Baht Bus Ban

I have just read in the online version of The Pattaya Mail that the latest effort by the Junta to destroy tourism in Pattaya has been a total ban on Baht Buses (Songthaews) from operating on Soi Buakhao.

I think that was announced some time ago, but my recollections from January was that it wasn't being fully enforced, although there seemed less of them that before - although thinking about it, it always seemed that way when you were waiting for one anyway LOL

Yes you stand waiting for the Baht Bus for what seems like an eternity - and then 3 arrive together - lol

I was in Soi Buakhow today and saw the baht buses running. I was at the Tony Gym trying to ward off the effects of a few beers last night in the Jomtien Complex. There was a big thunderstorm at about 2pm causing the usual flooded streets.

Thanks TD, I use the Baht bus along Soi Buakhao every day to get down to Soi Day and Night for my daily massage at SomJit with one of the boys from their lovely selection of twink masseurs. I hope you are having a great holiday.
