  1. . As Khor Tose, accurately stated, The message is good, but the messenger frankly sucks.
  2. No, not too many forums. Each seem to serve its own niche and devotees. For me, I detest most of the juvenile posts on some other forums and further detest those posters who are known as "hydras" as well as the total phonys that exist only in cyberspace.
  3. Give me a 747 or give me death. The 747 has been flying for 20 + years; has four engines and is not made of plastic.
  4. My guess is that many of the victims of these scams are merely naive or lonely and may be intrigued by getting an email such as these. Consider that fellow Manti Te'o who was hoaxed by a fake girlfriend; what a dupe to fall for the scam. But it happens all the time.
  5. Sorry, Jovianmoon, there are no pleasant sounding words for teetotallers!
  6. Rogie, I think you have a one track mind! Although I do like chardonnay but that sounds too Frenchy. Amnesia has a pleasant sound if I remember correctly as opposed to tinnitus which grates on the ear.
  7. If you are going to bring a bag of condoms with you then I strongly suggest that you leave the bag of Halloween candy at home. Customs have an adversion to the combo of these two.
  8. Oops; I meant to post this in the Beer Bar; maybe our deer mods can retify my error.
  9. After reading some of the neighing and braying by some recent posters the thought came to mind, what are the most beautiful sounding words or combos in English? Oh, ok, I saw this on the internet and cribbed the idea. Try not to do any googling and be orginal not as I was. I had read that cellar door is/was considered to be a beautiful combo by some including Tolkein the Hobbit Master; esp if pronounced slowly. French has beaucoup/many pleasant sounding words; asimismo/also Spanish. We can leave to to Christian to provide some pleasant sounding words in German! But for now one my English favs would be mellifluous. Any one want to aduce their contemplation?
  10. Recipe, ingredients? Here's all you knead for corn breed; goes great with filly chilli.
  11. Whoa is me! I wish I never mentioned horsey. Where I live there are lots of Bambis and their Moms and Dads who would willing sacrifice their lives to end up in Michael's pressure cooker.
  12. I have changed my avatar frequently and still retain conasaur status.
  13. Oh deer is an excellent addition to chili; of course if a Brit a bit of horsey will suffice.
  14. I am certain that even with money to offer I would get no takers.
  15. Yes, funny to me. This guy is a cheater and a liar and deserves all the ridicule that can he heaped on him.
  16. Timmberty, you got a point. Nothing better than a hot boy and a stiff drink or is it the other way around?
  17. Return home.
  18. What you write is true Bob, but in the event of a sudden storm any handy umbrella will provide protection.
  19. Well, maybe Feller was just covering for Erwin when I asked if he was the new owner. It may have been awkard for him to fully explain the ownership arrangements in the few seconds we chatted.
  20. This is the pressure cooker I use.
  21. Tonight did speak with the new owner who was very friendly. It seems they will be closing in a few weeks to do rennovations for a month and then reopen. There will be double shots on drinks and many more boyz both on staff and free lancers. Not quite sure of the owner's name but sounded like "Fella" which is likely spelled Feller.
  22. Excellent report. Can't wait to try that habitually drunk chicken, etc.
  23. Just agreeing with you timmberty. Perhaps I should have included a smiley?
  24. Easy answer to that Jovainmoon; I had too much wine at CB the night of the post and when I tried to edit my original post I ended up with two separate posts. It seems that the new owner spends time at the bar across from CB, which I believe is Come In Bar. Just my guess.
