As Pope Innocent X uttered upon seeing his portrait by Velazquez, "too true, too true".

For those who's flights experience delays while traveling through/to/from Europe, you may be entitled up to 600 Euros in compensation. On a recent flight from BKK to Paris, my flight was delayed by two hours which resulted in missing a connecting flight to NYC/JFK. I was put on another flight the following day, a delay of about 12 hours. A fellow passenger, a Brit, advised me to file a claim with Air France the carrier. He did this and was given 600 Euros. The applicable Regulation is EC 261/204. You can try to file a claim with the airline or through a "collection" agency. If filing a claim be sure to refer to EC 261/204. Here are some links for more info. http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/holidays/article-2271213/How-claim-EU-flight-delay-compensation-EC-261-2004.html http://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/11/business/help-for-delayed-travelers-loath-to-leave-money-on-the-runway.html My claim was denied by Air France because they claimed the delay was a result of extraordinary circumstances. My British friend was told the flight was result of routine maintenance. Am now appealing the claim through a collection agency.

Well, maybe not? I fell in love first time Thailand and first go-go bar in Pattaya. That was 15 years ago and still together. My tip, follow your heart but listen to your brain.

Well, I do agree about sleeping pills but know of no over the counter pill available in the US that is really effective and works like a charm unless what you are referring to is the below: A prescription pill that is good, and leaves no "hangover" is Sonata. For me, the best sleeping aid comes in liquid form.

I don't often fly Biz Class, but when I do, I drink wine and plenty of it. Then I sleep.

As Christopher Columbus once said, "always easy to navigate once someone shows you how". And even if he didn't say that then I will.

Rosa Parks died in 2005. Her body laid in honor in the rotunda of the US Capitol. She was the second private person to be honored this way.

Your best bet might be to hook up with one of your friends at home and travel together. Or, as you mentioned do some internet searching for a gay tour going to Thailand. If you went to Pattaya then likely you would find it easier to meet someone to show you the ropes.

Just one lion? A hundred years ago there were 200,000 lions in the wild and now maybe 30,000. One by one they die off or are killed and then one day they become extinct. As for cattle, 1.4 billion so not exactly endangered. As for rabbits, the wild ones are gamey in taste but the domestic ones are oh so yummy.

Is it allowed to mention Thai guys by name here?

Is that a question? Now ID cards have birth date in Western/Gregorian Calendar in addition to Buddhist Calendar. -
How many times a year you travel to Thailand?

Wow, you are quick on the draw, vinapu! I edited out that bit about the moon landing, 5 minutes after I posted it, since didn't want people to think I was bragging. Besides, the Moon landing was another big lie of the USA, all staged on a Hollywood set along with those silly rovers on Mars and that bogus closeup of Pluto. -
Unless one is an experienced motorbike/motorcycle driver and has a license, then not a good idea to rent a motorbike. The streets of Pattata are not the place to learn how to ride one.

Yes a lie. Much depends on your employer whether private or public employee. Vacation time begins with 1 week and increase with years on the job. Many Americans in Thailand are retired on good pensions plus Social Security. Some even have 2 or more pensions such as ex-military men. Of course if you are poor and uneducated that is another matter. -

Beginning 2000, about 4 times/year for 3 to 6 weeks. Recently one/two time/year for 2 -5 months. Next trip, as long as I can up to one year. -

Lots of boys named Boy! Is he the one with brown skin, brown eyes, black hair, almond shaped eyes and a nice smile? -

I am the opposite, I never discus my adventures with anyone especially my boyfriend. -
I, like Gaybutton, found the OP's remarks insulting to members in general. Probably he is just envious of others and their good fortune or otherwise. Poor chap, get a life.

Not me, I prefer this one with the nice smile in the green shirt.

Just to clarify , New Queens is a beer bar not a go-go bar.

Good to see that this post has been resurrected as the real Laurence has gone to a better place but his spirit lives on. For me, when in Thailand my time is spent in Pattaya where sleaze also lives on. One could use other terms to describe Sodom by the Sea such as seedy, tacky, trashy and squalid. I do love it! Well more like a love-hate relationship.

Most gay Thai guys are not into Thai guys at all, only like Farang
kokopelli replied to abidismaili's topic in Gay Thailand
I know and know of gay Thai guys and they like sex with other Thais and also sex with younger farang. As for older farang it is all about money in some way or the other. -
Have you been smoking something?

As I understand the "ordinary" Americans still cannot travel to Cuba.
