Well, another Pattaya visit completed and sadly on my way home now. I just didn't have the energy for a daily update style report, so in my more recent style - some random thoughts:

BF and I still getting on like crazy. I have no idea how or why, but we just get each other and it just always seems to work. We have known each other 5 years and been "together" almost 4 years. I would have never believed it. We are starting to make more serious plans about the daunting task of getting him a Visa to visit the USA. If we ever figure it out, I will be sure to post about it.

Anyway, enough of the gushy stuff. Moving on to some more pedestrian fare. We once again stayed in a Condo near Jomtien Complex. Really liking it for the comfy bed and "home-like" feel. Expensive in high season, but not sure we can go back to the cheap guesthouses again. Also much more lengthy to commute into Pattaya every night due to high-season traffic. I definitely prefer low season visits for the cheaper condo rates and less traffic.

Lot Kratong was a disappointment. It fell on a Wednesday, which meant that no beach chair vendors were allowed to have parties, let alone set up their chairs. The result was a quick visit to launch our float into the water, hopefully taking all our bad deeds with it, and then with nothing to do we ended up in a bar at Jomtien Comolex. Really not the same fun as years past. I still find the floating lanterns to be a cool view.

Speaking of "bad deeds", the visit was not without my share of hanky-panky. As usual, I will not extol upon the various actors and virtues as too many members know me and BF by now. I will mention that I finally made friends with a dancer from Tam Nam Isan, who I have had my eye on for some time. And it was worth the wait...just beautiful and so eager to please. Wow.

As usual, we made Sunee our nightly hangout. Very much the same as always, with the added kicker of being more lively this time of year.

Eros was a nightly stop fr a beer and a lot of groping. I really like the laid back vibe here. After getting to know some of the staff, i learned that all the "dancers" are freelance. None of them make salary. It explains why some tend to not be around every night...and probably why they are so eager to earn tips. Surprisingly, one of the guys is a very talented massage guy. I had a 20 minute or so impromptu shoulder/arm/hand massage that was certainly better then I have ever received at a massage shop. Bliss. I could only imagine what he could manage with a full body massage...maybe next trip.

Speaking of trips, I had a big one this visit....from a sidewalk in disrepair. Hahaha. Quite a story. I was making my way home alone from Sunee and was walking along 2nd road, waiting for a baht bus. I walked past a lovely lad, who I belatedly realized was probably free-lancing. He caught my gaze and I turned my head to keep him in my sight. While our eyes were locked on each other, and he raised his eyebrow in a seductive manner, the sidewalk came to an abrupt drop-off. Oops. I twisted and sprained my ankle pretty fierce. And of course my demonstrated grace amused my potential suitor to no end. I limped and grimaced my way down the walk with his chuckling echoing in my humiliated mind.

I was really fearing the worst. Within a couple of minutes the pain grew substantially and it really was a struggle to make it home. And of course as luck would have it, while on the baht bus to Jomtien, a group of 4 lads hopped on, one of which was beautiful...much more so then my potential freelancer. This guy was in a flirty mood and was just killing me (more then my ankle) at a probable missed opportunity. Honestly, I am not sure I could have separated him from his friends...and I would need to make sure security took a hard look at his ID...but my ego assures me that I would have had a great time had I been at full fighting strength.

Well, time to board the first of many flights to get me back home. I am scheduled to come back in January, so the depression of leaving is not as great this time. I will try to provide some more updates and stories, but it typically takes me several days to get things caught up at work. I will also have to check my phone and see if their are any worthwhile and/or appropriate photos that I can upload.

Cheers.

Great to see you had such a good time anonone.  Hope you do manage to post more.

The boyfriend thing is weird and wonderful. When I first started visiting Thailand I could never see me going down that road, in fact for the first 7-8 years of visiting.....a boyfriend was the very last thing on the agenda. But when I did bump into my now boyfriend that-was-that! nearly a year of getting to know him during my fairly brief visits to Issan as part of my Thailand trips, then we just settled into each other, that was 8 years ago.

I packed a lot into those years before I settled with my bf and escaped with very little 'scars' to show for it even after playing the field the whole time with occasional giks/favourites here and there but no ties to anyone. You do well to juggle both, I don't off guys on my trips nowadays, bfs 'demands' keep me well satisfied with the only allowance we make for each other is occasional massages with mechanical happy ending. No giks, no one night stands and I don't really miss it, I can interact/flirt/banter with boys in the bars and clubs and still enjoy that part of the Pattaya trip.

Like you, I can never find time during my visits to update a daily forum trip report, don't know how the guys who do, manage it! I don't always do a trip report as much of my itinerary is repeat, but do try to update info where I can for others who make the effort to post their's.

Have considered a condo in Jomtien many times, and I do sometimes/usually have 2-3 nights at the start of a trip there, but stay at East Suites hotel. It's the transport to and from Sth Pattaya which always puts me off, that and the fact we are very happy at Mosaik Apts. Most of our activity is in Sth Pattaya, me in virtually every early evening in sunee, and most nights in BT sois, clubs NAB/TamNanIssan etc.. which are all easily accessible from Sth Pattaya as well as Wat Chai for late night food, and as I travel around the Kingdom for 2/3rd's of a trip I like to have compact surroundings of South Pattaya for the 10 days or so we are in Pattaya.

Unlucky trip for you on 2nd Rd, could have been worse though! I have had one full-on motorbike accident on a late night motocy trip along soi bokow on way back from late night club, and felt very lucky to escape injury, but have managed to elude all the Pattaya pavement/soi traps awaiting........despite some very worse-for-wear states after bar hopping/clubbing! Pure luck!

It's great to book your next trip right after the last, for me anyway that helps makes the time apart from bf a bit easier to put up with. You are there again ahead of me in Jan, I'm next there start/early February for a month.

Thanks for taking time to post, enjoyed the read.

Hey Newalan.

Great post and nice to hear about other BF experiences. At the risk of ruining a tarty reputation, I actually do not hook up with many other guys anymore. During my first couple of Pattaya visits, it was pretty wild. Multiple guys every day and wild times. But anymore, I find time with BF to be much more rewarding. Now, I only play around a couple of times each visit (which BF knows about). It tends to be friends of friends, or someone from TamNam or something similar. I can't really recall the last time I took someone "off" from a bar.

I think I posted about it at the time, but last year I had 2 days in Pattaya on my own while BF had something to take care of at home with his family. At first I was excited and attempted to re-create my hedonistic butterfly days, but I quickly realized that it was just not as much fun anymore.

I had such a revelation this trip as well. It was about 1week into my 2 week visit and BF and I had just woken up and both felt lazy. We stayed in bed for hours just talking, wrestling, cuddling, kissing...you know the drill. It was just a perfect couple of hours of enjoying being with each other.

Anyway, I am at risk of turning this into a tawdry romance novel, so I shall move on...

I think in January we will be staying back in Pattaya some place. The Jomtien condo works really well for us in low season, but the traffic between the two is just too much this time of year.

I kind of abandoned the ankle story-a risk of trying to write up the report while traveling. When I got back to the Condo (sadly, without the lad from the baht bus), BF went into Doctor mode. I submerged the ankle in an ice bath for half an hour or so, which did wonders. Early morning BF was out to the pharmacy for some pain relievers/anti inflammatory pills as well as a miracle cream. By the evening, I was ready for limping back to Sunee for liquid painkillers...and further fun that night.

Once BF determined that no permanent injury was present, he took great delight in telling everyone how I had fallen down. Cheeky bugger. He came up,with many stories, including that it happened while I was dancing at Tam Nam. Now, I admit to being a lousy dancer, but I am not so bad that I trip over my own feet. Anyway, one sidewalk sprain in five years of visits is not too bad, right?

As this was a two week visit, things were definitely more laid back. Several "parties" at various friends...really an excuse to set up a table full of food and drink whiskey. Also was time for a couple of brief visits to Boyztown, which I typically avoid. Can't say there was much to think I am missing out on. We took a friend to see the late show at XBoysLand. Started out ok, big cock parade and the fuck show with peeks under the tarp. But then they hauled some chunky white girl on stage for a couple of the guys to play with her titties in sort of simulated sex act. I assume she was a GF of one of the guys or something as it was obviously a staged, rehearsed scene...but I don't go to see females on the stage so we got the hell out of there. (I have never really minded female customers, but draw the line at them participating in the shows).

We took a late night drink at Serene. As has been reported elsewhere, mainly Russians partying with other Russians. Not really my scene either. I kind of wanted to see the earlier "erotic" show at BBB, but never got around to it. On a separate, solo Boyztown visit, I wanted to check out a couple of the twink gogo bars. Vasa was very much the same, including some of the same staff from years ago. The cute slim guy now has really long hair...not a great look for him, I think. Also checked out DreamBoys, which was fairly impressive staff. Was also surprised to see Thong there as a waiter. (Pock-marked faced guy that has been around forever, including Copa and the last Krazy Dragon incarnation). Some cute guys on stage that I wouldn't mind seeing again. Also stopped in for a quick visit at Cupidol, but nothing stood out too much there. Usual disclaimer that boys could have already been off' or whatever, but I satisfied myself that I wasn't missing out on much by sticking with Sunee Plaza.

Ok, reading back through this I realize it s a lot of rambling, so apologies for that. Trying to stay awake during a layover so I can sleep well on the plane has yielded a not-so-coherent report. Time now to grab a shower before boarding, so you will be spared further stream-of-consciousness drivel.

More to come.

OK  Work back under control, so a bit of time for some quick photo uploads:

Stopping at a road-side shack for food after Tam Nam Isan visit.  Boys like to make their own Som Tam so they can get the flavor the way they like it.

This is the owner of the former Crazy Pub, which is now closed...and I still miss.

Lots of early morning walks on Jomtien Beach.  Vendors getting ready for the day...

Well, not so much left to say I guess.

We did go see the new James Bond movie "Spectre".  What a crapfest.  Horrible movie.  BF went to sleep and I was ready to leave half way through it.  Really a bummer as I usually enjoy Bond flicks...but this one sucked.  I do like the set up at "The Avenue" with the bowling alley next door to the cinema.  We never plan ahead and just show up and look at show times, so it is easy to kill an hour or so bowling while we wait for start time.

Oh, and a funny story about getting a manicure.  BF and I visited Chavarome as usual.  BF goes for Thai massage while I get a foot massage.  I also asked them for a manicure/pedicure as well.  So I am well chilled out getting the foot rub while a cute guy clips away at my fingers.  I am not paying any attention, eyes closed, just relaxing.  I take a peek and dude is applying a very thick layer of nail polish.  :shok:   Not really my style, but was a bit too late to say anything.  Thankfully it was clear and not red or something 555  For the rest of the trip, I had the prettiest, shiny nails of any falang in town.

Can't really think of much else to report.  I did visit a couple of beer bars in Sunee that were not my usuals.  Met a nice young man at All of Me.  Chatted a bit but never really took it any further.  Also spent a bit of time just a couple doors down.  Can't think of the name, but it had masks on the wall...maybe Eden or something?  Got a little naughty with a waiter in the back there.  Thankfully the restroom was really clean.  :spiteful:  He was quite the charmer and if I was single, would certainly be a contender for some long-time fun.

Oh, and I really hadn't mentioned anything about Good Boys.  Met a very sexy guy there on several nights.  Tall, slender with really dark skin and some blonde highlights in the hair.  Definately a straight, but very kind and eager to please. Really nice cock.  Big (not huge), but silky smooth and a joy to jack.  There was another guy there with the biggest afro hair I have seen in a long time.  I was a bit curious about him, but never had the chance to investigate further.

Oh, We did venture down into Jomtien a bit to the Night Market right on beach road.  JT's or something like that. Anyone go there? Good place to pick up food as there are about 25 food stalls with all kinds of stuff.  Sea food, rice and noodle dishes, bbq ribs, and so on.  Easy to get a variety of stuff quick and take back to a room to share.

OK, I think that is all.  Plans finalized for January return.  Staying in Pattaya instead of Jomtien, so traffic shouldn't be such a drag.  Room and plane booked, so all set.

Added:  Never really noticed it while sitting at the table at night, but based on the picture above, Ducs Bar has to have the most ugly table covering of any bar in Sunee.

Spectre is such a let-down. The only decent James Bond movie recently was Skyfall.

Not sure about how recently, but I would rank Casino Royale as good. I had hoped Daniel Craig would really make winner after winner, but not to be.

I must be easy. I loved it . A bit long in the middle but first 20 minutes paid me back.

$750 Million World Wide .  When it came out there were worries about it needing to do $550 Million to break even.

Those fears are long gone and we can be sure there will be another Bond in a couple of years.

Differnt perspectives and likes I guess.  Just like posters that like different types of guys.  :acute:

It will be interesting to see if Daniel is up for another one.  Initial indications were this was his last, but maybe $$ will be convincing.

I did miss Dame Judi Dench in this one.  Big loss.

I consoled myself with the thought that at least I didn't pay crazy US prices to see Spectre.

Me too.

Not one of the best Bond movies IMO.

Not a particular fan of Mr. Craig.

Have no idea who will be the next 007 but hope springs eternal.
