  1. Hello, I just found and joint this nice forum. I am Indonesian, tanned, not really muscular but fit (regularly hit the gym), and in my early 30 (tho I tend to look younger 😅). As I will be in Bangkok in early August for two weeks, I would like to find my luck to meet White Guys there, hope this forum can be one of the medium. I am open for nsa, one night stand, even making friend is also welcome. Ping me if you are interested Cheers!
  2. US government panel has informed Beijing Kunlun Tech that its ownership of Grindr constitutes a national security risk Reuters Wed 27 Mar 2019 11.36 EDT Chinese gaming company Beijing Kunlun Tech Co Limited is seeking to sell Grindr, the popular gay dating app it has owned since 2016, after a US government national security panel raised concerns about its ownership, according to people familiar with the matter. The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) has informed Kunlun that its ownership of West Hollywood, California-based Grindr constitutes a national security risk, the two sources told Reuters. CFIUS’s specific concerns and whether any attempt was made to mitigate them could not be learned. The United States has been increasingly scrutinizing application developers over the safety of personal data they handle, especially if some of it involves US military or intelligence personnel. Kunlun had said last August it was preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) of Grindr. As a result of CFIUS’ intervention, Kunlun has now shifted its focus to an auction process to sell Grindr outright, given that the IPO would have kept Grindr under Kunlun’s control for a longer period of time, the sources said. Grindr has hired US investment bank Cowen to handle the sale process, and is soliciting acquisition interest from US investment firms, as well as Grindr’s competitors, according to the sources. The development represents a rare, high-profile example of CFIUS undoing an acquisition that has already been completed. Kunlun took over Grindr through two separate deals between 2016 and 2018 without submitting the acquisition for CFIUS review, according to the sources, making it vulnerable to such an intervention. The sources asked not to be identified because the matter is confidential. Kunlun representatives did not respond to requests for comment. Grindr and Cowen declined to comment. A spokesman for the US Department of the Treasury, which chairs CFIUS, said the panel does not comment publicly on individual cases. Grindr, which describes itself as the world’s largest social networking app for gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people, had 27 million users as of 2017. The company collects personal information submitted by its users. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/technology/2019/mar/27/grindr-dating-app-sale-us-security-concerns
  3. sawadee cup everyone, I'm Casper from Hong Kong and I'm looking for a guy called "Lay" We had a chat on Grindr but he didn't login for like about 2 weeks. I really hope that I could find him cause he is my very first Thai friend. If your friend had lost contact with a Hong Kong gay, please tell him that maybe he's the one I'm looking for. Thank you so much everyone, wish all of you could have a happy life and finding your real love.
  4. I know that a number of people on here use Grindr throughout Brazil to source GPs. Unfortunately I've not had a single response since creating my account three days ago! On my profile, I have written descriptions such as: "Generous tourist looking for fun. Turistas generosos que procuram diversão." and even, at the risk of being too obvious: "Looking for GPs. Procurando GPs" ...without any success! So how to get potential GPs to respond to you?

  6. Just seeking some advice about the best apps at the moment. I already have Gayromeo and Hornet. I was debating whether it's worth while downloading another one - I don't want them all but I think perhaps I will try a third. So, for those of you that have them, which is best out of Blued, Jackd or Grindr? I am thinking specifically for meeting Thai guys in Bangkok and Pattaya. Is there one of them which is particularly good for meeting money boys? Just about the apps in general, do people have a feeling that amongst those apps there are some currently on the up in terms of popularity, and maybe one which is on the slide? I get the impression that people think Gayromeo is past its peak, which is a pity as I quite like the layout of that app, ( well, more the layout of the classic version and on a PC). But I'll be interested to hear what people think.
