Guest JanFriday Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Can you guys tell me the pros and cons of getting someone from internet to come to my hotel to give me massage instead of me going to the massage shops? What has your experience been like? Quote
spoon Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Pros: u dont have to go out of room, no opening/closing time, u have all your own toiletries and private shower in your hotel, wide selection from the internet. Cons: no guarantee youll get a good massage, your bed will get oil on it, no fixed price, bed vs table massage can be pro or cons depends on your preference. In the shop, u have the manager that can help u find someone that fit your needs. Ive had tried both massage at hotel and center, but at hotel, itll be with masseurs that i already know before hand, usually through the massage center, and i just want more privacy in hotel room fedssocr 1 Quote
Popular Post DivineMadman Posted February 9, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 9, 2017 This is one where individual preferences and experiences will probably differ a lot. Here's my take on the pros and cons of getting someone to come to my room: Pros Easy, I guess - you don't have to leave your room Might be cheaper if it's a freelancer off of Hornet (but see cons below) Maybe just maybe the in-room guy won't be a clock-watcher, so time less of an issue. (At shop sometimes you'll go over the allotted time, but not too often. More likely the opposite) Cons If you're sourcing the masseur from one of the massage shops that offer outcall service, better chances the guy will be trained, but if you're getting him off of Hornet he may not be well-trained and massage really just means boom-boom. Out-call rates from the massage shops are often insanely high. I think Senso used to be 3.500 or something like that. (Not all are that expensive.) In-room service from some guy of Hornet is typically just normal money boy short-time rate, which can be negotiated. I think some massage shops require a deposit before sending someone out on an out-call. Personally I like the fun aspect of selecting from a lineup of 30 guys all trying to get my attention - only at the shops. Also I like to see the real thing as opposed to pictures. No one to complain to. The transaction is 100% agreed up front. When I'm done I can leave a massage shop. It's all in my control. TMax, floridarob, ChristianPFC and 2 others 5 Quote
emailbroken Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I think the consensus seems to be that for a first timer in room might not be the best option. Quote
ggobkk Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Agree with prior comments, just adding that you can find some one at a massage shop, if you like him, you can off him formally or informally for in an in-room visit. Vessey 1 Quote
Moses Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 In fact we should divide "regular massage shops" and "gay-massage shops" I. For regular massage shops: in shop: - prices are lower than for outcall massage, - you have some choice of masseurs in some shops, but in some shops you will get "next in line vacant masseur" and nobody will give you warranty even if it will be men , - some shops haven't showers at all, so may be you will walk to home oiled after massage - you will spend more time: to get to shop and after massage to get to home - 20-30 min aftermassage relax is necessary for right therapy but you haven't it in shop - usually massages are just behind curtains in common room - no personal climate-control in room: - own private room - own private shower - outcall is timesaver - you don't need to visit shop - it is more expensive than massage in shop (usually x 2-3) - you can have 20-30 min after-massage relax Short side-story about relaxation after massage (sorry for my limited English): at time of massage masseur stretching your muscles and "putting" bones to right position in places of connection. So after stretching of muscles and after moving of bones body need some time to adjust to new position and muscles need time to take regular length. That why you need time to lay 20-30 min after massage. Also after good massage usually ppl have signs of algidity/chill - if you have such signs that means your body takes a lot of energy for adjusting after massage and spends energy to it instead of normal warming itself. II. Gay-massage shops "for fun": in shop: - more wide choice of boys - higher prices than from freelancers - less privacy (communal shower, sometimes just massage cells in communal room) - some risk of thieving in room: - no warranty if your "masseur" know massage - more privacy - some risk of to be robbed if masseur is just from pick-up sites such as Romeo or Hornet - no middleman - so prices are cheaper than in gay-shops floridarob and ChristianPFC 2 Quote
Guest steve888sg Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Cons Whether hotel allow outside masseur. Hate that part of being question Quote
Moses Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Yes, in Pattaya some hotels charging for visitors 1000 baht Quote
vinapu Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Yes, in Pattaya some hotels charging for visitors 1000 baht then no shortage of hotels in Pattaya , avoid such hotels and take your business and pleasures somewhere else. Good point about need to relax after massage, it's why I always go for 1.5 hr course as opposite to 1 hr one and don't like places where I feel rushed floridarob 1 Quote
reader Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Have had 3 in-room massages (all in Bangkok and all arranged on line) and found one barely satisfactory and the other two less than satisfactory. In two cases is was simply lack of skill and in the third it was someone who had the idea that he should receive the massage. In all three it was buyer's regret. Having said that, I know others who have had generally good experiences. In addition to the cons mentioned above, the down side of in-room is if your bed is too comfortable, even a good masseur cannot do the job right because much of the motion is transferred through to the mattress. I like visiting different massage shops and selecting a masseur. You get to see masseurs in person. I generally avoid places where they want you to choose from a tablet. There are many good reviews in the forum by members who report first-hand experiences in Bangkok and Pattaya. You'll save time, money and frustration by benefiting from their experience. I'd recommend Arena or Banana Club as good places to start in BKK. Good luck! vinapu 1 Quote
forky123 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I've had a number of both types and it's really going to depend what you are looking for. 'Proper Massage' - Go to a massage shop, preferably not too close to any of the "Boyz Towns". You are much more likely to get a good massage than online. You may, or may not, still be able to get a happy ending or sex in a proper shop. I would normally say the massage is likely to be good and the sex bad but on my last trip to Pattaya I had a massage opposite "Boyz Town" that was supposed to be proper but was as sensual as you get and with one of the best happy endings I've had at a massage shop. Was almost better because I wasn't really expecting it when I went in Shop 'Sensual Massage' - you are going to physically see the boys before picking one. - you can interact with the boys which will give you a good idea if there is going to be any chemistry. If they engage your eyes and their smile is genuine, chances are you will enjoy the massage. - it's going to be more expensive. You are paying the shop fee and the tip and probably a tip on top. - HE/Sex is likely to be a bit of a lottery. - massage may be better, but that's not a given. - Facilities can be a lottery. Room 'Sensual Massage' - Hornet/Grindr/GR - You only have a picture. If you are very picky make sure they understand if they don't look like the picture you will send them away. - You are going to get to chat with them a bit if they speak some English or have a good translator. This can give you a good idea or could simply cause confusion. - They are going to know that massage is only a prelude to sex. If you want a decent massage first, make sure they know that. - A lot of the massage guys both in sex massage shops and normal ones are likely to be on these sites for extra cash. It may say in their profile or you may tell from the picture. - Facilities are going to be better and you have control of the environment and security. Lock everything in the safe when meeting someone for the first time. - you can pick a wider selection of times. - they know where you are staying !! I've had every combination of good/bad/indifferent massages and good/bad/indifferent sex. I kind of like the lazy option of finding a masseur on the social networks and having them come to my room. As a bottom predominantly it allows me comfortable time to prepare. fedssocr and Moses 2 Quote
Guest Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I've never paid a hotel in Pattaya anything for visitors. Just book one that does not charge extra. If I want a massage, I think it's just fine to have it in a massage shop. If I want sex, I have a hotel room for that. The only time I discussed offing a boy from a Pattaya massage shop, it was because of having to wait for a vacant room. The fee to the shop would have increased from 300 to 1000. I declined that option. Quote
Joeblack Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Well... some shops would allow you to go to bring the boy back to the room for the massage. What I would just do is choose the boy after viewing and ask the counter if I could have the massage in the room. Pay up. Give room details... And the therapist turns up at the room with extra towels and oil, etc. Most in this cases, the therapists would be more skilled then the "fun places" Quote

I don't necessarily agree with regard to facilities. If you just want a quick rub and then sex, sure. But personally I much prefer a proper massage table for my massages. I find that much more comfortable. And some massage shops have very nice rooms. Plus your sheets, towels, etc. won't get oily or "dirty" if you go to a shop. Quote
pong Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 re pricing: in fact I do not agree that shops charge more as individuals-this depends on shop and area. Those advertising as escort on PlanetRomeo all charge more as normal non-touristy places. Of course you can also scan from the members section and try your luck, grindr/hornet etc will likely offer the same. IF this is the first time at all for you, then start with going to a shop that offersmore and see/experience how the usual routine is. Quote

Being someone that has massages most days while in LOS, I have had a multitude of both shop based and room based off social media. I have never paid more for room based than shop based sensual massage (traditional is another thing but I'd never get that done in my room). In general, getting someone to your room has been considerably cheaper. As for standards, the best massages I've received have been shop based, but also the worst. The bed/massage table debate is a whole other issue. So many places you go to have the massage table with one side against a wall that a bed would be preferable as it would give the boy more room to move around you. I prefer a massage table if it has plenty of room but so much more important overall is the skill of the masseur. The best masseurs can use either. DivineMadman 1 Quote
NIrishGuy Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 One plus of in room - you can keep your valuables locked up in your own safe in the room as opposed to either leaving your wallet in your trousers while you shower ( crazy) or put it in their lockers ( also not much safer half times ! ) Also if things do get going sex wise you normally can have a far better fuck and on your terms than being stuck in a cubicle with perhaps only the one condom that the guy has brought in with him ( to restrict your fun opportunities and hurry you up and out) Quote
vinapu Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 perhaps only the one condom that the guy has brought in with him ( to restrict your fun opportunities and hurry you up and out) my advice to all-carry condom, tube of lube and small bottle of mouthwash with you everywhere you go including even going down for breakfast as one never knows who may be spotted on the way. ggobkk and reader 2 Quote
forky123 Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 My holidays are never wild enough that, if I saw a cute boy on my way to breakfast, I would bang him there and then requiring lube, condom and mouthwash rather than taking him back to my room where the supplies are stored. dellboy 1 Quote
NIrishGuy Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 You need to live a bit more Forky as what do you think those trolleys are for that house keeping use in the corridors, what you think they're to bring you fresh towels ? No, not a bit of it, they're actually to bring you fresh boys once you're spent with one and require another all WHILST on the walk down to breakfast ! My god man whats the point of going all the way to Thailand if you don't make the most out of your holiday eh ! Time you were up and at it ! vinapu 1 Quote
