Winner Boys in Sunee Plaza opening February 18th

The Thai lady did not have financial backer to run the bar as did previous owner. -
Don't ask, don't tell.

Agree, that would be the proper thing to do. However asking the boy if he wants a tip or a drink is very gauche. Buy him a drink, chat, touch, etc and if no "magic" then a tip and he returns to the stage. If you enjoy his company than a more generous tip. On the other hand I have had waiters try to push me to buy a second drink for the boy which I do refuse.

In Pattaya the cost of a motorbike taxi runs from 30 Baht min to 100 Baht max unless one goes for a long ride. These guys just scrape by on what they earn in a day. Does anyone really believe they don't deserve the fees they charge?
-
I never had a motorbike taxi ride that was hair raising, although I don't have any hair! But have been scared shitless.

Boyz, boyz, boyz at 10:30 and midnight.
-
People can recommend places to stay, but "up to you" regarding boyz and longtime/short time. You get what you pay for.
-
Was in Boyztown last night and the entire soi was decorated with Chinese lanterns, very festive. There is supposed to be a dragon parade tonight.

Lately have been visiting Double Shot to drink and relax. And they do give a double shot! The "shots" are delivered in one glass with ice or straight, plus a mixer on the side. 100 Pipers/Soda is 120 Baht. I usually only use an ounce or two of soda and enjoy the Scotch. Sometimes a staff member will sit and chat but I am not there for that, just the booze and relaxation. But the wine is no bargain at all, more expensive that other beer bars.. Not sure price of beer.

Meeting another poster "cold" is an awkward encounter for me. Closest I came was to walk up to someone who had described themselves to me on the forum and then introduced myself, nice to meet you , a few words and that was it. This poster was very nice and easy to chat with. Other times friends have introduced me to posters so that was easy. Only one time did I meet up with a poster "cold" but that was after many exchanges of PMs and emails and photos of each other. A real gentlemen as Christian can attest to.

Can anyone recommend the best Gay Massage places in Pattaya
kokopelli replied to a topic in Gay Thailand
A friend recommends any of the several massage houses Boyztown (vicinity of Ambiance,Copa). -
The one I was thinking of was the short, butch lesbian. I think her mother was the owner? Doesn't sound like Nat.
-
Was Nat the "tom" who pestered everyone for a drink and tip? That is reason I swore I would never go there again. The new mamasan is nice and does not bother patrons.

Mistakes happen! Recently forgot to pay the boy upon departure and, at the exit, he said, "you not pay me ?" Sure felt like a real fool and added an extra 500 to save some face.

Well, before the end arrives in Sunee Plaza, I recommend trying Power Boys and Nice Boys.
-
No, not a concern, but one can always check IDs. Unlike in previous years the age range at Power Boys has risen where unlikely any are underage. Quite a range of types from very big to very small. The small ones seemed to much more fem/ladyboy types.
-
Not long ago I swore I would never enter these two bars again, but I did, and I was pleasantly surprised. In both go-go bars the boyz on stage actually did "go-go" and moved their bodies and not just stand there like mannequins on display. This was more so in Power Boys where they were actually dancing in step and having fun doing it. I called a few over to show my appreciation with 40 Baht tips which they were grateful for even though not much money. At Power Boys, upon leaving, I had a wad of 20 Baht notes so just walked down the line and handed one to each boy on stage but ran out at the last one. He was so disappointed that my drinking companion saved the day with a tip for him. This just goes to show that even a 20 Baht tip is of value to them. Not a lot of customers at Power Boys but a nice lineup on stage of all types. Try them out and report your findings if in those areas.

Big question is did brall3'3 friend recover or is he still shitting?
-
Are you saying that someone should accept the DDC rate? If so they would receive less money than if they declined the DCC. The rates I quote were just examples, not meant to exact rates.
-
Thou sayest it.
-
Just another way to screw you out of your money. For example, if you choose the DCC at time of ATM transaction you will receive 35 Baht/US Dollar but if you don't use the DCC rate you will receive 36 Baht/USD. It applies to all currencies. Just a scare tactic to screw people out of their money.

How did it taste, the kiss?

You may want to ask cdnmatt who posts on Sawatdee Network. He is in his mid-thirties and been living in Thialand for a long time .
