https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palad_khik I recently saw some with multiple heads at Klong Toey market (if someone tells me how to upload picture directly from my computer, I will post it).

And there is a train (to Aranyaprathet, but then taxi does only take you to the border crossing as well) which costs 48 Baht (no mistake!) however it has no aircon and takes a few hours longer. People like you and firecat who know about the taxi mafia, but still use taxi who don't use the meter, are part of the problem. Absolutely! A rule of thumb: a taxi standing in a tourist area or in front of a hotel/restaurant is generally trying to overcharge you. An exception I found is the corner Silom/Saladaeng, where standing taxis always switch on the meter without me prompting to do so, whereas across the road (Silom in front of Soi 2), they usually ask for 100 Baht to go to Malaysia hotel area. It has to do with how you behave as well. When I see tourists in group discussing with a driver, and showing maps or printouts or mobile phone screen, I know they are going to be overcharged. In fact, if time and place permits, I eavesdrop because it's entertaining. I just get in (front seat for better view; most people prefer back seat) and state my destination.

99% of my taxi experiences are positive. But I speak Thai with them, so they know I know prices and locations (looking back, in the last fours years it was that I give directions to a place, instead of asking the taxi driver to take me to a place whose exact location I don't know). I had even some trips where driver took me to main road for free at end of shift. By taxi mafia I mean taxis who refuse to use the meter (usually they ask for twice the meter fare, the few times per year I check to confirm that standing taxis in Silom and Surawong refuse to use the meter). This practice deprives honest drivers of their fare and delays traffic as they block one lane, forcing customers to hail a taxi on second lane, then road is fully blocked. One could argue that they save energy by not driving, but they have their engine running for aircon. I think one of the new taxi services has taxis parked in certain locations instead of roaming around. Side note: when possible, I ask taxi driver "Where do you go when you have no customer?" and will make a statistic some time. Responses so far inconsistent. No matter where and how much, I refuse and advise everyone else to do so as well. Honest taxi driver is just around the corner. I had two trips with flat fare: on my first time in Thailand (ignorance) and on Songkran 2013 with a drunken boy in tow (poor planning on my part, special circumstances).

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver - Thailand HITLER
ChristianPFC replied to a topic in Gay Thailand
These helmets are Wehrmacht (German army during WW2). -
And he did! We met again on his return and he gave me details. I did when I was living in Paris. Flight was in the morning before public transport started, so I took last bus to airport and spend night there instead of taking taxi in the morning. I do. The point is there is no other option than flying (boat or train/bus/car would be too slow), but there are options to get from the airport to your hotel. You should get a medal for your support of taxi mafia!

Either those boys you meet are among the few who really are into Farang or they have a hidden agenda. Just have a look into a Thai for Thai gay sauna or disco, and you will see that is not true. I have met a few Thai boys who are into Farang but not into Thai, this might apply to 5% of gay Thai boys.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver - Thailand HITLER

Thank you very much for sharing. "KFC calls Hitler fried chicken extremely distasteful" made my day! Hilarious! Overall a funny and well researched show. The op is correct, on the truck is a nazi symbol, not a buddhist symbol. I have a large collection of pictures I took of nazi symbols used for fashion in Thailand and will post some day on my blog (to cover the entire subject, I need three posts, hence long preparation). -
It's not just you.

First you need a smart phone, and second two SIM slots if you want to you use both cards (one for internet, one for phone calls; however you can get both in one). I use internet on my mobile, there are so many calling plans, I pay about 300 Baht per month (pre-paid) and don't even know which calling plan I'm in and wouldn't be able to give directions how to set it up (just ask at a shop, find one with staff who speak English).

I have no experience with torrents, it could well be that the .exe is legitimate. But nonetheless, I am wary of websites that want me to install a program or download anything else then the movie I want to see or want my credit card information for free membership registration, hence I prefer youtube.
-
That site wants me to download an .exe first and install a download mangager. I didn't, I searched on youtube where you can watch without the hassle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWle__LCfOM Thank you for bringing this to my attention! (to moderators: double post should be removed and thread moved to gay world)

Assuming you want to take the one or other boy to your room, stay in South Pattaya in a hotel in walking distance to Sunee or Boyztown. Ride to Jomtien is about 10 minutes without traffic, but it can take over 30 minutes when there is traffic jam. In 2013, I was staying in Jomtien repeatedly, until I was caught in a traffic jam around 8 pm (a time where I would want to be in a bar), and then had to wait in rain to get songtheo back to Jomtien at 2 am (a time where I would want to be in bed).

do you like the writing style in the bangkokbois blog
ChristianPFC replied to bkkguy's topic in The Beer Bar
That is very unfortunate. As far as I know, it's hosted on sawatdeenetwork. (Whereas gayboythailand went offline because the owner didn't pay hosting fees any more.) Now I have no access to pictures of Noom (he would be the person I would ask about bangkokbois' disappearance, according to his blog Noom is in email contact with his friends, so he should know what happened). -
With places like V-Club and The Prince, who advertise having models working there, you have to consider that there will be high prices and attitude (no personal experience with these two places). I prefer to select boys from those being present, best if they are sitting outside so I can make choice while walking past (or at maximum stopping while walking past).

There is still porn on sale in Silom, but as far as I remember it's mainly whites. In saunas as well, they play predominantly white porn. Next time ask at one of the stalls if they have Asian.

Vinapu, can you elaborate on Shape Spa? It's next to Phoenix sauna (former EDOK), but I never went (Shape Spa; I went to sauna many times). Last week there was a cute boy shirtless in towel at reception of Shape Spa, I just had to go in and ask a few stupid question (to get a closer look), but he doesn't work there, he is the son of the owner. For first sauna experience, you can't go wrong with Babylon and it's well known and easy to reach (from Silom/Sathorn; let me know where you stay and maybe I can suggest something closer).
-
Can you elaborate on action at Tesco On Nut please? My experiences with toilet cruising are rather disencouraging. I got to five toilets (not for peeing, but to check if there is activity) and spot one other person cruising, and so far none of them my type.

There are a lot of massage and gogo reports on this forum, but few about saunas. But I think a gay sauna is the best place to start for the following reasons: you can freely wander around and look at dozens of other men (usually in tower or underwear, nude only on nude days) without commitment, and have a few gropes in darkrooms. Whereas in massage you choose your masseur and then you go to room, and then you're stuck. In bar you order drink and sit and look at boys, and that's it. If you have never had gay sex before and are not accustomed to male nudity in real life, I recommend sauna over everything else to start with. You might even get sex for free (wheres gogo and massage is prostitution). In addition, entry to sauna is far cheaper than massage, and cheaper than drinks in gogo (and you don't have to fend off mamasans or pushy boys). Once you are comfortable with male nudity, move on to gogo and massage.
-
Did you consider disco? In discos aimed at locals, there are often birthday parties (announcement by MC, birthday cake, singing), and if they have coyote boys, you can watch them (instead of gogo boys).
-
Can you both elaborate on your 7/11 guys? There is one near where I live, I could easily find out when he works (just take note every time I pass and assemble his work schedule), but then I would have to get to his counter and talk to him while other customers are waiting and pass my phone number?

The only sleaze bars in Bangkok are Nature Boys and Super A (recent experiences). Nature Boys can seat about 5 customers and there might be as little as 2 boys and up to 5 boys. Super A has 10-15 boys on average. Nearby Golden Cock has boys fully dressed, not interesting for me. About Soi Twilight bars, recent visits to some of them were largely a disappointment (details see my blog). If you spend time in Pattaya, I would say it's not worth going to bars in Bangkok. (I live in Bangkok and go to Pattaya to visit bars!). No fuck shows at the moment (doesn't interest me anyway, but the drink price is the same), foreign boys in jeans or fully dressed (a big turn off for me). If you go to a bar in Twilight, take a good look before sitting down and ordering a drink. (I can't comment on Dream Boys, Jupiter, Tawan as I haven't been for years as they are too expensive or not my style.) Granted, it's low season both in Bangkok and Pattaya, but at least prices are reasonable in Pattaya. I noticed that plenty of boys (among them some cute massage and Vietnamese boys) spend time at the pool tables on the ground floor under X-Size. Can't blame them when business is slow, but neither they nor their bar will get business from me when they are at the pool tables. DJ station on Fri and Sat night (there is a show 11:30 to 12:00, ladyboy lipsync, as far as I remember) is crowded. Difficult to move around, I avoid these days. GOD (now G Bangkok) is a horrible place. Expensive entry (300 Baht), and smoking inside and crowded. I have been to Thai style discos as a single customer many times (Wave, App Arena, G-Star, Fake, details in my blog). They would be perfect on a Sat (full but not crowded, coyote boy and other show). "Best news is that apparently Golden Cock opens up in the afternoon, so that will probably be my first stop." Kind of. They have some live-in boys who they will wake up if a customer comes in the afternoon. "Hands on fun also to be had at Super A and Screw Boys." Super A definitely, but Screw Boys is normal operation, I haven't witnessed any sleaze in 4 visits over the last 18 months. Have you thought of saunas? There is Farose 2 in Ramkhamhaeng (on the way to airport, so you could take all your luggage and depart directly from the sauna) which has not the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance, but is quite an experience, and should be busy on Sat to Sun night midnight, with group activity in darkrooms.

...almost stepped on the giant monitor lizard crossing the walkway. We were both scarred for a few seconds. You (both) were scared, not scarred. Mirrors in massage room (Senso) is a good idea. I remember mirrors only from (forgot the name at that time - 2012 (?) - now JJ massage (?) in Silom Soi 1 (? - the short dead end soi). Most short time hotels have mirrors, unfortunately I am shortsighted, so I have to use my glasses to see the mirror image clearly.

Two phones would be difficult to keep apart, especially since the boyfriend would have to be aware of your spy app and would have to use the spied-upon mobile in an innocent, but realistic way. How did you get access to his phone and how do you understand messages in Thai?

I have read about such apps elsewhere and know there are detectives who check on Thai girls while their foreign boyfriend is abroad. But if you have to resort to such means because you don't trust your partner or begrudge him extramarital (here applied to relationship without marriage) sex (are you faithfull during your absence?), then there must be something fundamentally wrong with you. Skip the app and try a chastity belt! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chastity_belt
