I've often wondered why more Brazilian guys with their amazing physiques and sizeable "attributes" don't display their wares on Chaturbate. Today's BBC Brasil (em português) had an extensive article by Leandro Machado and Mariana Alvim about a site called, "Câmera Privê", which they report millions of Brazilian clients visit each day. BBC Brasil compared the site to a kind of "Uber" for online sex. As reported in a prior post in this Forum, after having come within an inch of death, a generous benefactor took over The Rio Times earlier this month. The new owner of the online site, Matthias Camenzind, promised to provide more reporting within Rio de Janeiro and to expand coverage to other cities in Brazil. I was dubious that he would follow through but already there is a significant change in the online newspaper's content. Just in the past two weeks alone, I have noted many more stories about life in Rio de Janeiro, including politics, travel, crime, the economy, shopping, dining, and other subjects of interest to guys on this Forum who travel there. As an example, The Rio Times did cover the story this week, addressed in another post on this Forum, about President Jair Bolsonaro not wanting Brazil to become a "gay tourist paradise". Importantly, new owner Camenzind has, as he promised, expanded coverage to other parts of Brazil, in particular to São Paulo. Whereas the nightlife entertainment column in the past dealt solely with things to do in Rio, the Rio Times each day now includes a nightlife suggestion column for São Paulo. Although one commentator in the previous BoyToy Latin American thread suggested that we all should study Portuguese and read the articles published in online Brazilian news sources, it's not really practical to expect everyone to get a good reading command of Portuguese. Even if you do read Portuguese (and I do), sometimes nuances in meaning aren't readily appreciated. The Rio TImes does a good job of publishing online stories that are clear to understand. I urge everyone with an interest in Brazil to subscribe with the hope that The Rio Times may continue with our support along its current, much improved journalistic path. The maximum dimensions of carry-on bags for domestic flights in Brazil are currently the same as those in the U.S. and other countries. Height: 55 cm (21½ in) Width: 35 cm (13¾ in) Depth: 25 cm (9¾ in) The new information is that, starting on 10 April 2019 and continuing weekly, these limits on hand luggage will be strictly enforced at airports hosting Brazilian domestic flights according to this schedule: 10 April 2019: Juscelino Kubitschek (Brasília/DF) Afonso Pena (Curitiba/PR) Viracopos (Campinas/SP) Aluízio Alves (Natal/RN) 17 April 2019: Confins – Tancredo Neves (Belo Horizonte/MG) Pinto Martins (Fortaleza/CE) Guararapes – Gilberto Freyre (Recife/PE) Luís Eduardo Magalhães (Salvador/BA) Val-de-Cans – Júlio Cezar Ribeiro (Belém/PA) 24 April 2019: Santa Genoveva (Goiânia/GO) Salgado Filho (Porto Alegre/RS) Congonhas (São Paulo/SP) São Paulo International Airport (Guarulhos/SP) Galeão – Tom Jobim (Rio de Janeiro/RJ) Santos Dumont (Rio de Janeiro/RJ) The way this will operate is that measurements of your hand luggage will be taken just before the security X-ray conveyor belt. If your carry-on and/or backpack exceed the limits, you will be asked to return to the back of the (usually long) line of the airline's check-in counter where you will have to pay for the bag(s) as checked luggage. While the cost of checking your carry-on is an annoyance after your bag gets rejected at the security checkpoint, the real issue is that you could easily miss your connecting flight. Although the airlines tout this new enforcement policy as leading to a more efficient boarding process, one can imagine that, as nearly every carry-on bag gets measured, queues will form at the security conveyor belt measuring station, with conflicts erupting among airline employees, passengers, and security personnel as hand luggage gets rejected. The new enforcement policy also indicates that your one allowed personal item (e.g., a backpack) may not exceed the following measurements: Height: 35 cm (13¾ in) Width: 45 cm (17¾ in) Depth: 20 cm (7¾ in) AND it must be able to fit under the seat in front of you. In any event, the new carry-on size enforcement policy is likely to affect many travelers, including road warriors on business trips and those of us currently in the middle of or planning quick trips to Brazil that include domestic flight connections.

Well after 6 years I’m back in Rio and what a 2 weeks it’s been so far. club 117 remains the best the hottest and the horniest spot on the planet I’ve been there 6 nights a week for 2 weeks and wow just wow. It seems that the State Department is getting more aggressive with its alerts, a good thing in my opinion, as one of the functions of a diplomatic mission is to safeguard the interests of its citizens living in or visiting a foreign country.

Questions for a Trip to Brazil Fall 2018 I know various members have provided thoughts in different postings, but not always cohesive nor in agreement. Is it too cold for the beach now? Is it easy to meet new “friends” at the beach, and is it too dangerous to trust such new friends wherever you go to play? At saunas, seems like most programmas are around 100 R$. Is 150R$ reasonable if both of us have a happy ending and maybe have some kink too? For Brazil, do folks use sex hotels rather than pay for play saunas? Are they much more expensive than the costs of a sauna? Maybe less of a bother than to have the boy at a hotel and less of a risk of theft too. I have seen varying recommendations for the best time to head to the saunas. When I am visiting Rio, I typically spend the day on the beach, have a light dinner, then head to the saunas, maybe arriving around 6 or 7 pm. There are often many guys there working at that time, and some of them head out after scoring with a single client., but others will hang around all night and try to hook up with 5 or 6 or more clients. I'm curious what the recommendations of other users are. My experience has shown that there are many factors to consider. One is your own energy level, especially considering your alcohol intake. I am planning a trip to Brazil in the middle of March 2018 (arriving in São Paulo on Saturday morning, departing from Rio on Sunday, 8 days later), and I would appreciate some guidance. Judging from old posts about the best days/times in the saunas, my current plan would be to arrive in São Paulo on Saturday, and travel to Rio on Tuesday morning, so that I was able to make it to 117 on Tuesday night? I will be there from Saturday through the following Sunday, and I can travel from São Paulo to Rio at any point during the week. Does Tuesday sound like a good plan? I have been to Rio before and don't mind waiting if it means I can experience something great in São Paulo. Also, since this will be my first time in São Paulo, what neighborhood should I stay in? I have a week off coming up in a few weeks, and I would like to explore a new destination. I have visited Brazil and Costa Rica and some parts of Mexico (Puerto Vallarta and the northern part of Mexico, never Guadalajara, Mexico City, Merida, or any part of the Yucatan peninsula), but I would like to try a new place that offers cheap flights from the US. So that rules out Brazil and Argentina. I'm amazed how much cheaper it is to fly to some of the other cities like Bogota, Medellin, Cartagena, and Lima ($125-$300 each way, vs. $1000+ to Rio and Buenos Aires). I was planning to go to Cuba, but it is hard to find info about the recovery from their recent hurricane, so I figured it would be best to put it off for a while... I would love to hear any ideas. I am currently a student, so I can't afford anything too extravagant in terms of flight or lodging. I like beaches and cocktails and cute guys. I love Rio because it offers all three, but I'm planning a trip there in the new year, and can't afford to go twice. Thanks in advance for anyone who can offer any advice!
