Your experience did make me laugh FH. I suppose we have all had something similar. Although one time, not in CM, I booked a two hour massage which was wonderful and satisfied all my physical needs and still 30 minutes left on the clock. I was ready to leave but the masseur said "you have 30 minutes more" ! Money well spent.

Actually "it" was on the small size. From my research the Emperor Hadrian had numerous statues of Antinous commissioned and placed in public places in memory of his beloved. These statues were meant to be an accurate likeness of Antinous including his curly hair and small member. He died of drowning in the Nile when he was only 19 yo. Maybe he would fit the category of "male twink"?

Booking an award ticket can be maddening. As Thaiworthy said, book well in advance at least 8 months. I did recently get a Business Class (NYC -BKK) seat for 120,000 miles but had to book 8 + months in advance. This causes problems for the return flight since that can only be booked no more then 11 months in advance. So the window of time in Thailand is less than 3 months.

Well, here is something set in stone and gender identification is not an issue. This is Antinous, the beloved of the Roman Emperor Hadrian. Maybe a bit femme?
-
After thinking about it, I agree, gay or straight just confuses the issue as to what attracts people.

For me, they give me the creeps especially in a lady boy bar. The one time I did go to a LB bar was the one in Pattaya near Sunee Plaza on Soi VC; cant recall the name. At one go-go club a LB waiter does sit and chat me up; hard to believe he was once a boy who I entertained in my room. On the other hand the bf does seem to like them, but he is a straight arrow. Anyone remember Straight Arrow?

I did click on two types I like but no mention of gay boys or straight boys so that is a factor for me. Thus I also voted for other.

That must have been written by the previous owner, whoever he was.

I recently returned from a two month visit in Thailand and the forums do provide an outlet from the humdrum here in H'town. When in Thailand every night is a night out with friends and my bf for pleasure of some sort; the only limiting factor is money, money, money.

Are you sure of those fares? Best premium economy fares I saw on EVA from SFO to BKK were about $1700 USD

As I sit alone in my room back home, in a locale where the first four letters are HELL and the last four letters are TOWN, I dream of sitting at Good Boys, in the Plaza, with a beer in one hand and a, well you know, in the other hand. But sitting with my farang friends in an outdoor bar would also bring contentment.

Will the usual suspects please stand up and speak up. "the usual suspects" Captain Louis Renault, Casablanca

Same as I; one drink of water and then alcohol the rest of the night. What vile stuff, little wonder Jesus turned it into wine.

For me, every night is a social event or occasion when visiting. Can't imagine sitting in my room watching TV or otherwise at night. It is boring enough during the day. But I am not an expat so I make hay while the sun shines, you could say.

I do know two expats in Thailand who are looking for professional employment and have passed on the link to this thread to them. Just possibly there may be a match.

Why did I think citycolor was asking about level of proficieny in the bed? Pillow talk!

For me the new management of this forum is a welcome improvement from the past where posters were intimidated by the heavy handed moderating style.

Yes a special with 70% bonus. Sometimes Delta even offers a 100% bonus. The 70% bonus special ended on 31 March. I suppose they needed some quick cash?
-
All that glitters is not gold with Delta! But recently purchased 60K miles + 45K bonus miles = 105 K. I put in 15 K miles I had and was able to get a Business Class flight for 120,000 miles from USA to Bangkok. Total cost about $2400 which was not bad for business class. However I had to book 9 months in advance and could only stretch out my trip for about 11 weeks = 77 days rather then the full 90 days for a tourist + extension visa. I don't know if their partner Korean Air would be more flexible?
