No. Whether the boy cums or not is of little importance to me, I leave it to him to decide. Usually they do not cum, not even get hard.

I wanted to point out what difference one letter can make, this is actually derived from a joke: Which four letter word ends in "unt" and you can call it a woman?

The soup does not smell foul or durian like, it smells delicious to me.

The distinction between nitrate and nitrite is extremely important, makes a difference like aunt and cunt. I assume someone who wishes to use poppers in Thailand uses them in his home country, so it would be best to bring them from there (so you know what you have, but have to get it onto the plane and through customs). I have seen the adverts on grindr, gayromeo, internet and vaguely recall seeing bottles for sale (I have no interest in poppers, but for research purposes I will take a closer look next time). This stuff (alkyl nitrites) is cheap to produce, there is no reason to stretch it (unless you don't have direct access, as a laboratory chemical it would cost about 50 Euro per liter). It decomposes with time, this process can be slowed down with stabilizers. During my entire time in Thailand, I have not seen anyone use it, nor being offered or asked for it, nor having noticed the smell somewhere.

Thank you for bringing this up, I had a similar thread in mind when I first met the two Madagascan boys in Bangkok in June, but didn't get around to write it up. Good English and nice conversation, indicated mutual sexual interest (with the taller one), but I strongly suspected they are looking for money, so I didn't pursue it. Last year, there was a boy from Botswana who claimed to be a student (but too often in Soi 4 and DJ station for being a student). Again indicated mutual sexual interest, met for dinner, but didn't get into bed. (I shared the story before: after ordering food, he told me forget his wallet and asked if I could pay for him, which I did. Despite him having no money, we then continued to another place - Le Fenix Sukhumvit - to meet with friends of him, where he ordered a bucket of alcoholic drink and got drunk in the course of the evening. As his friends were leaving, I made an exit as well as to not be the last person, so his problems - drunk, no money - do not become my problems. Our paths crossed a few times afterwards, but we didn't get involved sexually.) I like dark skin, and skinny/slim/athletic African boys without body hair are on my wishlist, but didn't have a chance yet.

You are talking about bus 389 aka "sex tourist express"? It stops on Sukhumvit North, Central, South Pattaya (from there about 200 m walk to songtheo that takes you to Tuk Com or second road), and finally goes to bus station near Foodmart in Jomtien (from there about 500 m walk to Jomtien Complex).

Soup with chicken, lemongrass and galangal (similar to ginger). I continue to praise the Tom Kha Gai at the moonhouse: http://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2014/03/words-of-praise-tom-kha-gai-at-moon.html

Unless a boy directly drags me to bed, I always shower before sex or massage. But I prefer the boy does not shower, because I like them warm and dry. I usually shower alone. I like showering together, but most places (my room, showers in massage places) are not that suitable for showering together (space), it's more that one person showers and the other waits. Summary: while in favor of showering together, it rarely materializes.

I have a friend who likes to sniff my armpits and insists I don't shower (or use any cosmetics) the day we meet. But back to the op. I like to sniff Durian and Tom Kha Gai before I eat them.

Vinapu is right, Colmx is wrong. I shave only twice per month, and I do so at home (so I don't have to carry shaver with me on my trips).
-
I take mocy only if unavoidable. My knees are the left- and rightmost points during our ride, and my head is the upmost point. Look at how many boys have scars or fresh wounds on their legs and knees. I avoid travelling during rush hour.
-
That might well be true, I know of two Thai boys in Pattaya who are going to Finland soon (verbal communication, no proof). As for seeing him off at the bus station, I would not break my head thinking why he didn't want you to be there.

I keep some money (300 Baht) separate from my wallet. In case my wallet gets stolen, I still have money to get transport back to my place. I am thinking of using two wallets. One with a few hundred Baht for normal expenses (transport, food), the other one with a few thousand Baht and other stuff (ID, business cards).

I am interested in reading other people's daily expensive, and encourage everyone to post more of it. It shows what a wide range of tastes Thailand can cater to. Hotel rooms from 10 to 1000 USD per night, pick up from airport by your hotel for "only" 3000 THB (sorry, cannot resist), airport limousine to Pattaya or public bus for 134 Baht. I use hotel rooms for the three "S" (sleep, shower, sex), and can get a room that fulfills my requirements for less than 800 Baht in Bangkok (that was two years ago, now I rent by the month, currently 8000 Baht per month), and less than 600 Baht elsewhere in Thailand.

Short trips (a few days around Thailand, even one week in Cambodia because hold luggage would have incurred higher costs at Air Asia), I just take a bag pack, around 5 kg. Travel between Europe and Thailand, one suitcase, 15 to 20 kg.

I really tried to sleep in the prayer room. The light was on all night (can't sleep with light), and even worse I got cold feet (had to take off my shoes), so I went somewhere else (low light, shoes on) to sit and doze. (The Christian (name) - Christian (religion) was a pun, glad you got it.)

Do you tell your folks about vacations in Thailand ?
ChristianPFC replied to vinapu's topic in Gay Thailand
Those who know I'm gay get the truth. Those who don't know I'm gay get the usual sightseeing, weather, food, temples... It's interesting to see their reactions. People who have never been to Thailand and don't know that I'm gay have heard of the sex industry, one commented: "be careful, there are pretty ladies in Thailand" (original in German: Sei vorsichtig, da gibt's flotte Miezen). -
My standards are so low, I have a look at the room (in once case recently I noticed smell of cigarette smoke, so I asked for a non-smoking room) and take it. I plan my travels to arrive in the afternoon with light luggage, so I can walk around in daylight and look for free rooms. Waiting in the airport? Oh yes, I did this once in Paris Orly. Had a morning flight before public transport started, so in order to save estimated 30 to 50 Euro for taxi, I took the last bus and slept at the airport. Fortunately, they didn't kick us (there were more) out, because the airport is closed at night. This raises the question: is it appropriate for a Christian who is not Christian to sleep in the Muslim prayer room? I often drive past Nasa Vegas. It has direct connection to Ramkhamhaeng station, but there are no trains at night.

I don't pick any accommodation from internet. I haven't booked a hotel for two years, only walk-in. Did some preparatory reading for Phom Penh and Siem Reap, but preferences are price and location, not others' comments.

Temporarily or permanently? I am all in favor of closing some bars during low season (in this case easy because they have the same owner), so other bars have more staff and more customers.

Off topic. I had to look up the past participle of scar (scarred) not to confuse it with scare (scared), but in this case both apply (now I am scared of encountering more un-offable boys, which I will only learn when I want to off them, no mamasan will tell me when I enter the bar which boys are un-offable). This provides as well a lesson in English phonetics: the final (mute) e in scare changes the pronunciation of the a that is two positions before it (scar-scare, similar not-note, hid-hide, more examples?). Not much different from Thai where vowels are writen after, before, above, below or around the consonant they belong to. In English there are 17 ways (or some more or less, depending on dialect) to pronounce "ough", and in Thai there are 17 ways to write a final "t" sound. This shall serve as an encouragement to learn Thai: If can speak English, you can learn Thai!

Not a loss of face in the bar, but on the boards (but it was my choice to write about this episode, to warn others). Everyone is laughing at me because a boy doesn't want to go with me. (I made this up, my sense of humor.) This episode has scarred me for life. I can never again go into a gogo or host bar and expect everyone on stage being available, as I did before.
-
No. You were just asking about active, let me extend my reply that I use condoms for all kinds of anal intercourse. (And let me add that asking about barebacking is good for trolling.)

Is the nationality important? For the average tourist, no; for me, yes. If my Thai is better than the boy's English, I switch to Thai. Many foreign boys speak good Thai, and I can't hear where they come from, so I wouldn't notice. But if I ask them to spell their name in Thai, or which province, and then which amphoe, they come from, I realize they are not Thai. After one Vietnamese boy in a gogo bar in Soi Twilight who wanted 2000 Baht for short time three years ago, and the non-offable boy in Scorpion, I am wary of Vietnamese money boys (just bad luck that I had two out of two bad experiences with Vietnamese, no generalization; a friend offed boys from Scorpion and was happy with them; Cambodians and Lao everything was fine for me). Walked past Scorpion yesterday, over ten boys, several good looking, but with Byzantine offing procedure and short time tips as high as 3000 Baht expected (second hand information), they completely lost me. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. As far as I figured out (with help of friends), the boy who didn't want to go with me seems to be selective in choosing customers, doesn't want short time for 1500 Baht, rather someone who regularly sends money from abroad and buys mobile phone; and he has correctly assessed that I am not the one. This whole episode was a big loss of face for me (to speak in Thai terms; in English we would say they fooled me, or pulled my leg, or have shown total disrespect for me as a customer). I can watch, but not touch? I can have that in my room, with free porn from internet!

I assume you mean sex. Massage. There is Bamboo bar in Jomtien which is open in the early afternoon. Gayromeo and Grindr. Sansuk Sauna gets busy in the evening.
