Popular Post DivineMadman Posted June 19, 2016 Popular Post Posted June 19, 2016 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QisqB0xNvnnrd1F7GOCWnwuHH1w9ldcRGsTgqG6nfuw/edit?usp=sharing Here is a link to an updated (and slightly simplified) chart of some of the more significant BKK massage shops. In the chart there is a link "Map" to a google map with their locations. Some I haven't been to yet, or haven't been to in a few years, so I don't have anything to report on. Others I may have only been to once and if I had a less than stellar experience I've just left it blank rather than base my opinion on one dud. There are, of course, many more M4M massage shops in Bangkok, but I've limited myself to the ones that are clearly massage-with-extras shops. Usually, but not always the pricing is pretty explicit - house fee and stated minimum tip. I've also limited the scope, for the most part, to shops that advertise one way or another to the farang crowd. Just as there are those who like Tawan Bar and those who don't, there are those who strongly prefer picking from a lineup and those who are ok with making a selection from pictures of who is available or on-call. I would encourage people to try both. For shorter term visits I understand the thrill of trying a broad a sample, and Bangkok is a wonderful buffet for these purposes, but the benefits of having a "regular" (or two or three or four) that you like and visit repeatedly really should not be underestimated. vinapu, steveboy, Aux1010 and 9 others 12 Quote
vinapu Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 great job again Madman. I can sign the last paragraph of your statement above with both hands Quote
orson Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 A shame the tawan/sun massage only a single guy that whets the appetite Quote
DivineMadman Posted June 20, 2016 Author Posted June 20, 2016 A shame the tawan/sun massage only a single guy that whets the appetite yes. I've tried that place once or maybe twice it was so disappointing I confess I've blocked it from my mind. Quote
vinapu Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 I, on another hand had one of my most memorable massages here, guy was so skillful that I had honest impression that three , not two hand are working on my carcass. But never saw him there later so did not patronize since Quote
tatar Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Thank you so much, this review is very well organized and easy to compare between those shops. I personally have favorite shops on my mind, but I'd love to try other places. Quote
ChristianPFC Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Thank you very much for your efforts. The document is not printer friendly, when printing on A4 paper, you need good eyes to read it. I suggest changing the format to use a bigger font next edition. There is a huge coming and going of Thai4Thai gay massage places, advertised in Thai language on Thai websites/social networks. But fortunately, those targeting foreigners are stable in number and location, only few closures and movings. Quote
ggobkk Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 I copied the document to an excel spreadsheet and adjusted some of the columns...still not really printable...but have it as a reference. That said, THANKS, DivineMadman, for this - much appreciated. I hope you had a great time as a researcher! Quote
DivineMadman Posted June 20, 2016 Author Posted June 20, 2016 Sorry guys. I'm sort of paper-less these days, so I only thought of it as an on-line viewing doc. Quote
pong Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Khrap khun duay, many thanks for this effort-an extensive followup of the old shamefull mackie. Inn due time i might add some experience for more, but time prevents me for now. I would omit that new Common-its way out in the sticks and very far from LPrao/MRT and even from normal buses. Vipa44 just replaces former Homme2. KINGs has a special: doublesize beds, have never seen that in other places. BodyClub has twins-beds 9friom the old place): more like 1,5 width. Jey charges 500/700 for oil//60/90 mins, MIn tip is 500 soft/1000 hard. hard to find out, except by actual visits, but it might be useful to add of they accept cred-cds-some do, (like jey). Waternest (sukhumvit) is reported as closed. Onnce that new MRT line opens, you might add the 3 places close by one another in far away Nonthburi, also posting on TMB: Seed, HiClub and IMAspa. By then much eaiser to get to as those along Lard Prao and its subsois. ChristianPFC, vinapu and DivineMadman 3 Quote
Guest Looksee Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Thanks for the helpful write up. I saw that you tried the tantric massage at Spa Bangkok. The website says customers must apply for membership first, Is that done at the reception. How much should the tip be for that 3 hours treatment you had. Quote

How much should the tip be for that 3 hours treatment you had. - yes you "apply for membership" at the reception but it's really not an application for membership for a tourist visit, just pick your masseur and schedule the appointment and pay a modest deposit (I forget how much). - I forget the tip. My guess is I would have given at least 1,500, probably 2,000 for all that time and effort. Quote
farangyai Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Thank you for sharing your info. Contrary to Orson experience, I had a guy who gave an excellent massage at Sun/Tawan. I did not want extras just an excellent massage. He always did so and I gave him a generous tip since I got a two hour strong massage. He worked hard at it the whole time. He first worked at Indira and then moved to Sun when they opened. He did not speak a word of English but we communicated. Quote

He is the fattest of them all, which seems to help him with the thai massage. I fear for my safety if i am being handled by the current twinkish line up of tawan massage. Quote
vinapu Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 I just came out of tawan bar. we hope that after having a rest you will report on anniversary party at the bar Quote
