Just to name a few (more prominent ones) Angela Merkel in Germany Janet Yellen runs the Federal Reserve Aung Sung Suu Yii in Myanmar Theresa May (PM designated) UK ** Helen Clark (former PM of New Zealand) is eyeing the post of the next UN chief Hilary Clinton (former Secretary of State and had slept with an ex-President) is almost the hot favourite to win the US election ** Except for Tim Cook who runs Apple, how many out of the closet gays are managing major corporations. It seems there are more lesbians holding office and gay men. Why? Are gay men more prone to personal attacks? Quote

Some have been very successful, such as Mrs Thatcher & Mrs Merkel has done very well until some recent misjudgements. The percentage of men who are gay is less clear. The UK Office For National statistics reckoned it was 1.5% of men in 2013. So out of the FTSE 100 companies, if allocation of the top jobs had not gender or sexuality bias, about 50 CEOs would be men, of which about 1 would be gay. Whether he is openly gay is questionable. How many are openly straight is another question. Not openly gay, but widely known, possibly due to his Canadian boyfriend. As for Lesbians, I have no idea & no plans to research it any time soon. Quote
