Another beautiful sunny day to start at 830am. I may be quiet for a day or two since I plan on being in repeat mode . Have a couple of boys I need to spend more time with and no one that just can't wait.

It's a beautiful day here in Bangkok also. Firecat I feel I wrote your post for you. I had a good Thursday ,Friday, Saturday. Told my friends last night, I won't see you till Tuesday or Wednesday. I can't do 7 days a week. Age is creeping up.

After having read your current report, I would think that you probably stay in the Jomtien area during your holidays in Pattaya. I normally prefer the Boystown area myself, but have been thinking about trying Jomtien for my next excapade in Thailand. So I wonder if the condo you have chosen for this trip has a gym or a swimming pool. And how much does one pay per month? Is it possible to stay there for only 2 weeks?

Spent good part of day with my favorite this trip . If I was looking for a BF, he would be my choice. But I am not. Speaks pretty good English and looks the way I like Thai Boys to look.

People who don't think these boys have it tough are just nuts. He must pay 250 baht a day for room because he cannot pay 2 months in advance at 3000 per month. In other words he is paying 7500 baht a month for a room that should be 3000. I had a Hilton Hotel in New Orleans on my computer for November and the prices per day were on the screen at $200 per day. He asked me how much that was in baht. I was too embarrassed to tell him. I just said too much.

 

I'll leave it to you to figure out what he left here with. Needless to say he won't have to pay 250 baht a day anymore and I am not the least bit worried that I'll get it back. I told him he only gets 500 every visit until I get my money back and he was very happy. By the time I credit him with extras he will be even long before I leave in 21 days.

 

And over the years I have done that before and was never cheated

Another sunny day and no clouds so it was time to check out the Bars. Keep in mind beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I will try to be fair and compare to my experiences over the last 15 years.

 

Also for new members who have never been here , naturally the Bar scene will be your first experience probably.

 

Because of Willie's report I decided to stop in Cupidol first. 3 customers and sure enough 26 Boys( all on stage). Mamasan M who at one time or another worked at most bars in Pattaya. Previously at Dreamboys and I would have to say he did a much better job stocking that Bar when it re-opened.

 

Boys on stage were about as average looking as you can get and would not even register on my scale compared to the last 2 Boys photos I posted. All I could do to stay 15 minutes and leave tipping 3 of the better looking ones 100 baht each. Soda 170 baht

 

Next stop DreamBoys where I hoped some boys would be there from 6 months ago. Sad to say not the case. 8 Boys , 3 customers . A couple of fair -good looking boys , unfortunately they were the ones with the most tattoos . Again tipped a couple of boys and paid check 160 baht.

 

On to FunnyBoys which for many years was considered the Best GoGo Bar in Pattaya without a show. 6 customers and 8 Boys on stage . For years when Mamasan Rose ran that Bar there would never be less then double that.

 

However the quality took a huge jump from previous 2 Bars . Also there were 4 or 5 guys outside so figure total 12-13 Boys.

 

There were some really good looking Boys here and a couple of them had Hot Gymnast Type Bodies. I seem to remember #6 being mentioned and he had a really nice sculpted body. Under the bright light I would guess him to be about 35 years old. Nothing wrong with that.

 

This Bar has always done a couple of classy things , like cold towels when you enter and peanuts with your drink. Little touches that endear their customers to return. I believe check was still 170 baht and 3 more boys got my donation.

 

Last stop XBoys and Live Sex Show. I only stop here to see the BBoys because of their Brake Dancing. Some Hard cocks, sucking, fucking , shower show etc. Seen it to may times but new visitors I get it .

 

14 Customers , 5 of them women and smoking. Check 260 baht. Tips only to BBoys , I left a bit early.

 

General area of BT continues to deteriorate. Boarded up places etc , restaurants out of business etc.

 

Only the original BT street continues to look decent.

 

So for me after 15 years I am unlikely to be bothered returning this trip as in past trips. I find better looking boys IMHO on social media sites. They come to me , morning , noon and night.

 

I don't drink so I can find no reason to go to the Bars any longer. There are actually other things to do in Pattaya.

 

Again I don't want to dissuade anyone from coming or going to the Bars . For new visitors, you will still get to see things not available in the rest of the world so enjoy until you get tired of it or not?

Just to concur, I've seen the same in Bangkok more than once, guys staying at some kind of guest house paying an inflated daily rate simply because they don't have the money to pay for the deposit plus rent upfront. Tough indeed, and it's nice that you could work something out for him. And wow, gorgeous pics.

I almost wish I was planning to spend more time in Thailand on my next trip, but Laos and Cambodia will still be interesting I'm sure. :-) I need to win the lottery so I can retire.

For sure he will keep his side of bargain, steady income of 500 every day or even every second day is nothing to sneeze at.

 

I too learned that on second and subsequent off boys can be trusted, quite a few times I paid them  agreed fee in the beginning just to see what happens and  never had any problems with underperforming or leaving early which I hate. Wouldn't try that on first meeting though.

 

I'm sure Budda was busy last night listening to all prayers for well being of such  a generous farang. In low season tips must be even more appreciated  than in high one.

Another Sunny day in Pattaya . Maybe rains are gone. Hot and Humid however. It really is slow here.

 

My baht bus ride home last night I almost missed my stop because it was so fast and I was not paying attention. No traffic on Pattaya 2 Rd at 11pm. Was same opposite direction on Beach Rd at 8pm although not quite as fast.

 

Slowest I have ever seen it. Weekends are always busier because of the Bangkok visitors.

 

New boy coming at 9pm if he actually shows . Just hope he looks like the photo. Love that tattoo! and the body it is on. hehe

He sent me photos of his new room that was quite nice for the money and hopefully he will continue to be there. I know he has got a flood of interest since he put my photos of him on his profile.

 

Hopefully this will result in him making money as the season progresses to more customers.

 

I could care less about getting the money back and I'm pretty sure he knew that.

 

Some are worth a little boost although lucky for him , I did it before the latest dive in the Stock Market .HeHe

Tan-Suphan2005 on Planetromeo is the boy I gave rent money too and helped him put better photos in his ad which I was sure would result in more interest since the photos he had were dark and not very appealing.

 

Turns out he got a quite a few messages. I have not seen him since because I know he wants to try to repay me by taking less and I figured new customers are what he needs.

 

I asked him this morning if he had new customers from photos and he said no. They offer him 400 ST, 700 all night etc. I told him to come see me.

 

Fucking cheap pricks, he showed me messages. They should not be allowed in the country. They spend thousands to travel here and then try to cheat the boys out of a fair amount and take advantage of the very slow season.

 

I recognize there are some retired people here on strict budget and they need to restrict their spending but 400 baht??? They should be ashamed of themselves. And the others should never leave their own disgusting country if they cannot afford to treat the boys fair.

 

He did have a couple of messages from customers who are coming in the next few weeks and offered the proper amounts. Hopefully that will happen and as more customers arrive they will be better ones.

 

Disgusted beyond belief today and if anyone does not agree with me don't post because there is no telling what I will say!!

Cheep pricks indeed, these are the real cheep Charlie's who give the genuine budget travelers a bad name.

 

They demonstrate that they have no respect for the boys and obviously have no self respect if they find it acceptable to exploit people in such a way.

It would only be fair if there existed something like our GayRomeo forum where someone like Tan-Suphan2005 can name and shame them (by posting their denigrating messages along with their profile names). I don't think it's practical or even helpful, it just seems unfair to me that clients have a forum to vent about "duds" or "thieves" while those preying on the boys' desperation don't need to fear a similar public shaming.

 

That said, I'm pretty sure that your pics will help him in the long run. I think his profile is very attractive now.

Such prices are not unheard of. I had one boy from Saranrom for 300 ST and another one for 800 LT, but in both cases it was the boy's suggestion. And Pattaya expats report 500 ST. But I would not offer such low prices when coming as a tourist.

 

There was one exception: I was not horny, it was late and a cute boy was trying to get my business, so I asked him if he wants to go with me for 500, and he did. But this was mainly to confirm what I have heard (that you can get boy for 500 ST in Pattaya), on all subsequent encounters I tipped him 1000.

 

On the other hand, there are boys who ask for unreasonable amounts. (Personal experience: around 2011 a boy at ICK disco offered me short time for 2500, and around 2013 a boy in G.O.D. asked for 3500 for short time.)

 

I dislike (I hate) haggling over prices, whether for goods or for services, I let the boy make one offer that I either take or leave, or I make an offer (which would be 1000 ST or 1500 LT in the case above) and the boy can either take it or leave it. In most cases we don't talk about prices at all.

 

However if the case quoted is by someone who likes haggling, than I can't see anything indecent, if they arrive at an acceptable fee in the end. It's common practice in SE Asian markets aimed at tourists to ask grossly inflated prices (I bought a souvenir in Bali, haggled down from 10 USD to 1 USD!), here it's the other way round.

 

It all depends on the circumstances.
