Suitable places to stay in Santo Domingo

I think most old timers in Santo Domingo have their favorite places to stay that are friendly, allow guests and are reasonably priced and safe. I thought we might create a place new people could search. I have frequently mentioned the Palacio on Duarte. It can be pricey if you took search for a good rate. There is a new place calle 454 suites, bookable on Airbnb, that is a block from Pacos and right on Independencia ( next to Dumbos ) has anyone been there, have any experiences.? -
For my next trip to LOS, in October/November, I'm thinking of wandering a bit further than my usual haunts of Pattaya and Bangkok. I'm currently thinking of spending a couple of weeks in Chiang Mai. Anyone with experience there, can you recommend gay friendly hotels or resorts? Also, is two weeks too much? Would appreciate any recent experiences. Thanks.

Hello everyone, I am very sorry because my english is very bad^^. I will go in Thailand for the first time in a few months and I would like to have some advices to organize my trip. I am going to Thailand for the gay sex tourism so I thought to go one week in Pattaya and one week in bankok. First, I am wondering if I must rent an hotel room in advance or if there are always available rooms so I don't need to rent à room in advance ? Next, I would like an hôtel room near the gay quarter of Pattaya and Bankok and I will be very happy if you tell me some advices about good hotels to have crazy night. Thank you for your help.

Hi guys ! I Am heading to Thailand for the first time for two weeks (last week of April, first of May). I am thinking to stay in Bangkok for a few days, then go to Pattaya for 3 nights and finish the weekend at Koh Panghan for the full moon party. If you have any piece of advice for a gay hotels, gay meeting places, it will be most helpful. If any of you is there for the same period, I would be happy to meet you, especially for the full month party or to share a bungalow in Koh Panghan. In addition, any tip on how to act in a gobo bar ? Thx

***Ark Hotel & Bar*** It's establishment is locate in the heart of Chaweng beach one of the most popular place on the island. From there you can find everything you will need from attraction to the hot tropical weather and shiny sun, be careful to wear hat on the when the sun is out since you're on the island it will be affecting your head, like it happened to me. I had this terrible sun burn on the top of my head, I did not feel so good for a couple days but after it was all rite, me and my boy decided that because I did not feel so good that we where gone a stay at the hotel and enjoy our time around the pool under the shade, this was probably one of best idea that we had during this entire trip. As many of you could see from many post my previous post. It was one of my best our genius idea. This place was amazing, I just had a great time doing party around the pool with the sea view. Over there you could find many bar, the service was great, for me my favorite spot on the place was at the bar in the pool, because of the bar was under shade and I always love these kind of bar when you're too drunk just put your hand in the water and wake up! And get more to drink. I'm sure the owner was thinking about that when he decided to build this bar, it was a good idea to do so! We stay there during the weekend it's the best time to go there because as we all know weekend it's the best time to pickup some guy's… But you got to be careful because it's a mix of strait, couple and also gay we found a few bisexual… Me and my boy we had a really good time party all day's of the weekend and sex all night. It was great this is what I got a say!! One of the best part was that your room can't be rite next to pool if you select the room on the first floor. Get the corner rooms that have a small verandah and sit out. Remember not to leave your towels outside... Because I had mind stole that day's and it was not hotel towels. There will provide you also Wi-Fi and it's reasonably good connection and the rooms were nice for me… The rooms were enjoyable, nothing special, but for the rate on offer it was great value. The Food was mostly good and fresh, you could eat the food any where you wham on the establishment. Great service but as we all know if we live in Thailand, we find out that thai are good for service as long as you are polite. I recommend you to stop by this place if you pass by Koh Samiu, as long that you like party. If you bean there tell me more about it!!

The Banyan House was very enjoyable it is an incredible discovery for me and my friend felt, My special friend told me that he had a good time and he felt totally relax at this bed and breakfast. It is located in a quieter part of the island and for sure you will need to rent a bike like we did. Because there is no place around their establishment to go eat in that area. But do not hold that again them because the services, the welcome, the beauty of this establishment and that tropical garden is wort the time for you to stop by this place and enjoy the sun and the nice tropical weather. One of the reason why to rent a bike is get around all the place you probably want to go, you will find your self 10 minutes away in scooter of the island center and the great blue crystal beaches. Don't be afraid of asking Michael some help, He is the English Boss, he will be more then happy to organize everything for you, if you want to acquire a Scooters, make trips to some of the touristic area etc.... Also one of the service there will have for you is bakery/cafe exist on the place. You can taste the excellent Michael's cheesecake and there are hand made, The traditional Fish and chips as most English man will probably enjoy etc... For sure I will be back in a near future even if I don't leave there I will stop just to say hello to the owner and staff with a nice and warm cup of coffee. The Tropical Lounge Resort is not a luxury establishment, it will be a Good place to stay for someone that does not lock for inexpensive looking place! It's a quiet place for a good sleep to kick out civilization and At the same time still not too far from chaweng or where ever you want to go pass your vacation, if you need more nightlife just get Tuk Tuk or a motorbike for rent at the reception their will be glad to help you with this issue that you will encounter! The next day if you feel like staying in for the day you could choose to go at the swimming pool you will see that the pool is normally cooler than the ocean, just sit back with a cocktail en enjoy you day at the pool! But make sure when going to this island to take lots and lots of insect repellent with you, because with my owns experience i got crazy bitten by mosquito the whole holiday I was there… Me and the boys I was with for that vacation away from work, we stayed at the Tropical Garden Lounge for 3 nights and were very satisfied relax after this trip! We realy enjoy… Our hut was clean and comfortable with TV, king size bed, much space and open air shower which was a great experience! Location was o.k. if you rent a scooter to get to nicer beaches… Room between 300th to 500th but this depend of the room you get…. Some or for more money… P.s.-Take note that in the bathroom you8 will find sometime you will find Cockroach, but don forget that you are traveling to Thailand… If you don take a FIVE ☆ hotel you have the chance to get this little visitor in to your room…. This mean do not make you chose or say that you dislike this place because OF THIS LITTLE BODY THAT YOU WILL ENCOUNTER in some place that you live.
