It seems that there is a wide spread of tip size. My average is 1200 and 2000, but for the latter, which is more usual for me, the tip is only part of the cost for pleasure of a sex liaison with an Asian boy, which can include the off fee, drinks and presents for a longer time. It can't wait for my next trip in February/March when I will have the excitement of a few of them in my bed.

I suspect that the 'average' will be heavily predicated on where you took your boy from.  

 

I would expect to, and do, pay more from agogos than I would beer bars (and presumably the internet can be cheaper - although I haven't done that yet).

 

So, across the city, I would average between 1k and 2k for ST and between 2k and 3k for LT. - also giving the same for girls and LBs, although the prices asked in some of the LKMetro/Walking Street agogos for their showgirls are now eye-watering.

 

But I am open to adding incentives for good performance. Foe example my friend Vit from Toyboys asks for 1,500 for ST, but I top it up to 2k if he can successfully get me to cum - which, not surprisingly, he ensures that he does every-time LOL

I tend to pay more in the first few days of my trips when I go over the 2000 LT average I mention above, but not always. In November I offed LT a twinky boy from Cupidol for my first night. I'm versatile and like to be topped before sleep, but he couldn't get hard enough probably because he had done a ST earlier, despite watching porn on his phone and me sucking him. I know some bars in boyztown are trying to push st to 1500, but I could resist so far (but I could not resist making comments to staff or boy that I can get boys for 1000 in sunee, online or beer bars, in fact I make it a point telling them that I would be interested at 1000, but not at 1500). Nowadays I do long time only as an extension of short time, i.e. the short time was good and the boy shows no intention to leave, then I would tip 1200 to 1500 for lt.

 

What would be the justification for different rates in different venues? The different venue is already covered in different drink price and off-fee, once you step out of the bar, all boys are the same. There might be superstars in some bars who demand a higher tip than average, but if it already starts like that, I can see more trouble coming up ("I don't do this, I don't do that, and I have to leave in 10 minutes").

I like this approach as it  brings two benefits , possibility of reduced price and if boy is not interested , confirmation of his going rate.

Really? I'm of opinion that in bar all boys are the same and only when out they show or not their true colours.

Unfortunately often it is true but from my experience thankfully not always and lots of them stick to their side of bargain.

 

My last trip I started with such a case , high demand,  hard bargain but when deal sealed all perfect although  in the morning it was him who told me that appointment is over but at least it was at reasonable 7 a.m.

 

What works best in case when repeat is sought by the boy is to whisper why you not interested in this time / tell boy you too expensive , you left too early last time e.t.c/ may make a great turn around , been there , done that. May not work with everybody though as everything.

From a customer perspective, the only justification for higher drink & off costs is choice of boys.

 

If one bar has no boys I like, or if I have already tried both of them, it's time to try another bar.

Fresh Boys in Bangkok probably has more boys I like than Nature Boys, The Golden Cock & Super A put together.

 

Also, if it's my first night in Bangkok, after all the sunk costs of my flight & weeks of anticipation, I'm budgeting to visit a bar with cute boys.

Getting back to Pattaya, even in the Boyztown gogos, the prices are palatable, so I am prepared to patronise the Boyztown bars

After seeing the fine selection of lads in Cupidol, spending about 800 in drinks and an off fee compares well with Nice Boys ~700 & usually between 0 & 2 boys I might consider.

I mean I can't distinguish a boy from a gogo bar, a beer bar or from online when I see him in the street, and coming from a particular bar is no guaranty for performance. Although all (at least 4) boys I had from Screwboys over the course of 5 years were good, but I'm sure some day I will get a dud from there.

 

I mean a boy from Dreamboys looks the same like a boy from Super A in the street, I can't justify paying former 2000 and latter 1000, hence I don't go to Dreamboys.

Those of us in Thailand for just a few weeks a year might be less patient and more inclined to splash out on gogo boys.

Right now in Pattaya, if I want to find really cute twinks, the fastest and most reliable way is to walk to Cupidol (2 minutes) choose a boy and return to the hotel. Whilst I might save 800 baht on Gay Romeo, there is no guarantee I can track down anyone as handsome.

 

In about 10 days time, I shall be back home in the frozen wastelands of Northern Europe. As far as I know, nowhere in the entire continent could I see a selection of cute twinks on a stage in underwear. Getting cute Asians in bed there is an infrequent and expensive pastime.

 

So I'm happy to splash out a little (at Pattaya prices).
