As I have said elsewhere....75-80% of the guys in Screwboys are Viet so easy enough to find 10+ in a hurry, but I guess that's not quite Soi Twilight to be fair to the posts above But agreed it does get easier to find them once your 'plugged' into the network somewhat

Some of my Viet playmates have gone home for Tet already...hopefully will be less of a 'witch hunt' for them with the cops when they return...

z909...sure I 'get' that and if it was a ridiculous number I would either counter or just move on / ignore...but there's room for movement and bit like Vinapu said the haggling can kill the mood on both side sometimes if your horny for each other.

Agree with PaulSF...2000 is the expectation for Twilight for ST these days...my 'base' Tips before any adds ons were 2000 ST and 3000 LT (overnight)...all the guys were happy and tbh the cute Myanmar guy I offed from X-Size asked for the same when I enquired in the bar so it not like its a Viet thing...

The infamous Toyboys 'menu' has also helped push up Tip aspirations for ST in that particular bar...did not off anyone from there at all last time though because I didn't see anyone that got me excited

Their Tip expectations are acceptable IMHO for BKK and inline with the middle end of Soi Twilight level / areas tips. Because I was essential seeing 2 x 2 sets of Viet brothers I just found it was important to treat them equally to avoid any jealousy...I told them this and they fully understood. There was a bit of gentle rivalry between the 2 sets of brothers but nothing more than that. You can do as you wish, as the other posters have said...everyone experiences are different I have no issues with the Viets and look forward to seeing them all again soon. Ironically since I have been home I have had 2 requests from other 'playmates' for help with funds...and both those requests came from Thai's...no such requests from the Viets to date.

Similarly to Reader...I can only say the 4 guys I was 'playing' with were honest and fun also, although it might have helped a bit that they were 2 pairs of brothers. They appreciated if I made an effort to give them a good evening...took one to DJ one evening...took another to the Khao San Rd another evening etc...in return they gave me a lot of fun & good times back. After one nice LT session woke up to find 'B' cooking me Pho for breakfast in the condo i was renting that morning (made a run to Foodland the night before) as he knew I had to get a taxi at 11.00 and wanted me to eat something first.

The Viet you refer to...37 in Screwboys is actually not a bad guy IMHO (20 years old, lightly muscular build) but bit like PaulSF said about Viets in general can be a bit hard work at first. I spent quite a bit of time with him and some of his pals (4 different Viet guys) over Xmas & NY and had a good time tbh...it helped I knew 2 of them from before though. Its definitely the same guy as I recognized elements of your description...likes listening to Viet pop in the room...likes to borrow your phone as does not have one of his own currently, I would agree he's not Gay though...but more Bi / Str8.

Great report...please keep them coming...am I the only one who's waiting eagerly to hear what happened on Day 4 with your Viet though! :-)

As Colmx said....there are no VIP tables as such in NAB, its just a case of money talks. If your there early enough and open a bottle of JW Red you will normally get a decent table. Spent far too many nights in there and way too much bhat...always seemed to the place one's 'dates' and a gaggle of their friends would ask to go to...and years ago it was fun but now tbh less so. The nights when there's something special going on can still be good but less of those in low season. If I go now I will usually pre-book a table via a Thai pal. That's what all the placeholders that you see are for on the tables when you walk in. Be warned though the closer you are to the stage the more the coyotes and LB's will be 'hunting' you for coyote drinks & tips...

Hope Cupidol has improved again by this time next month when i get there...had a real blast there back over Songkran with some of the Khmer boys (helped with a few bottles of whiskey)...a lot more fun than certain other bars in BT.

Ditto...was just about to suggest they might be Shan boys...met a few over the years.

I just treat them all individually depending upon whether they are actually helpful or just taking the piss and trying to line their own pockets... Toyboys & Powerboys for example have Mena & JoJo who are both great Prisma (before that 360 and WWB) had the vile Leila who I cannot abide...but even then you just have to be direct with them i.e. had a conversation with Leila and told 'it' back at 360 that if he tried to talk or get anything from me I would not even step foot in 360...after that 'it' just left me alone. Funny thing is the waiters in 360 (back when it was ok) did a much better job than Leila ever did if I needed any info prior to an off....

Is it me....or has this thread 'drifted' a bit off topic...

When Toyboys is not busy in the bar its fairly normal to find a few of their boys hanging around outside (not just the str8 boys)...early evening they might be grabbing something to eat etc...late evening looking for a passing farang who'll off them & take them to NAB...but if the bar gets the busy they'll normally be called back inside to the stage.

Ok after some enquiries with the management of Toyboys yesterday & today it the appears their current 'menu' lists 1500 ST 3000 LT (recent increase) apparently previously it listed:- 1500 ST 2500 LT In all my many years of going in there I have never bothered my arse to look at the 'menu'...and it seems you can still negotiate with your chosen guy (should you so wish)...PLEASE don't get me started! I am just relaying what I was told, personally I don't agree with it. I am also of the school that rarely discusses Tips up-front unless a guy asks before hand and in truth I'm well know enough that they know already what the Tip will be and its fair 1500 ST 2000 LT +???....plus a trip to TNI or NAB and copious amounts of whiskey more than likely...due to constant 'nagging' from ColmX if I dare not... But I would suggest with their current thinking its probably worth agreeing things up-front as its a 'wonky' bar policy (to put it politely) and just risks both boy & customer potentially loosing face.

Namazu i have spoken up on this board in the past about someone who was posting pictures of gogoboys (although both are now former gogoboys)...neither of us made an issue about it, just had an exchange of views. After which the poster kindly took the pics down. So I don't think your being singled out.
