Guest badabing87 Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Hey guys, My BF and I are going to Thailand for the first time in January. We are staying at the Royal Paradise Hotel in Patong and keen to check all out. We are both gay and in our late 20's. I've read most posts and hoping for some up to date info. We are keen on massages with a bit more, maybe taking a bar boy home etc. Could any of you good men tell us about acting appropriately and what what costs. Thanks heaps Quote
Boy69 Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Although Royal Paradise Hotel is located at the heart of the gay area the hotel itself is not very gay friendly for Thai guests in the room.the rate for short time is between 1000 to 2000 Baht. Compared to Pattaya and BKK the selection of the boys is very limited so don't expect to much there. Quote
bobsaigon Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 tell us about acting appropriately and what what costs. Could you be a little less vague? As Boy69 said, it's probably going to be 1,000 Baht for short time and 2,000 for overnight, and don't expect the Royal Paradise to welcome your bar boy with open arms. "Acting appropriately" ? That does need clarification. Quote
Guest badabing87 Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 I suppose I should replace the work appropriate with etiquette. Also, can you recommend a good massage place? That's crap about the paradises attitude towards Thai gay visitors... puts a speed bump on that idea. Quote
JimmyJoe Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 I was in Phuket last January. I had some great times at Naka massage and ended up taking one of their boys off for several days. He was great and well endowed. Always a plus, in my book. Otherwise, I found the bar scene pretty dismal, though much better than anything I could find in my home country... Would recommend one of the gay hotels in/near Paradise, not the Paradise Hotel itself, as others have said. https://www.phuket.net/directory/health-beauty/naka-massage-paradise-complex/ Quote

Guest badabing87 Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Thank you Vinapu. That is a good read! Have you got any idea of some good massage places in Patong? And the going rates? It's a shame about Royal Paradise' not liking visitors as we have already booked that hotel Quote
Londoner Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 There is a group of massage places in one of the sois leading to the Paradise.....I think the third as you walk from the Ceylon centre. There seem to be plenty of guys available in the afternoons and they can, in many cases, be viewed from the soi. I suggest you take a walk an have a look. I have had both good and bad (very bad) experiences and can't recommend any in particular. vinapu 1 Quote
Nathan_B Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 I was in Patong for a couple of nights in January, for the first time in several years. The number of venues in the Paradise Complex had declined noticeably, but I still had fun with one boy from My Way and one from Madame Tangmo's new bar, MO2 I think it was called. Short time 1000-1500. The beer bars and clubs (Zag and Boat Bar) are generally fun. There are massage venues in the small soi immediately behind (and parallel to) most of the gay venues; and also in the wide, central soi that leads to the Paradise hotel. Some of these are men only and some mixed. I have used Blue Dolphin in the past, though the choice of masseurs can vary a lot. I have also used one of the mixed venues who had a real stunning, straight muscular lad I was immediately in lust with. The massage was OK, if a bit distracting with a lot of Thai female giggling from an adjacent curtained cubicle, though non-sexual (no happy ending offered). I negotiated to take the lad off afterwards, which was a bit of a disaster - he was completely clueless as to what was expected, I guess it was his first time in that situation. vinapu and reader 2 Quote
vinapu Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 great report from Nathan and warning to all who will think that if somebody is masseur and a hunk at the some time he is immediately available for fun. once I offed guy from Arena, no problem with performance in the room and in the Arena previously but I noticed some apprehension initially -it turned out that it was his first time he went out with client and only fact that he was encouraged by other guys from there who knew me made him actually accepting my offer to be taken out. Boy69 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I left Patong 2 days ago , I agree The number of gay venues in the Paradise Complex had declined noticeably .have good time at ZAG but Boat Bar was very disappointed the show was a joke the whole place looks like a shabby garage. Because it is the low season now some venues were closed or not fully operated. However plenty of nice boys via the Grindr and Hornet . There are massage venues in the small soi parallel to the main gay soi and near Aquarius guesthouse the selction of the masseurs is vary sometimes there are very sexy boys and sometimes not . Quote
