Travellerdave Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Sounds like a very unlikely story. I think the days of fondling boys and giving 20 baht tips are long gone. 20 was certainly the tip in Sunee when I first came to Pattaya. I remember Crazy Dragon and its table top dancing boys. They collected 20's in the waistbands of their shorts which they acquired from wandering customers hands. Don't think you could get a smoke for that but maybe 50 would do !. Quote
steveboy Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 were you looking in the mirror when typing this? Nobody is ruining market more than those jerking off to a TV porn as they deprive boys their living forcing them to drop from the scene. LOL! And hmmm.... maybe I'm ruining some market each time I jerk off... but I only do it at home, not in LOS. vinapu 1 Quote
vinapu Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 I know a farang who pays 20B. to 'smoke' boys in Sunee bars. Always for about 15 seconds or less. The boys don't seem to mind as they return many times for the quickie and the next 20B. This farang gets annoyed when farangs tip 100B. without 'smoking' and maybe just a feel. I wonder if he's shamahan. nothing wrong with either tip IMHO, 20 baht is not much but neither is 15 seconds so it's fair. 100 baht for temporary company at the bar seems to be standard. When leaving bar I always leave 100 in the briefs of best looking boy on the stage who did not receive other tip from me ( for sitting with me of participation in fuck/big cock show ) is this raising somebody's blood pressure? The farang is a regular and the boys he likes end up with many 20b. notes for a few seconds play several times a night. Almost all the boys accept 20b. tips for a quick fondle and keep returning for additional 20b tips. If a lad sits with me, 100b. is minimum. Of course, some farangs give 40 to 100b. for a quick fondle and some give nothing. Some farangs sit on their hands when the boys offer their goods and cannot part with a tip, only ogle. kokopelli 1 Quote
vinapu Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 in December one of granddaddies from BBB kept pestering me for tip from the stage so to get rid of him I dropped 10 baht coin in his briefs and he was not offended at all, we had good laugh Quote
1moRussian Posted May 17, 2016 Author Posted May 17, 2016 In July and December (not sure about April) there were baskets with 5 or 6 pingpong balls there. BBB sold them for 100 baht per basket, customers threw balls to boys, some boys collected the balls and later exchanged for money: 10 baht for a ball. Some boys were keen to collect, and some stayed still demonstrating that 10 baht prize is too small to move... Actually, no bad idea - there is nothing to do in a bar and this can bring some activity and chance to see the boys from different angles and interacting - but I prefer the bar returning the whole ball price to the boys. It brings more fun, so customers should appreciate it. Quote
vinapu Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 idea of ping pong balls I like but I personally prefer just to stick 100 in briefs of the best looking boy , bar get enough from me in drink price Quote
a447a Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I must admit that I was horrified when I saw customers throwing pingpong balls at the guys in BBB and saw them scrambling after them on stage. I thought it was degrading. And at the end of the day it is just another moneymaking scheme for the bar, as they keep half the money. And shamahan, I'm one of those guys who 'don't give a flying fuck". What another customer is prepared to pay, or can afford to pay, is none of my business. "They want to have instant gratification and act as there is no tomorrow " Yep, that just about sums me up. I know what I want and when I want it. And I'm prepared to pay whatever it takes to get it. That's my right. Life's too short to do anything else. And I don't give a second thought to how my actions impact on other customers who are chasing the same thing. I'm sure they don't give any thought to me,either. And that's how it should be. Some farang buy their guys iPhones, gold chains, motorbikes, etc. I don't. But are they spoiling it for me? Or course not! And good luck to the guys who are beneficiaries of such largesse. To each his own. And I think the real "Fucking, worthless , stupid jerks" are those people who criticise others who do not conform to their own ideas of what constitutes value for services performed, or generosity towards those who have so little compared to us. splinter1949, Aux1010 and vinapu 3 Quote
ChristianPFC Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Regarding meeting the boy after work: too late for me in most cases. I like to be in bed midnight or 1 am, and not waiting for a boy to come 2 am. Regarding meeting the boy the following day: worked poorly for me in Bangkok. With their space-time coordination, I wonder how they manage to go to the bar. I offer 1000 or 1200 for boy to come to see me directly, after taking him once from bar with 1500 for short time in Bangkok, but success rate is poor (details in my blog). Going to the bar and paying a reasonable off fee is still the best option for me. DivineMadman and vinapu 2 Quote

My experience is that each time in Thailand I see always at least one Farang in a go go bar or beer bar who does not tip at all. I see he stops a boy, fondles, boy leaves and I didn't see any tipping. I am happy to read in this thread this is rare and most tip, which is the right thing to do. Although 20 baht is very very low. williewillie Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 One of the interesting parts of the 10:30 show, is when a dozen or more 'hard', nearly naked guys come off the stage into the audience. Usually, they're wearing a mask but discerning eyes can recognize tattooes and figure out who is who. It's an opportunity get hands on, although some wear condoms. Some beautiful butts too and regulars can get special treatment, for just 100b. Most of the boys are proud of what they have and very playful with the audience. Sometimes the Chinese girls squeal and everyone who plays, puts a tip in the boys hat or whatever. It's a good time to check out Mr. Too big too long, a size queens dream vinapu and Vessey 2 Quote
1moRussian Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 Late June - sat inside from 10:30 till 23:50 once: - yes, they really have coyotes now: there are particular 5-6 boys, who dances at small stages around the bar. These boys sometimes go to the big stage, but not vise versa - the majority of boys doesn't go to dance at small stages, they just stay at the big stage (or leave it sometimes), - so probably, it really costs 800 baht to off a coyote boy before 23:00. But why the bar decided to have those separate coyote boys, I could not understand. Thai guys don't want to dance/move? (two of those 5-6 coyotes are Lao without numbers, couldn't say anything about other four) And the bar still wants to have dancing boys? "You dance" means "you are gay"? And straight and semi-straight guys could participate in "check the merchandise" performance, but could not dance in the bar? Quote
Popular Post Gaybutton Posted July 6, 2016 Popular Post Posted July 6, 2016 Some farang buy their guys iPhones, gold chains, motorbikes, etc. I don't. Sometimes, if it's a boy I like enough to want to give something substantial to beyond a tip, I don't buy him gold, telephones, motorbikes, or anything of the kind. You know what I do? I ask him when was the last time he had money enough to go home and visit his family. Most of the time it's been many months, sometimes years. If that's the case, I buy him a round-trip home so he can be with his family for a few weeks and I give him money enough so he can have a good time while he's there. I've done that several times over the years. Based on the response I invariably get, they appreciate that far more than anything else I could have bought. I still get "Thank you so much" notes from boys who received that gift years ago. Consider doing that, gents. ChristianPFC, splinter1949, vinapu and 3 others 6 Quote

Gaybutton Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 you have a good heart ! Great idea I certainly think it's a good idea too. I should have posted it long ago. I hope it's an idea that catches on. The boys will love you for it and it means a hell of a lot more to them than an expensive telephone - which they're likely to end up losing, breaking, selling, or somebody steals it. Or gold - which they're likely to end up selling or somebody steals it. I used to give things like that to boys once in awhile. And I always ended up regretting it. Probably, no matter what happens to those things, sooner or later they'll forget who even gave it to them. But a chance to go home and be with the family, along with having a good amount of spending money too - they're not going to forget that - not ever. And that's something I've never regretted doing. Another thought - if need be, it's also a good way to get rid of a boy for awhile . . . TotallyOz and Vessey 2 Quote
Vessey Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Being 50:50 I can look across both sides of the fence. I would say that the fees and tips for the boys are still more than advantageous compared to girls prices from the Walking Street/LK Metro agogs. There is considerable variation in the agogo prices of course, but bar-fines can often be in excess of 1k baht, and for some of the showgirls considerably more, but often cheaper after 1am. And whereas an average for agogo girls for ST tips might be 2k baht and for LT 3k baht, there are many that ask and get quite a bit more. Indeed 3k ST and 5k LT are being regularly asked by some of the more popular girls. As ever Beer Bar girls and freelances are usually significantly lower. In Soi 6, for example, the barfine (including use of room above) is 300 baht and the girl's tip 1k baht. Where the boy bars/agogos seem to 'win' at the moment is drink prices (especially boy drink prices) which seem somewhat higher than most of their girl equivalents. I feel more forgiving of higher drink prices at places like BBB and XBoys where at least you get a decent cock-show in compensation, but not for places like Toy Boys that charge the same without any real show. vinapu and ChristianPFC 2 Quote

Guest abang1961 Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 I really like the idea of paying for the young guy's trip home. It is this intangible gift that remains in their memory for a long time. Buying a gift for others = gracious act. For me, I pamper myself by buying a new phone instead of offing a guy.. anyway, where are the farangs for me? Quote

I think you picked an unfair comparison there Vessey BBB and XBoys charge 300B for a drink Toy boys Charge 220B, and I am often offered a free drink before I am finished my first(as are a lot of other customers) In my opinion TB offers better value than all the other bars in Pattaya - as they have a much better product in terms of boy quality vs price Phet and williewillie 2 Quote

1moRussian Posted July 7, 2016 Author Posted July 7, 2016 I think, BBB charges 280 and Xboys 260, although I was disappointed by Xboys this June - it looked quite average in terms of show and boys selection. I like Toy Boys, but they tend to have more muscular boys outside the bar as touts and more average inside - at least that was my cases with TB. So some last offs from TB were without going inside and ordering drinks. Quote
