreamboys policy , they used to smile a lot. Best way to ensure boy one is interested in smiles is to slip him a tip , just like you did. Than it makes easy to call him over as well. Farang can walk Thainya undisturbed as ladies there are interested in Japanese , perhaps other Asians too, only . Great report from soi Twilight ,I read it twice, thank you. Waiting for more !!! Quote

Popular Post spoon Posted August 2, 2017 Author Popular Post Posted August 2, 2017 Dreamboys part 2 25th july Forgive me for the lack of formatting, i am writting the whole report from my aged iphone 6, thus lack of pictures and simplistic formatting. Too bothersome to type in the full version of the web. I split today report to 2 part because i think first part is already too long and main reason was i wanted to go to arena for a massage lol. Now im back at hotel, had dinner and waiting for night time to arrive, i have time to write. Back to dreamboys, i am not sure if its really a policy, or the boys just decided not to smile at me and other customers lol, i do see 1 or 2 giving a very brief wai to some of their regular/previous customer. The mamasan i called before was just about to seat few more customers, and after settling their drink order, head straight to call 44 and he is now next to me, sitting in his underwear looking gorgeous as ever, a bit of sweat and slightly heavy breathing as he had just lift some weight when mamasan called him. This might sound prude, but i was blushing and felt very shy sitting next to this man. He is definitely someone that is out of reach for me in real life lol. Mamasan started asking if i want to buy the boy a drink and since i wanted him to stay with me longer i say yes, and the boy order an apple juice. We get to talking and the usual questions were asked like name, hometown, stay at what hotel, how long in bangkok. Its a bit loud with all the music but it gives me chances to get close to him to whisper in his ears. He is from the southern part of thailand, i didnt catch his hometown name at first, so he says near phuket. Later on i found out that he is from trang, a small town further south. As we continue the conversation, i find that we both have a lot in common. We are both in our 30s, he is 30, and im 32, we both have 4 siblings, one female, and maybe it doesnt really matter and a bit pretentious to say this, but same religion too. We both dont drink alcohol, dont smoke, dont like loud bar music, dont like dancing, like to sing (he actually perform in a restaurant/bar near where he live). At this point, i am pretty sure ill off this guy, actually i already decided to off him since i saw him when i enter the bar, but i wanted to get my expectation discussed first. I just asked if he would do long time with me, and got an answer he usually dont do long time, then asked me how many times ive been to dream boys, i said its my first time, he thinks for a bit and says ok to long time but he can only stay until 5am. Turns out he is working during the day, in marketing of a small company in bangkok. And he went to university and study marketing and public relation. That alone is enough for me to seal the deal. I called mamasan and pay the off fee. By this time the ladyboy show has just started, and it was funny and good show for me, and there is one customer sitting near the stage who is also hilarious as well. We both laugh at the scene. My off asked me if i wanted to go to hotel now, and asked if he can go change to his street cloth, i tell him since its my first time here, i wanted to stay and watch the show, he understood and we watched the show together and get to know more about each other. He asked about my trip plan, and whether ive been to any other bar. After a while he asked me again if he can get dressed but still stay with me until show ended because he felt cold. It is a bit chilly so i said ok and he left and come back within 5 mins or so. I did asked further on whether he kisses, he said a bit, good enough for me. And i jokingly asked if his dick is big, to which he answers not big (later i found out it is big and long too). And he says he is top, can fuck me. All good so far lol. And i also asked him which of the boys is his friends, good friends, people from same hometown, and he also said some boy that i pointed out only take boys. Seeing as i already off him, i believe what he says is true. And he does have that quality that most women love. After the show ended, we both get up and he wanted to say hi to his "friend" which is a previous customer who were a tad bit late to off him that night. He gives the friend a quick hug and off we go. The session was completely as expected and more. We were both pretty tired at the end, and what i respect is there is no rushing, and we only stop when i say so. Needless to say there are some stuff that needed some adjustments, as i am too shy to sat exactly what i want and he is trying to please me with minimum instruction from me lol. We did shower together before and after, another tick on my list! As i am really spent, both from the session and from the rather adventurous day trip to mae klong, not much activity happened after, just quick cuddle and then we both went to bed. At about 10 mins before 5am, he gently woke me up, i didnt even noticed him waking up, taking shower and got dressed. I woke up feeling very sleepy and half awake, he laugh seeing me feeling confused and says he need to go, its almost 5 am. I lazily woke up to get my wallet and pay him the discussed tip. He then kissed me in the lips and hugs me and says goodbye. And i am left in the room, feeling like i just woke up from the best dream ever. Still cant believe i just had this guy on my bed. And how he behave on stage are absolutely different when he sit next to me after i called mamasan, and from there it only gets better and better as the night went on. My friend arrival, a pause of my boy hunting 26th july I went back to sleep smiling and woke up much later at about 9 am, and saw my straight friend sent me a text saying she is already at the airport waiting for her flight to join me in bangkok. The rest of the day was mundane, i went out for brunch at 11.30, bought a great pad thai, cheap and the portion is big as well at pad thai saladang, quite close to dusit, behind silom complex alley. I even ordered another to go, and wait in hotel room for my friend to arrive. She finally arrived at the hotel at about 6pm, and after a short rest, we both go out to asiatique, taking the free shuttle boat from saphan thaksin. We walked around the shopping area for maybe 1 hour, eat dinner there as well and went back the same way. Funny things did happened when we were trying to get the shuttle back to sathorn pier. There is a huge line of people queueing for the free shuttle. When we arrived, we saw suddenly a group of people (look likes chinese tourists) were cutting queue. At first i thought it was a different line, so we when to that line, but turns out they were cutting queues so we then moved away from the line. There is this one lady, also chinese by the look of it, shouting very loudly to all those people who were cutting queues. And she didnt just shout, she actually went to them and start pulling. This went on for a while, until a guy, who seems like the one who handle the boat comes and the lady told him what happened and he just went back. During these debacle, we noticed that there is a paid boat line just in front of us that will also take us to sathorn for a measly amount of 30 thb, so we went ahead and pay the fee, and avoid the queue and the crazy lady. Our boat arrived just after a few minutes and off we go, and we saw the free shuttle boat just arrived and saw that crazy lady sprint ahead and keep shouting that the queue cutter. We both had a laugh on what just happened and when back to our separate hotel rooms and went to sleep. Tomorrow will be our trip to hua hin and we need to catch the train at 8.40am if we were going to get the airconditioned coach. vinapu, ct2005, paulsf and 12 others 15 Quote
bobsaigon Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 Spoon, thanks for your report. You say "i am not sure if its really a policy, or the boys just decided not to smile at me and other customers lol". I got an email last night from one of the Dream Boy capitans that might help explain the lack of smiles. The boss recently cut his salary from 13,500/month to 9,500, and for the past four days he didn't make any tip money. Quote
spoon Posted August 2, 2017 Author Posted August 2, 2017 Owh that is not good for these people. Now i feel sad for the captains and also the boys. It is true that there are significantly less customer around, and with the bar charges so high, one might just go to somewhere else like the new jupiter which is still packed when i was there. Quote
vinapu Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 feeling like i just woke up from the best dream ever. Still cant believe i just had this guy on my bed this is why we love Thailand, whatever her faults are country is still a place when one can really buy a dream. "I can't believe " that was exactly feeling quite a few of us had more than once after boys left or when we waked up next to boy still sleeping, looking at him with that ' It can't be truth" thought, getting hot in here, lol faranglaw and 1moRussian 2 Quote
vinapu Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 one might just go to somewhere else like the new jupiter which is still packed when i was there. considering difference in drink prices 250/480 and off fees 400/650 it doesn't come as surprise. Even cherished Chinese tour groups may learn that cheaper entertainment may be had somewhere else. Such a deep cut in salary bobsaigon mentioned may mean that bar is in trouble or owner doesn't care anymore or both or subtle hint ' you better find another job before I fire you " Quote
