  1. I went to the floating market once, it's an awful tourist trap. But fireflies are interesting, might go again for these.
  2. Beware! Many of them are just trying to sell video clips or cam sex. Nonetheless, interesting if you can read Thai.

Minimum tip is an asymmetry: the boy knows what he gets, the customer does not know what he gets. For that reason, I largely avoid places that have a minimum tip stated. In gay massage places with no minimum tip stated, I had several massages that were so-so, and the boy's idea of a happy ending was very different from mine, so I did just massage and no happy ending and tipped accordingly (that is 300 THB for massage). (Minimum tip a bit of reminds me of a now closed short-lived gogo or host bar in basement of Wall Street Tower diagonally opposite Soi Twilight across Surawong, who would not let me have a look inside without buying a drink first. I refused. Later I learned, that they were low on boys. And I would certainly not pay for a drink to look at less than 10 boys. Exception is Super A, but at 100 THB per drink you can't go wrong.)
  4. There is no Chinese space station, at that point in the text I started to wonder and then looked at the date. However the Russian space station Mir was abandoned some years (many years?) ago and fell down to earth.
  5. I haven't been and I don't know the place. That information might be wrong or outdated many years. The only remaining gay sauna in Pattaya is Sansuk, to the best of my knowledge.
  6. I find it convenient that baht-buses stop anywhere a passenger wants to get on or off. I'm quite happy with the baht-bus system in Pattaya. It has served me well over the years and 10 THB per ride is cheap, compared with Bangkok (from 7 THB), Chiang Mai (30 THB! Outrageous) and Phuket (I have no numbers but expect similar outrageous fares). All I can wish for is a bit more frequent on North Pattaya road. When coming by bus, I ignore those standing offering ride to Walking Street for 50 THB, but walk across North Pattaya road and have to wait on average 5 minutes until one comes and stops, to take me to Walking street for 10 THB.
  7. What exactly does the police do when they find Vietnamese boys working? (I assume they all have a valid visa, the problem is just working without work permit.)

    Asia Guys Blog

What are your objectives with this website? Do you have original content? Is that original content based on traveling or just pornographic fantasy?
  9. Deja vu all over again. I believe it when I'm riding in the train. Where would the train from Don Mueang to Suavarnabhumi go? Underground seems the only option, everything else would cause traffic chaos (like the extension of BTS).
  10. I have been to Chakran Sauna twice last year and found the facilities ok, but overpriced and the type of boy not what I'm looking for. During those visits I had a look at the massage boys (who spend their spare time in the sauna area), and they looked ok to me, I would have taken the one or other for free. Your whole report shows: it all depends on the boy. That's why I go to low or mid market place, chances to find someone good there are the same as in high-so places (judging by reports, I have not been to high-so places). Attitude and overpricing are a total turn-off for me, a friend once reported the manager of Prince pointed out a boy "he has big cock, minimum tip 1500 fro 60 min massage" which put an end to my vague plan to visit Prince. But the interesting thing is there seems to be a market for high-price places with management problems (A booked boy does not show up for work? Outrageous!) and poor skills. Is it just to be seen or being able to talk about high-so places, or do some people get off by throwing money around? And with minimum tip stated, there is no way out. When no minimum tip is stated, I sometimes leave it at massage and no happy ending. Like the one in Pattaya who did massage fully dressed, and towards the end, out of reach of my hands, asked me if I want a hand job. No thanks! I can do that alone. He got 300 THB tip for the massage. All but one of my massages are 60 minutes oil. One boy I took several times for 60 minutes oil over the year because he was so good at massage and happy ending (But not so much my type, why can't I have everything in one?), when I took him for 90 minutes it was just average.
  11. From an architectural point of view, I'm looking forward for that temple being completed.
  12. I would do so on my mobile phone. For me as well, posts on my blog can serve to look up details I forgot. Regular versus new boy. It's imperative to test new boys, as regulars might be not available (back home or stopped working that kind of trade) or disappear (or rather I'm unable to contact the boy), or become boring or greedy or develop character flaws. Therefore, it's advisable to have a harem of regulars, and try new boys. For me the ratio is about one regular to one new boy.
  13. I have regulars in Pattaya gogo bars, but not in Bangkok (too expensive). So when I go to Pattaya for 2 nights, from my pool of regulars I could have one at night, one in the morning, one at night, one in the morning. I wouldn't have to set foot in any bar. But where would be the fun of the hunt? I call it "the lure of the gogo". So in one such trip I usually meet one regular and one new boy. I make detours to avoid being seen by regulars with a new boy, but probably word will spread nonetheless. Anyway, it's my money. Any of my regulars is welcome to have sex with for free at any reasonable place and time of his choice. But I invite all my regular to come to see me in Bangkok when they have business in Bangkok. Here I don't have that dilemma which boy to choose.
  14. There is no stand-alone sauna that I'm aware of in Pattaya. (Bigger hotels might have a sauna for their customers, maybe open for users from outside who don't stay at the hotel, that's why I use "stand-alone".) I was quite happy with the customer base in Sansuk during my few visits over the last years. For saunas frequented by locals, go to Bangkok. There are over 20. For details see my blog.
  15. ...has now been laid and... (I make no excuses for pointing out typos or grammar mistakes.) If you want to know more, read here: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/grammar/british-grammar/lay-or-lie You all have sharp eyes. All I can see in the picture, is "male, shirtless, age between 20 and 50".
  16. That alone is a reason to boycott a certain bar. When I go to a bar, I want to be able to take whomever I want, that's why it's called a brothel. If I want to look a boys I can't have, I do so for free, in the comfort of my home, at a time of my choice, on the internet. If I'm looking to have sex with someone who likes me in return, I do so on the apps. I can't judge about the looks and performance of the boys in Dreamboys since my last visit was in 2013 (?), but my theory is that I can get good looking and good performing boys at 1/3 of the price in Pattaya, and there I don't have to wonder if the boy will have attitude. Nonetheless the owner/manager can be congratulated for running a successful bar, and can try to squeeze out every last satang from his customers, but I won't be one of them.
  17. This thread is not to be confused with The Prince Massage in Suan Phlu. Prince Rama is in Bangrak, not China Town. In August 2017, it was a construction side: http://christianpfc.blogspot.tw/2017/11/abandoned-cinemas-3.html On the subject of gay/porn/sex cinemas, the Laem Thong in Rama 4 near Klong Toey market has been demolished last month. State cinema in Samrong is closed (and nearby Safe House sauna as well). Now there are only 3 left: Chinatown Rama, Hawaii (near Wongwian Yai) and Phahon Theater in Saphan Khwai. I was not aware that Time Out Bangkok is a free magazine, where can I get it? Former gay venues remaining vacant. Indeed, Seed in Ramkhamhaeng Soi 53 has been empty since they closed in 2015 (?), Vincent's in Soi Ngam Duplee since they closed in 2015 (?).
  18. This would be a horrible start of a trip for me, and only if such a flight is significantly cheaper than a flight at a godly hour I would take it. Only once did I have to go through such an ordeal: When I had an early morning flight from Paris to Bangkok, I realized that I would not be able to reach the airport at such an early hour by public transport (and wouldn't want to spend money on a taxi in Paris). So I checked if the airport is open over night, and took the last bus and tried to sleep on the airport. (Question to native speaker: do you say "godly hour" as opposite of "ungodly hour"?)
  19. Why do you request the newest 1000 THB banknotes?
  20. From a large sampling of Khmer and Myanmar boys, both free and paid, they are better than the Thai (in all aspects: English, sex, attitude, character). A huge sampling of Thai boys, free and paid, serves as average. A small sampling of Vietnamese boys was sub-par, so I don't take Vietnamese boys any more (has been discussed in detail elsewhere). However this is biased: those boys from neighboring countries who come to Thailand are the mentally and physically above the average of their country, whereas in Thailand I speak Thai and get into contact with every village idiot, who wouldn't find the way from one end of the village to the other.
  21. "left us physically" nice way to to put it. "May his sole rest in piece" as he would have spelled it.
  22. When I first came to Thailand in 2009, I was looking for long time, but that has changed over the years. Having lived alone for 10 years, I will not compromise on anything (sleep-wake pattern, temperature, light in room). Nowadays I don't discuss ST or LT (I don't talk about tip and expectations either), just see how it goes, and only if the boy asks to stay over night, and I'm in the mood, I let him stay. Last case I had everything was fine with the boy, but I had an appointment with Farang friend for disco later, so I had to send the boy away (in disco I would look for free encounters, so inviting a boy whom I offed in a bar to join disco would be counter-productive).
  23. Interesting how people react differently to requests for tips. As long as they don't block the view to stage, it doesn't affect me at all. I rather see it as a contest who is more persistent, and I always win! One time when there is nothing interesting on stage, I might even elaborate to staff how many meals I could have, how far I could travel by bus or train, how many nights I could stay in a basic hotel, for the price of the drink in the bar.
  24. Blast from the past. HeyGay, better known as LMTU, is not here any more (I don't mean he is banned, I mean he is dead). But he was fun, on the forums and in live, while he was alive.
  25. http://www.musicmassage.net/index.php?topic=4548.0 This is promising. Not so much my type, but maybe he makes up for this with skills?
