King Cobra - The Movie

The new James Franco movie with Christian Slater about the underworld of gay porn back many years ago is now got a full trailer.  If you remember the story, this was a murder mystery based on real people.  I know many of them in a former life when I was in NYC.  The movie looks interesting.  Can't wait to see it.

That's not what I heard. The movie is a bore, and not very sexy either. Just saying that's what I heard.

I saw the movie this weekend and enjoyed it.  I agree a bit of a bore at times. But, it was great for me to see the story on screen.

Did you find it sexy? The actor playing Brent Corrigan is gorgeous, but is he sexy? I like Franco as well...

I enjoyed the movie and did not find the actor as sexy as Brent himself.  I knew Brent back then and always found him quite handsome. And, I remember those videos selling like hotcakes.

Wow, how is that for a perspective? You knew Brent Corrigan personally. Now that would make it difficult- for me- to watch someone else perform as him. But since I don't have that history, I can take the role as it is played. I am glad to know that you liked the movie. It steers me toward seeing it, but I don't know where. It's not in the theaters.

I found it in my local theater called Pirate Bay.

The Pirate Bay, huh? A Cobra could get hurt in a place like that. In Los Angeles, it is playing at the Sundance Sunset Cinemas, twice an evening. Much safer, I think!
