What would be the best way to meet other gay farang friends in Pattaya?

We are a couple just moved here.

Go to Jomtien Complex and socialise. I have made many farang friends here.

There are some grumps but many people are happy to meet new friends

Welcome to the board, KitPattaya! :)

In addition to this one, you might want to cast your net wider and join the forum on gaybuttonthai.com.  They have more of a Pattaya focus and IMHO, a convivial, 'community'-feel that one may not necessarily find on the other boards.  I get the impression that a lot of them are friends in real life and I'm sure they'd be happy to expand their circle.  Good luck!

A good rule of thumb upon meeting new people in Pattaya is to ask yourself would you have anything to do with these people if you were back home!

I think one , whether tourist or relocating,  needs to compromise a little bit since at home usually we have much bigger choice of people we can hang on with.

When in new place sometimes we need to put up or even befriend people who wouldn't be our first choice at home , otherwise we risk being lonely from the start.

Just be nice to people. A person you might not at first consider to be your type of friend can turn into a good friend. I have met some amazing people that I never thought I would have so much fun with. I am leaving pattaya right now, waiting for the bus. I am back September 7th!

That's not always true.  When I was a child I had an imaginary friend.  He didn't like me . . .

Two Guys Guest House (2 sois east of Sunee Plaza) serves up a great breakfast and conversation. Many regulars show up for coffee and are easy to get to know as the place is small and conversations cannot be private so everyone seens to join in. The manager and owner are very congenial and a wealth of information.

Couldn't your imagination create a friend that was your best pal?
