  1. Good video.
  2. Why are you asking for advice? Seems like you have all the answers.
  3. Same-same as some others, with my government pension, my medical costs are covered by secondary insurance when outside of the USA. No co-pays, no deductibles, and free. Just hope they don't change it!
  4. I can read, write and pronounce my name in Thai; does that count? โกโก้
  5. i can't speak for Hero Massage but at a house in Pattaya the masseur told me I still had 20 minutes remaining on the c(l)ock. When I returned a few days later for a repeat performance the lady owner told me "him gone, him like too much boom boom".
  6. Based on what you posted, it seems that my bf was correct, depending on pronunciation, that farang kee nok /kee ngok can refer to a stingy or cheap charlie person.
  7. At the risk of being knocked by a farang for deviating from topic, I do have a question regarding a Thai expression farang keenok which I like to use. I thought it was simply a general contempt for a farang who did something stupid, But the bf said it had to do with a Cheap Charlie (his words) farang. Any thoughts?
  8. Wise advice; I tried some of those expressions on the bf and he was not amused. He wouldn't teach me how to pronounce them correctly.
  9. Here is a website with some juicy ones but cannot copy/paste as it is protected. nawcom.com/swearing/thai.htm
  10. Sorry trailrider; hope you are able to find how to post an avatar. We will behave ourselves when responding to your posts. I am looking forward to viewing your avatar and do enjoy your informative posts.
  11. There is a med, Truvada, which taken prior to HIV infection, and on a regular basis, does prevent HIV. There was a recent article in NY Times dated Dec 30, 2013 regarding Truvada.
  12. Sorry for confusing a Heine with a Bintang, The Moai was from somewhere on Easter Island but not sure where. Your new avatar is more monumental than a beer bottle. I hope the OP will be able to find a suitable avatar and be able to post it. It is not necessary to download an avatar/image to the desktop , it can also be downloaded to documents.
  13. Your personna has more panache than a bottle of Heineken. When I imagine vinapu I conjure something more inscrutable such as :
  14. vinapu; suggest you change your avatar, again.

    My first post

Abang, that was a good one, best laugh I had today. Even a zebra would not be stupid enough to put any faith in any type of "crossing zones".
  16. As for culture in Pattaya it is all about Sex and Sleeze, at least for a short time visitor.
  17. To the OP, if you don't want to spend money on sex, best to stay home and look for love there. Why bother spending big money to fly to Thailand to look for free sex?
  18. Moses, take your pick of trinkets:
  19. Reviewing all the entries it seems that Moses did have all the answers.
  20. Ok, now Dec 25, so I can reveal that I saw Photo A when I was in Vienna, Austria. Photo B, where else but in Paris.
  21. Ooops! Not Moscow but St. Pettersburg on Strelka. No Eiffel Tower key ring for me!
  22. When I saw the signature I first thought it was in Arabic! It would have been a service to humanity and the Empire for her Majesty to have acknowledged Alan Turing 's contribution to the war effort by a personal signature. Alan Turing should not have been pardoned, he should have been knighted. Maybe someday?
  23. Typically swab for drugs, explosives but then maybe semen? I think they do this just to make it look like they are in control. I have had this done to my luggage several times just to hassle me and yes, Detroit.
  24. Her Majesty does have a most curious signature! What does it mean?
