Popular Post TotallyOz Posted October 17, 2016 Popular Post Posted October 17, 2016 First, let me say, I miss Hero. More than most would imagine. I've visited Hero at least 200 times over the years and love it. But, alas, things change and I must either change or never get a happy ending. I went to Prince Massage in the Sathorn area this week. It was easy to get to with Uber and the driver took me right there. Coming home, no Uber available so I used Grab Taxi and waited 7 minutes before he arrived. I love using both of these services. Prince is very clean and there was a beautiful array of boys. I found a small, six pack boy named Po. I chose a 1.5 hour massage in VIP room. Cost 1500 baht plus 1500 baht tip to boy minimum. The room was nice with a Jacuzzi. I chose not to use the Jacuzzi as the bathroom smelled like sewage. I chose the wrong room for sure as it was a corner room and did not want to shower there but had to. I'll most likely not try the VIP room in the future as it was 500 bath more than standard room and not worth it IMHO. Po was a sexy boy from Myanmar. I'd rate his massage 4/10 and the happy ending 3/10. Both are generous ratings. I was told he could do everything but in the end very little. I doubt I'll believe the mamasan again. But, at the same time, sometimes things just don't click between two people and this was one of those times. I left unsatisfied but with an orgasm. I think I'd have enjoyed jacking off to porn a bit more but that is what it is. I have had this happy in the past, very few times at Hero, but if the massage is great, I'll deal with it. When the mamasan asked if the massage was good, I said just OK. She asked about the boy and I said just OK. She asked about her recommendation and I said, "not good." No tip for mamasan and that is very unusual for me. Also, I did see several boys from Hero there. Prince is very nice place. Beautiful interior and nice rooms. The rooms were clean and shiny. My particular room smelled in the bathroom only so I am not sure if just that room or others. Wait staff was friendly. Overall, a very comfortable place. And, while I did not enjoy my experience, I'll give it another try but will spend more time talking to boy first before the massage instead of relying on mamasan. I also think the mamasan at Hero knew me and always steered me right. I don't yet have that relationship with anyone at Prince. So, give The Prince, gay massage in Bangkok with happy ending service a try. Let me know if your experience is different. I'll also give another test run in Bangkok before I just stick to lady massages with no release and 10 percent of the cash invested. paulsf, 1moRussian, ChristianPFC and 3 others 6 Quote
vinapu Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 I think you were spoiled by mamasan at Hero. I never use their recommendation and in fact talk to them very little if at all, only exception being Arena but there Art kind of knows me so no BS. As they say in statistics , one sample is not a base to develop thesis so give PRINCE another try hoping it will work better next time. Not long ago we had report here from somebody using VIP room at PRINCE and it was all roses so chances are , you just had a bad luck. Sticking to lady massages - don't you have fear of God ? forky123 Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 In my opinion Prince is a lot more hit and miss than Hero. Whilst I didn't always get what I expected at Hero it was always a good time and the unexpected was often far better. Prince I've had both good and bad experiences. Most times walking to Prince I'd find my feet turning into Adonis instead. Guess that isn't an option any more TotallyOz, DivineMadman and emailbroken 3 Quote
vinapu Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Most times walking to Prince I'd find my feet turning into Adonis instead. Guess that isn't an option any more try Sala Daeng shortcut, there's Senso on the way Quote
forky123 Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Been to Senso twice. First time was ok, second time fairly bad. At the prices they charge I'd rather chance my luck elsewhere. Sad that my two favourites have closed though (Adonis and Hero). Both were always a safe bet. Guess it's back to trial and error. DivineMadman 1 Quote
forky123 Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 On a side note, I'm not surprised that some of the sex based massage shops are struggling. I had a really good time twice in a normal massage shop on my last trip and also picking guys with massage skills on Grindr/Hornet. TotallyOz 1 Quote
DivineMadman Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Sorry to hear the bad report about The Prince. I did hear a very similar report from another member recently. I'm lucky I've had more success there, so it's one of my favorite spots. (Been there more than 10 but less than 20 times?) I've never tried the VIP room, so certainly can't speak to that. My concerns about The Prince are that although there is a a core group of guys who have been there a long time, there are so many guys working there and there seems to be a bit of a high turnover, which always makes me wonder about quality control. Also, in my experience, you tend to shower alone before and after. I prefer help in the shower after to get the massage oil off. And if you go late afternoon/early evening the guys will inevitably return immediately into the bullpen for the chance of a future customer, which I think sometimes means they may rush and/or save themselves for the next customer. All this I think tends be true for most shops - I just present this in the interest of a fair appraisal. It's still in my top three places. The location works for me, I like the selection and the layout and because, as I noted, I've had success there ranging from great to good experiences. Statistically it means I'm probably due for a dud. ChristianPFC, paulsf and TotallyOz 3 Quote
pong Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Hi MIke, hanks for your reports-make more of them! @ Hero: you've probably read about SuperHero in faraway samRong (just beyond final stop Baring on BTS+long walk), apparently set up by an outgrown former Hero ''therapist''. Rather basic/Thai style with small staff-unclear if still in bisnis. Now on the TMB site is a new Adv for NEW HERO- stating an adress in (again) Sukh/soi 11, but not yuet open. Just wait and see, or pray and hope? There was also report that either captain or maybe again some former Hero-worker has taken over the former MAR(s)/renamed Club 61 in Sukh.soi 61-BTS Ekamai-opposite. Dont know about what is true of it. Perhaps it suits dear old vinapu better to explore when he's bnack in town, but maybe you can also get adventurous enough to try out. On Prince: earlier reports are that the (Chinese lady) captain/''mamasan'' was only after money+more money and made loud bets (in clear Thai-apparently she never thought of any farang understanding that) with the boys on stage about how much the tip would be. Thats enough for me to never go there. TotallyOz and Nasherich 2 Quote
ChristianPFC Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Thank you very much for your candid report. Most reports on the forums are tinted positive, contrary to my experience which is a lot of duds and the rare occasional gem. TotallyOz and DivineMadman 2 Quote
forky123 Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 That's strange, I find true duds to be a rarity thank goodness. Most experiences fall into the middle ground and you get a small number of gems. vinapu 1 Quote
eurasian Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 My only visit to Prince was a month ago . There were many boys , that is why it was difficult to decide ... after asking several questions to mamasan I decided to pick a boy who really worked hard to get my attention ... I do not remember his name , he is from Chiang Mai and an ex-Hero masseur . Very nice guy and his extra service is satisfactory but his massage surprisingly was very poor for such an experienced masseur ( 6 years in the business ) . If there will be a next time with him I will skip the massage and will use the massage time for something else . We were in a standard room and my rating for the room is average ... rating for the towels is poor for such an expensive place . vinapu and TotallyOz 2 Quote

LOL I liked Hero but with exception of two massages by O I can say rest was more then just OK but I liked experience in the lobby with glass wall , restaurant at all. PRINCE , likewise so far did not do much to me but I continue trying. I mentioned Senso because I count my blessings - always good time there , I guess it's just my good luck and I'm glad I had it. The same with ARENA, BONNY and BANGKOK MASSAGE soi Twilight. As long as at least one of those places is in business it's reason good enough for me to jump and fly. But I understand others may disagree based on THEIR experiences paulsf, DivineMadman, anddy and 1 other 4 Quote

I can't see this advert on the TMB site. I'm currently staying on Sukh soi 11 so if you can give me the plot number, I'll happily check it out Quote

Popular Post ggobkk Posted October 21, 2016 Popular Post Posted October 21, 2016 I had a massage at The Prince in early September and when I returned to Bangkok two weeks ago I went back to see if what had been a great experience could be duplicated. I took a taxi from Surawong arriving around 3pm. 18 boys on display. I was the sole customer. I went with the Vinapu rule and chose the boy who smiled, the mamasan said my choice was skilled in everything. I figure that means some things. Selected a 2 hour scrub and cream in the jacuzzi room (again the previous time had been in a jacuzzi room and I had good memories). Boy from northernThailand/Myanmar had a swimmer's body and after undressing me, stripped down to the suit he was born in...good to very good massage. Some fun playtime in the jacuzzi and a full range of afters (asa well as some "durings"). After the massage was over he walked me back to a now overflowing waiting room! Must have been as many in the waiting area as there were boys behind the glass wall. All were Chinese. My masseur brought me the usual fruity drink and let me know a taxi had been called. While sitting there, I noticed that none of the boys were promenading for the Chinese who were having drinks and maybe looking at the boys playing pool or working out. The mamasan was helping at the bar. When my taxi came, I went outside and passed a large passenger van. Later, I talked with Ya, from Siamroads, mentioning this and he suggested that The Prince was an afternoon tour stop for some Chinese, one or two in the party might be interested in a massage, the rest waited and had drinks which good business for the bar. Decided to mention this as well as complimenting the massage experience. ChristianPFC, 1moRussian, TotallyOz and 3 others 6 Quote

Just went past the old premises and a new building is in progress on the site. No chance of it opening next month by the look of it TotallyOz, TMax and vinapu 3 Quote

pong Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 @ Hero-incarnation. Check TMB-pricelist, its called MY hero (sorry for that), and adress is like 65 sukh. 11-which may in Thai effectively mean soi 11 or 65-up to you. Forgot if their was a tel-nr for asking. If you still stay there, a walk in soi 11 would not be overly far to check both nrs, I guess (no idea what the old nr of Hero used to be). But there is as of now not yet the usual TMB link to prices, map, boys on stage etc. Actually Super Hero had a ditto small ad some weeks ago and this disappeared without the big site coming up. As a kind of routine I check that site every week or so for news. In the distant past they used to mail all updates, but thats long gone. However, to see pix of boys you now often have to log in properly. (plan to move over again to by then hopefully rains-free TH in a week or 2 for winter/cold season, but do not really aim to check that out-hate that soi). vinapu 1 Quote
1moRussian Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 I saw MyHero banner at TMB too. Just happened to have the old Hero card nearby me: Quote
vinapu Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 so it really looks that at 65 sukh 11 it would be old location Quote
TMax Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 There's a Soi Chai Yot which runs off Soi 11 but you follow around to the right instead of the usual left and it's just around the bend, I suppose that could be it. Just looking at Google earth and what do I see at that soi Chai Yot but a sign for the old Albury mens club Quote
1moRussian Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 so it really looks that at 65 sukh 11 it would be old locationI wouldn't pay much attention to the address at this MyHero banner - TMB could just put the old one without thinking much...Still need to visit Prince, I've never been there Quote
