Bob Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 What can one say when a poster makes comments like "You fucking asked a question.." and then, 6 hours later, claims he was trying to have a "very peaceful and calm discussion..." What the hell, at least it provided my chuckle of the morning. Restoration of some of Allen's work has brought back mostly happy memories for me.....so thanks for that. And Allen, wherever you are, put your broom down and take it easy as you have no obligation to use your moderation broom to sweep this thread clean! williewillie, llz and TotallyOz 3 Quote

And, just as a side note, I use the word fucking all the time. I'm a New Yorker for most of my life and using that is not offensive to me. And, again, I do not think I was being rude until I was asked are you kidding? How many times do I need to repeat myself before it is acceptable to use the word fucking? 2 times? 4 times? 6 times? Guidelines please. I fucking want to know! Quote

No, but I do think if the word is rude for you then you do not need to be creating websites that deal with moneyboys (or moneyboys fucking) in Thailand. Isn't that fucking simple? I mean, hey, you create sites for prostitutes and what do they do for money? They fuck. I don't find it fucking offensive at all. But, if you do, may I suggest the Betty Crocker website? Quote

Guest ronnie4you Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Wow. It is so nice to see so many people log in to "like" other posts. I'll have to be bluntly honest more often. While I am in the minority, I do believe that if you owe a site you own the rights to the content forever and for someone to dig up old stuff to post is wrong. That said, since GayButton and Surfcrest are OK with it, I have started backing up their sites just in case they pass gently into the good night and that way, we will be able to save all those conversations forever. (just kidding guys, I would never do that) How can a dead person own anything? He can leave it to his estate, but then they own it. If he did not make provisions to leave it to anyone, I suggest that he abandoned it. We cannot let gay history just evaporate. So I think Moses is doing the right thing here by helping to preserve history. He is not, as I understand it, claiming that this is his work. It's not a big moneymaker. So I see him as doing a service. When Hooboy died, his family could have profited from his escort-related website, but they chose not to. It died and that history is gone. At least I don't know how to resurrect it. But one couldn't, in that case, because we know it is owned by the estate. That does not seem to be the case with the material Moses is working with. I would be fine with someone pointing out that I am wrong, but you wouldn't have to say I was "fucking wrong!' Thank you! Just say that I am totally wrong, or partially wrong, and why. Then we can discuss it nicely. Quote
Guest ronnie4you Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Not to be rude, but who wants to take care of someone in their dying days? Not many. I had an aunt died a few years back that was beloved by the entire family and only 3 out of 15 of us took time to help her in the last years of her life even though she helped every one of us. Many could not do it and it did not mean they didn't love her or she them. Some are just incapable of watching this happen to someone and I don't begrudge them what they had when they were livelier. Some of us believe that old phrase "In sickness and in health." I know that I do. However, I am not speaking here of commercial relationships. In that case, whatever is offered is a bonus. People do have gratitude for employment or other opportunities and may choose to reward by helping out in troubled times for the employer. Quote

Almost everywhere at streets of city you can find "massage" with "happy ending", but almost nowhere you will find The Thai Massage. If you want The Thai Massage then I will be happy to serve you — just call me Here CAN I ASK COMPANION TO PROVIDE “ADDITIONAL” SERVICE? Yes. You can ask almost everything what can help You in your particular needs: to order bus ticket or taxi, to call to some place and talk with people, to help You with your luggage and other such routine: it’s their job — to make your life on holidays easy and smooth. For example you can ask your Companion to bring some food from supermarket or even to wash your clothes (Companion will find good laundry and place order there)… …but: *** “Almost everything” doesn’t include any sexual services. Every escort agency in NYC has the same terms. Do you honestly believe that 400 an hour is just for time and companionship? Get real! You are most welcome to mention your sites as you seem to in your signature anyway. Why would that bother me in the least? I want your friends to get work and to ply their trade. You better know prices in NY for sure, but fool here is you: "do you believe" what 175 baht per hour or 700 baht per tour is price of prostitution? http://bkktour.info/index.php/temple-of-reclining-buddha/ Try to catch them in bar then... One is designer for Agoda, second is student in last year in UNI at hospitality and tourism faculty, both spend full summer vacation, paid and obtain officially license for guides. Again advise: you have to stop put yourself to their place and think "What I will do on their place?". They aren't you, you forgot this "small" detail. I've seen less per hour. If you do a 1500 baht short time for 10 hours, can you tell me what the rate per hour is? I know you don't speak English well. But, math is usually done the same around the world. (to help even further, 150 per hour) Damn, your boys are charging a premium. They must be high end! Quote

forky123 Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Well. I have hired one of the tour guides from one of the sites on my first visit to Bangkok. He was an exceptional tour guide, translator and organiser. He was not using it as a cover for plying prostitution. He spent long hours during the day showing me many of the tour sites and providing an excellent history. In the evening he took me to the shows and it was great to be able to watch without being pestered by anyone. He spent lots of time trying to find what I was interested in and pointing out boys that might suit me. At no point did he try to sell himself. I think you do boys a disservice with your rude and disrespectful assumptions Michael. ChristianPFC and Moses 2 Quote

Gaybutton Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Old website "Albury Men's Club Bangkok" as is was April 16, 1998 When I see photos of boys from years ago, I can't help but wonder whatever became of them - like a "Where Are They Now?" article. Many boys I used to like and often see have vanished. My guess is most of them ended up back on the rice farm. Moses 1 Quote
