TotallyOz Posted July 23, 2016 Author Posted July 23, 2016 Now I know what I am not missing by not watching Game of Thrones. Honestly, it is without a doubt one of the greatest TV Shows of all time. Great writing. Great characters. Great plot. It wins so many awards because it is really that good. Quote
kokopelli Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 I don't want to believe you Michael, but likely you are right! I recall Breaking Bad which I loved and recommended to a friend who poo-pooed it at first but then fell in love with it. So who knows! There are so many shows on TV which take a bit of time to get hooked on but once addicted ..... Anymore when I watch TV I get distracted by surfing the web and neglect the plot of the TV show. TotallyOz Posted July 24, 2016 Author Posted July 24, 2016 I watched the first few episodes and hated it. I thought odd and hard to follow. but, I kept watching the first season. At the end of that season, I said, "This is amazing." I have been a loyal fan ever since. I love the books and the TV shows. Brilliant IMHO. Quote
firecat69 Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 The only way to watch it is by threading all episodes together and watch them in succession. Otherwise you have no idea what kings are dead and which are still alive. Did they really have that many Kings? TotallyOz 1 Quote
kokopelli Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Today spoke with a friend who is an actor, director and professor of drama who also said Game of Thrones is the best of the best. So, I will try to start off slow and see how it goes. TotallyOz 1 Quote
