I have a problem with are the ones who pay a lot of money for the airfare, stay in good hotels, eat in good restaurants, drink like there's no tomorrow, and then try to save money by offering cheap tips to the boys - and the boys are the reason these people come here in the first place. 

but there are ones to counterbalance:

Most customers will not 'off' boys after they jerk off. Even though at their age, they can revive fairly quickly.

Some boy bars pay far less to the boys in the shows. One boy at Xboys in Pattaya told me he got 20 B. per show to do

the bigcock show. Three shows a night, he made 60 B. a night, excluding tips of course .

Last trip I purchased 2 phones for guys I like as friends.... just friends... no sex.

 

In pattaya I purchased a Samsung j2 for my friend Beer in pattaya. And in Bangkok, i purchased a Samsung J3 for my friend Tea.

 

I wanted to give beer a phone because his friends were becoming annoyed with him borrowing their phone to log onto planet romeo and face book.

 

I wanted tee to have an android phone after the iPhone 4s I gave him was near death.

 

I hope never to buy another phone for anyone in thailand again which won't be hard since this may be my last trip for a long time.

 

The sad thing is that I enjoyed going from bar to bar, buying the guys drinks and leaving them a tip. Now that is difficult to do with the high prices of drinks and everyone begging for higher tips.

Although recently my experience has been in Pattaya, I lived in Bangkok for 2 1/2 years. I took many boys from Soi Twilight from all the Bars and never paid more then 2000 for an overnight at least the first time .  Sometimes for regulars during tough times I would give a little more.  In that time there were many repeats but I easily saw a hundred different boys. Not one of them owned a car or even a motor bike and used public transportation to get around. Many times an extra 100 for taxi home was given.

 

Now I have only been in Tawan once in my life so I have no experience with that type of boy.

 

Pattaya has always been priced lower for many reasons but the going rate for short time is 1000 and overnights 1500. This has not changed for 15 years . During the very high season boys might be able to get offed twice depending on what time their first off occurred and thus harder to get an overnight without paying 2000,

 

Although I have been in BBB many times and ABomb a few times I have never offed from there and it is my understanding boys ask for more. Maybe they get it all the time and maybe they get it sometimes . i don't know.

 

What I do know is that the slim younger boys in the Bars have to compete with boys on the Apps. A large % of the boys in the Bars are on the Apps and thus the crossover of knowledge of minimum tips.

 

Transportation is so cheap  and distances short that boys can easily get to farangs Hotels or apartments.  BKK much different. I run into boys where travel to meet me can easily be 2 hours and at some point that does effect the price.

 

 

Although my last stay in BKK, there were boys on the Apps happy with 1000 . There are even Bars other then Soi Twilight where 1000 is still acceptable.

 

Bottom line there are some boys who can get 3000. They represent a small % of the total boys who are in the trade and their customer certainly has far fewer choices in terms of Bars.

 

Of course when I uses %'s of boys , I am generalizing .  But it is not so hard to go on Hornet, Grindr, Jack'd , Romeo and realize that the vast majority of boys are not Tawan types and will rarely if ever see the 3000 and more prices we have seen in this thread.

 

I am happy for them and would love to hear from Vinapu what % of his offs drove their car to or from his Hotel or even their expensive motorcycles not motorbikes.  My guess is , it is EXTREMELY small but maybe not.

I certainly have never criticized anyone for what some consider overpaying.  There is nothing inconsistent about saying that everyone should pay the generally accepted minimum but recognizing that sometimes the boy may have to accept less due to circumstances . His choice not the client who can afford to pay the minimum but is to cheap.

I think what it all boils down to is being reasonable with these boys.  While I would rather see the boys overpaid than underpaid, in my opinion 1000 to 1500 baht for short time is reasonable.  300 to 400 baht is unreasonable.  On the other hand, I believe giving the boys 3000 baht or more for short time is also unreasonable, assuming you're with the boy as a customer.

With all due respect, people who really know how to write Thai instead of just copying & pasting words do tend to know that it's unusual to separate words within the same sentence by spaces. Which makes me wonder if you're the best candidate to question other members' proficiency.

In May last year I was about to off boy from there when Mamsan brought him chits for performing in two numbers in the show, total 280. I doubt it changed. I wonder how much boy who bottoms in fuck shows gets but I doubt it would be more than 200-300 plus tips from the audience.
