As the Thais are exposed to motorbikes as children they become skilled in maneuvering them, same as Westerns are raised in an automobile environment from early childhood. I do agree they cannot even pull into any parking spot much less parallel park. Every time I drive with the bf in his car I am scared shitless although I have a Thai friend who is even more a granny then I when driving a car.

My sentiments are the same as Hedda. I really don't understand how this post and the crucifixion post have anything to do with Thailand? For me it is Catholic bashing much the same as the Israel/Palestine bashing that takes place on Baht-Stop. Not worthy of discussion. PS-The photo on the cover of the book was taken years before Pius was Pope; at the time of the photo he was apostolic nuncio to Germany

I recall that there was an earlier discussion on the USA Global Entry Program; this is an update. For those not familiar with this program it is a "easy pass" to go thru Immigration and Customs when returning to the USA. Cost about $100 and can be applied for on-line but must appear in person at Immigration at major airport in USA for final clearance. Straightforward except the on-line application process is cumbersome and confusing at times. On my return to the US, two 747s coughed up about 700 passengers all rushing to get in line and cleared thru Immigration. But there was no one at the kiosk for Global Entry and only one crew member in that line. It took about 2 or 3 minutes to get through but had to wait 15 minutes or more for the luggage. Then there is another Global Entry line at Customs also with no one in it. So that took another 30 seconds. A no questions asked process except a check of Passport at Customs. Well worth the it. You can google Global Entry for more info.

Hmmmm, I got them all wrong except for the math problem which was 4100. That took all of 10 seconds in my head. There were 4 x 1000= 4000; plus 40+30+20+10=100; so total was 4000+100=4100. So, I guess that makes me an idiot-savant?

New Bowel Cancer Screening Test Hailed as a "Breakthrough"
kokopelli replied to a topic in The Beer Bar
These type of tests have been around for many years so not sure why the big news now? The flexible sigmoidoscopy replaces the rigid tube that previously was used to examine the lower colon. The colonoscopy uses a longer, flexible tube that examines most of the colon plus allows the removal of any suspected lesions such as polyps. Virtual colonoscopy is a form of external imaging CT or MRI. Less invasive but not as effective and does not allow for removal of polyps, etc. The procedure is short and easy and not painful, etc. You are put asleep and wake up and have no real after effects other than perhaps loose bowels next time you eat! The preparation is another matter, having to drink 4 liters of liquid the night before the procedure to cleanse your colon. Most unpleasant. -
New Bowel Cancer Screening Test Hailed as a "Breakthrough"

Not sure why anyone would waste their time having a sigmoidoscopy when the colonoscopy is much more effective? -
Glenn Beck? The guy is a total fucking lunatic! He sets a new low even for Fox.

I do like to be "jerked off" but not on-line, reckx! Enjoy your little fun game. Think best if you stay home and play your weird games there.

I really think you are asking far too much for a first time experience! Yes, a gay massage is the way to start but don't have such great expectations.

The TSA program is no joke, it was reported in the NY Times.

Same for me, I was a graham cracker junkie in early teens.

Yes, figured it out in a few minutes. It has to do with the little houses with the numbers in them. Don't let the colors confuse you.

You can only get a 30 day extension on the 60 day tourist visa although you may get a few one or two week extensions at discretion of Immigration. Otherwise you would have to leave the kingdom. That does not preclude you from applying for other type of visas as others have mentioned.

The massage was fine but no happy ending even though I made it obvious what I wanted. All they did was toy with my toy and then nothing. Regarding tips, a friend who was a massage boy said 500 is the min for massage which might include a little grope and feel. As the degree of sex increases the tip should also increase.
-
Yes, Blue House and Royal offer nude masseurs (usually) and are not same as other store front massages houses in the area. In any case, you can tell the masseur you want him to be nude. They always end up that way and always sex !! I have had good experiences in Jomtien so you just have to take a chance and try it. The one I would avoid is on 2nd Road across from Boyztown area but cannot recall the name. Good massage but forget the rest.

Regarding tourist visa, it is easy to renew the 60 day visa for another 30 days. Best to do a google research, download the form, and bring necessary copies of passport, photo, etc to Immigration. Yes, it is automatic, just pay the 1900 Baht. Maybe an hour plus at Immigration office. As others mentioned, without specific info it is not possible to give you further advice.
-
The facilities at Blue House and Royal House are likely better then the other establishments, thus the high price. Private rooms and decent showers. Other houses likely to have just a curtain separating you and others and the showers are in the bathrooms. But in all cases a happy ending is usually assured but not always! In some of these places the masseurs think that you are there to "take care" of them and not vice-versa.
-
As mentioned by Z909 there are a number ofmassage places clustered in the area around TukCom. Best to wander around and check them out. Every time the experience is different so hard to give firm advice. Royal House and Blue House charge more for the massage about 500 Baht/hour. . Other places maybe 250ฺ

One thing does seem clear, and that is the technicians and engineers at the damaged nuclear plants have put their lives in jeopardy and most likely have suffered radiation damage. As others have said, why the delays in providing electrical power to the plant? It is easy for us to judge, but when the whole truth emerges, there is likely to be a series of errors that compounded this disaster.
-
I am a nuclear power advocate but after this screwup/disaster in Japan it is obvious that the designers did not plan for the worst or even plan at all for such an event. So far there has been no reliable info on the worst case scenario that I am aware of.
-
I think you are kidding yourself, Moses. Unless you are a nuclear engineer or radiation physicist you should reconsider your remarks or give a better rational.

Bob, yes, back then the Passport was prepared and issued by the USA embassy in Bangkok, but now they are issued only in the USA. The current fee for renewal is $110. I believe the "additions" consist of about 12 pages not three pages. So 3 additions would equal 36 pages +/-.
-
It was my understanding that the actual new Passport is renewed in the USA and then sent to Thailand to be given to the holder.

Perhaps Scooby could have been more explicit about why he made this post. There was some idiot/troll who posted a piece of trash which was rightly deleted. I am assuming that triggered Scooby's post. Shades of badboybilly.

That was the point I was trying to make regarding definitions. To me, anyone who has a cock shoved up his ass or down his throat is a bottom! The person doing the shoving is the top. Of course, one can be versatile and enjoy both aspects.
