Popular Post Nasherich Posted March 27, 2016 Popular Post Posted March 27, 2016 I arrived late Saturday afternoon after five days in Phnom Penh having originally planned to go to the foam party at Babylon but being quite tired after not much sleep the night before, decided I wasn't in the mood. After a meal at Dick's cafe, I took the metro to Phrom Phong and walked from there to Jeyspa (10 minutes I guess), arriving around 8pm. I opted for a 90 minute scrub and oil massage for 800b. Masseurs are chosen on a tablet. Having first asked if they were all available, I made my choice. Not available. Nor the second. Having established that the guy had not understood my question, I asked him to pick out the ones that were actually physically present. And so finally a suitable and available choice was made. The room was nice, with en suite outdoor shower (I know that's a kind of oxymoron but it describes it well). The scrub part was good, Masseur naked from the start. Showering was alone until the end of the session although I could have done with his assistance getting all the grit off after the scrub part. I thought the massage part was fairly good too, and involved a nice slippery body to body segment which I wasn't expecting. Perhaps the only criticism I would offer is that i like the whole massage to have its erotic moments along the way, whereas this lacked that until the end. Perhaps we just didn't have a connection, which sometimes happens? No specific mention was made of special services (although the menu refers to a minimum tip for soft and hard services), but I wasn't too fussed as I was quite tired and relaxed by this point and happy to leave it at a simple HJ. After settling the bill/tips, the masseur gave me a lift on his mc to the top of the soi (which is actually a pretty long walk). For the evening, I went to the late show (midnight) at Hot Male. A good selection of boys there, I thought, and the show was choreographed and performed well. I wasn't up for offing anyone so left it at one drink and returned to my hotel after the conclusion. The next day, after a lot of faffing around in the dtac centre in Silom getting a Thai SIM card (why does it take so long?), I decided to head for Banana Club for the afternoon. I thought the setup here first class. Everything was very professional. The manager helped me choose a masseur and there was no embarrassment; it was all matter of fact and making sure I was going to be happy. Yes, he genuinely seemed to care. The massage itself was excellent. Clearly the guy had been professionally trained and everything reached a happy conclusion on both sides. So enamoured was I with the place, I opted for a foot massage afterwards too, in the downstairs part which seems to be doing really good business. I wasn't expecting to partake of anything else that day, but after traipsing around Terminal 21, I felt I could do with another foot treatment later that evening. A couple of boys took my eye at Mantra (not previously mentioned anywhere on this forum I believe) which is across the road and 50 yards to the right from Raya Surawong hotel, and I took a punt at a 250b 1 hour foot massage. Unlike most places, there were no reclining chairs, but mattresses on the floor in curtained 'cubicles'. I was asked to remove my shorts and put on the loose trousers used for Thai massage. The massage proceeded in the normal fashion but half way through more attention than usual was given to my legs, the masseur in an interesting position, his elbow gently massaging what was becoming a sturdy third leg. After a cheeky smile from him, it was only a matter of time before the trousers were around my ankles and his mouth doing most of the work. With negligible encouragement, his clothes also disappeared and we spent the remainder of the time rolling about blissfully and him cumming all over my face. Almost certainly we would have done more if I hadn't felt twinges of a possible stomach upset! I think I will go back when I return from Pattaya in 10 days, even though it was probably the unexpected nature of it that made it so hot. More mundanely, I changed hotels today. I stayed at the Tarntawan Place last night but had only booked one night. When I enquired about another night before arriving, they quoted me a stupid price and so I booked the Raya Surawong instead, and I'm glad. I wasn't impressed with the Tarntawan, even though I know it's a favourite with others on here. The room did not smell fresh and although they did come and spray it, the effect didn't last long. Breakfast, despite the claim to be 24 hours, had all gone by 10 am so I went to a cafe round the corner. By contrast the Raya was cheaper, included breakfast and is smart and clean, so that's where I'll stay from now on. The only issue was the check in process where I was given a form to sign with the name of a different guest and even sex. Very peculiar, even though the surnames had some similarities if you didn't listen too closely. Alexx, DivineMadman, lilbob69 and 7 others 10 Quote

Nasherich Posted April 6, 2016 Author Posted April 6, 2016 The visit to Pattaya was much more constrained as I was meeting up with my boyfriend there. Staying in the heart of the Jomtien complex, I was rarely allowed to venture out on my own for fear that I might be ensnared by alternative entertainment. This was almost comical sometimes, but I really like walking through the complex and engaging in banter with the boys and see no harm in a bit of flirting. I just about managed a foot massage at Soda massage (competent but uneventful) and an oil massage at the place opposite Ganymede that's taken over a former restaurant premises. This was a good experience that ended happily. I had a couple of oil messages at the Blind Institute which is always excellent and above board. Several nights we ate at Dick's (I think the food is better here than the one in Bangkok). Show wise, we visited The Venue and enjoyed it immensely, and Boyzboyzboyz which, to be honest, bored me. I'd rather have just let the boys wander around than try and perform in such a disjointed production. Perhaps I'm expecting too much. Nonetheless the boys themselves were great and an excellent number available from which to choose. It was good to see a bit more life in the Jomtien complex generally. It's a nice relaxed scene there and I hope it grows. vinapu, jacquet and ChristianPFC 3 Quote
Nasherich Posted April 7, 2016 Author Posted April 7, 2016 Returned to Bangkok yesterday and decided to visit The Prince Spa. Wow! What an amazing selection of fit guys. I think I could have just had a random assignment such is the quality and beauty of the guys. Ok I did find the selection process a little intimidating/embarrassing but I was pleased with my choice. The rooms are really comfortable and clean and a very pleasant 90 minutes was spent in the company of a 26 year old gorgeous Thai boy. I was certainly happy! DivineMadman and vinapu 2 Quote

Nasherich Posted April 7, 2016 Author Posted April 7, 2016 Not sure I can explain it...Perhaps because I'm not used to the process. Maybe once I've done it a few more times, it won't. Perhaps I need to think of it more as the commercial transaction it is! Quote
traveller123 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 It is difficult to remember it is purely a commercial transaction, most guys seem able to make you feel special even when you are an old farang like myself. Guess that's what makes it all so amazing, it must be a Thai thing as my partner of over 7 years still makes me feel special. Quote

Breakfast, despite the claim to be 24 hours, had all gone by 10 am so I went to a cafe round the corner. In defence of the 24 hour claim, breakfast at the Tarntawan *IS* actually available 24 hours. I used to see that as a major advantage of the hotel, as I like to sleep LATE and then have breakfast after waking up, regardless of the type of meal the clock would wish to dictate You just must not confuse the breakfast buffet for the 24 hour thing. Of course, they don't keep the buffet open 24 hours, things would go bad obviously. However, the a-la-carte breakfast can be had 24 hours. Just ask for the breakfast menu. In fact the buffet is a somewhat recent addition to their service, maybe about 5 years. Before that, there was no buffet, just the a la carte breakfast, avaibable anytime. Unless they have changed it, this should still be the case. I have to admit I haven't stayed there in 3 or 4 years, so I can't be 100% sure. Quote
ggobkk Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Anddy, the Tarntawan buffet is still a morning ritual. Quote
anddy Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Anddy, the Tarntawan buffet is still a morning ritual. that's what I said, the buffet is in the morning only, but a la carte should be / used to be available 24 hours Quote
Guest abang1961 Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 The issue is where to have breakfast if Hotel T. does not offer it after a certain hour. Boy you must be new in town because there are scores of foodie restaurants in the Silom area - mind you, the food served may even be more palatable. Quote
Guest whall Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I wouldn't pay for the buffet again. So many other choices in the area to choose from. Quote
Londoner Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 The Tarntawan buffet (and its a la carte breakfast) are included in the room price....as is breakfast for your partner. I've never been a fan of cooked breakfast and find the buffet a huge improvement. anddy 1 Quote
