Guest buaseng Posted December 20, 2006 Share Posted December 20, 2006 NORWEGIAN NATIONAL ARRESTED IN CHILD SEX CASE [December 20, 2006 ] Earlier this year, in April, a 67-year-old, Norwegian, Mr.Gunnar Bjarne Uaulen, was reported to the police for having oral sex with a Thai minor, Mit (assumed name) aged 13. When the police attempted to find Mr. Uaulen, he had apparently fled the country, but the case remained on record. Mr. Uaulen subsequently returned to Pattaya in December and was arrested while he was nonchalantly walking along the road in front of Piamsook Apartments, off Pattaya Third Road. He was taken to the police station for interrogation. When confronted with the evidence, Mr. Uaulen confessed to having paid 500 Baht for oral sex earlier in the year with the Thai minor in question; although he denied having forced the boy, saying that it was a consensual act.
