Guest ryanasia Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 Some of the suggestions are good if you have never been to them. For sure if you are an active person BKK has more to offer during the day. The posts about things to do in Pattaya seem to often scrape the bottom of the barrel and are one off things. They are good suggestions for a first time trip however. The problem with people who write blogs are is they go out of their way to find something to write about. for your average person that isn't creating content there is little to hold your interest. I would rather read about Christian doing these things than go out and do most of them myself. This is no insult to Christian by any means. I just can't see myself going to second hand book shops for the fun of it. Perhaps take a Thai lesson or two if you have time in Pattaya, it can't hurt and fills in some time. It can ultimately save you a bit of money if you get into it. Quote

I don't even think Christian writes with average person in mind. Gay and bookish with ability to find interesting yet out of way and unknown places - it's not average person's diet . Average person travels to and from work, watches TV and then proceeds to the bedroom to have boring sex with wife of 11 years. ChristianPFC 1 Quote

Moses Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Koh Larn: take boat from Pattaya pier, 20-40 min depends on boat's speed Siracha Zoo + Gibbon flight: a lot of stalls alongside beach road, about 3600 baht per person, they will pick up you from hotel and drop off at the end also to hotel (full day tour) or book online https://www.treetopasia.com/pattaya-zipline-eco-adventure-tour Nong Nooch park take taxi and Nick from Siamroads.com and explore (or only Nick if you are alone and agree to use motobike, about 30 min from central Pattaya) Million Years stones park also taxi and Nick Aquarium - by the way to/from Nong Nooch, quite small (1 hour will be enough) countryside baggy tour - mostly at stalls/booths for tourists, owner is Russian, so mostly at stalls with Russian advertisings Quote
