Finally Gay Dance Club

For those younger ones that like to "jive and thrust" to club dance tunes, there is MAYA located off Walking Street (the soi across from Climax bar) in a hallway on the second floor- (look for sign). I think it is the only gay dance place in Pattaya. The tunes are club mixes- great sound system...it doesn't get going until after 2am.

There were comments about the place a few months ago on a couple threads on this or another board - (have done a search but can't find the reference to them).

 

One was about the place 'padding' the bar bills and the advice was to pay for each drink as you buy it.

 

A second thread was about fire hazards and the single exit from MAYA down a narrow flight of stairs. All the other possible exits were said to be chained/padlocked shut.

Not correct that Maya is the only Gay Dance club in Pattaya.

 

Butterfly Karaoke - Dance Club is the other alternative. Located near Hollywood in Soi Day - Night One, Butterfly starts the evening with a lighter mood of Karaoke and then after 2 am the pace changes into the Disco Dance Club theme, returning to Karaoke after 4 or 5 am.

 

Butterfly is the intimate Club with a very good selection of Boys / Waiters etc.

 

Butterfly does not load the bills and is probably the most reliable Karaoke Dance Club in Pattaya. Bills are placed on your table as your orders are delivered so you can see and check everything that's being charged. No outragous priced here.
