So first I have to admit I have not done much Guy on Guy, mostly with Ladyboys.

I think staying at Babylon in the "barracks" rooms isn't for everybody. I found the rooms a bit like being in jail and that could be the style they are going for. Any gogo bar should be able to help you out. If you want farang cock then something like Babylon would be ideal. 

 

The do have some suites on top but I did that once and felt it was over priced for what you can get elsewhere. There is always the dating apps as well.

Yeah you can buy it in many places but not official pharmacies like boots. I would still rather buy it in a brick and mortar pharmacy than a street stall. Normally I just send a bar boy to get it for me and tip him.

Barracks are the private rooms in the upper floors of the sauna building. So you have access to the sauna but not the private rooms or shower facilities they call the barracks. The rooms have shared shower facilities and get cruisy. If you don't care about cruising the communal room showers you will have access to everything and all facilities the sauna offers.

Thai sauna's esp. those in BKK, can be hit or often miss and are not at all a sure way to find what you want-and can mean hours of wasted time. of course your age etc will also come into this.

You have access, but I would feel strange leaving the garden area with a towel and shower kit.  Crossing the small parking area and going into the main building in the single elevator to the top floor and then searching the floors for shower action.  Then when I find a hot guy, trying to get them to come with me to my garden room if we can't go to his room.

 

It's easier to just stay at the barracks.

This question sounds quite funny for me. Any hotel in Thailand is gay friendly if you acting properly: renting double room, don't bring to your room underage persons, don't bring homeless or beggars. 

 

5-stars hotels may acting weird if you will bring with you shirtless boy in flip-flops, but it will be question of properly clothing, but not the question of your (or your guest) sexual behavior. 

 

I never met any discrimination at my travel to LOS (over 30 travels).

I use to like staying at the Regent in Silom.  It is in the same soi as G.O.D.  When I first found the place, it was remodeled and it seemed new.  It was a great little basic place but it didn't have a safe in the room and the TV reception was spotty.  You were also lucky if you got a room with a window.  I liked the place.  

 

One thing that bothered me was that the cleaning staff often would not close the door so that the lock would engage.  Many times I came back and only had to push my door open to enter my newly freshened room.  I considered myself lucky that nothing was stolen.

 

On other visits, I ran into the same trouble with my door not being pulled tight by the cleaning staff.  Also things in the room were not working so well.  The heater for the shower would not work or very low water pressure along with no hot water.

 

On my last visit, and I do mean last visit, they put in a policy of charging for room guests that arrived after 7pm.  When they added the joiners fee that is when I stopped considering them for a stay.

I think this is somewhat true but a truly gay friendly hotel will not charge for joiners. No boy that is Thai would go shirtless this is a ridiculous assumption. There is gay friendly and there is begrudgingly friendly and I have experienced both in my 15 years of staying at hotels from the bottom of the barrel right to the top end.

 

I wouldn't recommend the Tarntawan anymore but sadly have no alternative to offer. Come to think of it if you get the Tarntawan on a discount it isn't too bad. They really need to remodel however. Tarntawan if it is 2,000 or around that is an okay deal.

My vote is for Raya, the same price like Tarntawan  but new. Not that I see any fault with Tarntawan.

 

I like BBB Inn but it's a bit worn out for price asked. Massage boys are back but no breakfast served.

 

Both are in the same block soi Twilight is so no need to cross the street.

 

For cheaper but still comfortable option Nantra Silom, perfect for those into Tawan, Nature Boy, Golden Cock and SuperA boys.

Breakfast very basic.

 

No problem with visitors in any of them even if you have more than one in tow/ not tested on animals but personally/.

 

Every hotel in LOS is gay friendly but in some guests may give you and eye, specially if age difference is somewhat substantial.
