steveboy Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 I read somewhere that fuck is the abbreviation of "fornication under the consent of the king", and in medieval times, married couples had a plate "fuck" hanging over their door (whereas unmarried people were not supposed to fornicate for religious and other reasons). LOL! And we still complain that we have restrictions in our lives! But wasn't the church the one who gave consent to fornicate by marrying people? And which were the other reasons that prevented fornication? Quote
