No-as compared on average, rates for us tend to be lower. The range can even be wider. 300 is also possible in many cases-and no, these are not the tipical drugged hookers most of you can only think of. More like girls with normal job and sleeping over with a near same age BF-hoping for some marriage. The top of the range are Thai Models (thats anyone who has ever been in some of the 1000+ magazines or on TV-or won some of the 12345+ beautycontests), that have long waiting lists for prospective clients. There surely are a very few gays adonis too doing that- and they wont be in any club. Again I wonder why so many of you need such an awful long time to grasp how some of the many aberrations in Thai society seem to work?

T-Mobile announces unlimited global data roaming at no extra charge
pong replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
T-mob is worldwide-and the original GERMAn telefon/Fernsprech. THIS offer-and you should have noted that- is ONLY for a select base of their customers. In fact such headings are considered illegal as misleading here-and can even be fined, if that company would announce it like now. -
1.Bali is only''just'' some 3 hrs flight away from BKK-and can be done pretty cheap-knowing the REAL distance, with no-frillss AirAsia. Its just that you loose about the whole day with all the transfers.......... If that is not too cheap/humble for you-they offer about any nearby SEA place for less as 100US$ return ex BKK. 2.you did not specify dates, but IF it inclused the Loy Kratong/Yi peng dates, I would certainly try to fit in Chiang Mai in that time. Pretty cool too. Oh-many people do not preplan all that-they leave when it disappoints, and stay longer if its likeable.

dont know exact about CMai-but I guess in the bars they simply do not expect any custom that evening. In BKK its not much to do about: its only an evening-no official day off, where you let the thing float somewhere-if they feel like it, boys can easily do that after work. Floats are for sale at ANY likable spot. IMHO well worth going and seeing-participating is also daft easy, but to be in the real Thai mood, enquire about the untold hidden meanings of many parts of the procedure. In CMai (stayed there during the '11 floods) its much more of a long festival, with parades and festivities in the days leading up to-well worth the sight of half naked schoolboys heaving the floats. It is partly dampered-as about ANY festival whereever in TH, by a load of drunks and setting of fireworks anywhere/anytime. Fireworks are forbidden in BKK and this is -how unThai!-even for 99,95% adhered to. So there will be a splendid fireworks show by the BMA late evening. Let that not spil you in letting of the fireworks erupting with your newly found BF.

yes have been, several times, mostly KB=Kota Baru, last time nov.11-with all the floods in TH. Monopoly of that islamic party has ended. IN the big market there are some signs showing the EXchange rates for Morocco Dirham, Jordan Dinar and some more Arab valuta-but they were not updated since that party lost. Not that I noted any Arab visitor. The small stream of western bekpekkers mainly stopover now for a trip to those Perhentian islands. (=perhenti= watch out!) KB did have a charming small town atmosfere and a fabulous nightmarket, both of which have been eraded by modernisation. Got proposed by a trainconductor one to meet after his shift ended. Illegal cheap Thai Music cassettes/VDO etc. at the night market. A lot of a skind of spoken Thai dialect can be heard. It WAS part of TH for some time.

Arena is just 1 of the dozne or so places around tourist area Silom that offers this. Come earlier for best choice. Reception speaks perfect english, some of the boys too. In these places its rather reverse of what you write in your OQ: the 2nd portion will be sureproof, the msg may-or may not be forthcoming. IF you really want that too, ask reception and make it clear. As said above: IF such a place clearly has a min. tip-of at least 500 (as does Arena) you can be 100% sure of the extra activities. On listing sites like gayscout, travelgayasia or (google for) nickygaybangkok, you'll find more. Utopia and stickyrice are grossly outdated-shops open/close at an alarming rate. Also recommendations are hardly worth it-it remains the luck of the minute and the draw-weekends are often much busier, with customers and boys available. You order from a menu and pay that fixed price for what is assumed to be the msg. No tip needed. in Arena you can also order drinks extra-also for the boy. A welcoming drink (water) and exit drink (mostly hot weak tea or also water) are included, like they are in any normal msg.shop. You pay your chosen boy at least that min.tip- he will follow you till exit and make sure it is not forgotten. Some people are so polite to give him the higher part whilst In the room and some small tip as extra on exit-as most would do in normal msg places. Arena is for me too close by to what are often abysmal standards in the tourist zone. It is indeed not that clean-and sits in a near deserted kind of enclosed shopping centre, just round the corner of that cheap gay guesthouse, BTS Chong Nonsri. Albury is a bit far away-moved to an inconvenient spot in a sidesoi behind soi 24 of BigC=ex carrefour opposite tesco @ Klong Teoy. it now has a promo(midweek) of a coupon for 1 free msg after the 1st-tip of course not included in that.

was in the aptly named ASIA HTL for many years-right beside BTS, moved to Asiatique, posh hi-so riverside trendy tourist market last year. About any BKK travelagent can get deeply discounted tickets for you-though these may not be valid at very popular times.

FYI"near to Emprm was the OLD location-demolished long ago and likely by now a new hotel. So it moved to Ram III- bus 205 or the yellow BRT fast bus from Chong Nonsri should pass by close enough-provided you know where to get off (BRT is just 5 bt). I had thought it is mainly aiming tourbusgroups (CHinese thus), due to its location. Calypso aims also more at individual persons-mast tr.agents sell deeply discounted tix.

hello Christian-no, there is no pattern in nightbustimes, of course not, its the BMTA. As this route also serves DMK it can vary and sometimes they put on extra rides-only to/fro Vict.Monum. 59 also has nightbuses About short-time rooms: of course there are: on Silom in BBB-but i was told (and thats a long time ago) it was 500 bt for 2 or 3 hrs. Probably more now. NIAGARA HTL-which is a litle away-all SprA boys know it- walkable-youll pas at least 4 7s etc to stock up-buy them a drink- or tuktuk. Cross Silom-beyond where BTS turns off, beyond silom Plaza-busstop-turn left into soi, pass graveyard-roads turns right and its in next turnoff. 280/380 bt for 2/3 hrs (2 hrs is not offered-have your boy ask for it)-which is obvious what tip is expected. has Tv with only str8 por and thai programs, condoms, (no lube, as i recall), often only cold wtr in shower/bath. Also a clean white near hospital lookalike palce along Patpong-they dont care if its str8 or gay couple, but I had the feeling it was too easy to look inside. Close by the screwboys. (BTW- I think that B was also favourably commented on in some other forum)

How do you Weed Through the Bad Boys on Gay Romeo?
pong replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
on another well-known Thai gay forum- the one recently changed hands again-has now a subforum re GR-boys- uncensored of course by those boys or Gr itself. It would be handy if they would put the general area/town in the headings. i think firecat sums it all up pretty nicely and to the spot. i also suspect that many do not handle those accounts themselves-but by some middelman-an age-old think in Thailand. -
have shopped in that store many times-when it was still open-=pre 1997 financial crisis. You cannot easily go in, and I assume this whole story is mostly tipical newsppr hype. Any water will be stagnant ultra-dirty filth. The store was 9-10 stories high and this was in flagrant illegality,as in this Pra Nakorn area (=holy town, the '''old town'') any building cannot be higher as highest spire in Royal Palace. It has since been torn down partly. Around corner is another abandoned dept.store-Banglamphu store, but there ground floor is still taken by clothes vendors. BUT; just other side of crossing is a canal (which once has direct boats to Hualampong main station) and there one can often see what most farang think are ''crocodiles'' mid town. They are not, but look like that for unknowing people out for any hype. Und unsere lieber Christian: ganz nah ist ja, wie bestimmt schon bekannt, Saranrom park, in laufnaehe. Bus 524 bringt dir dort direkt ab Laksi/Chaeng Wattana rd.

in Belgium they have much of the same and in some cases for those unfamilair with it even more idiot looking. In BRUssels-as its considered neutral and hence bi-lingual, the railways have to change every year the langauge they start the announcements in, so that anyone gets his right share and there is no priority. But there the locals themselves play for lingo-police, by crossing off and demolishing any sign that does not strictly follow the laws. Thats also why in the national airport, which sits in Vlaanderen and not in BRUssel, there are no official French signages-even though 60%+ of customers are FRench-speaking. Strangely in tri-lingual Switserland it seems they do not have any real need for this-and even though a part of it is also French

MAR (they sometimes named it Mars, which in some languages is not the famous chocolate candybar, but some other male organ), was from Chiang Mai and had 2-for a while even 3- saakhaa in BKK, at Ekamai and somewhere off Lard Prao. Visited the Ekamai venue when it was still Mar/s and that for me was once and never again. I should have made a reservation I was told, but there were 2 fairly young and slim guys available. Feature was they had not the usual album, but all guys on a tablet-with some pix, if pressed for, also available revealing a little more as the normal foto's. Fairly low price. it is a normal house in a row in a soi with many new contruction going on. Seemed they were not that used to white farang. Service was much below what I usualy get-even for an unknown first-timer, but maybe that then means it is not hard to improve. Does ''club'' mean that you now first have to purchase some expensive membership?

sorry, enchanter, but I think you are a little confused here, with Chakran/sauna and attached massage-shop (advertsiing on thaimasageboy). Hero is definitely mostly for Asians and farang with very, very few Thai customers. It does have a large crew, and blunt-informative captain/''mamasan'', a hospital-like all stark white interior and a feeling of conveyor-belt processing of the punters, who do not pay the odds for all-premium VIP-suites etc.
-
ach du lieber Christian- es ist ja ein graues und regnerisches Pfingsten hier, that tyou do not have overthere. The idea of ''bait'' boys is very common, both in bars and massageshops. They only do advertising.

the code is DMK Again a case where gays simply do not know-(or as I suspect are too rich or spoilt to get bothered with this) go to any of the well-known general travel sites and info abounds. A FREE shuttle bus runs between the 2-at least hourly (on the hour, in 1 hour), from 6.00-0.00. Go to lowest level-open eyes+follow signs, ditto for the taxis. Check if last one has gone, if there is still the payable minivan (nr. 555//54- 40 or 50 THB- no space for luggage) In between there MAY still be the odd local citybus (in fact they use the very same ones for the shuttle- orange Ac BMTA citybuses from Mercedes) 555, 554 will also do-fare is 33 THB, but this is from the BUSterminal at swampy-get there by free white shuttlebus. However, it seems that by now all nite-time buses have ceased to run. Taximeter would be about 250/300 THB +50 bt airpot surcharge-no need for paid tollways by that time. sleepinginairports.org has info re staying overnite+available options. IF you crave a good massage+extra for a quick taste of thailand, contact beforehand K-male, which sits about in the southern approach to DMK, Laksi Plaza, but they close by 23/24.00-fone ahead for an appointment. 554 stops opposite, 555 not. they advertise on thaimassageboy [or not] and gthai.net, ask for chris

look, this is Thailand so that means-and I know it is very, very hard to grasp for many of you NO rules, NO fixed percentages (which say very little also- about noone will pay full fare), and its different at any place. Tipically real/hi-class HTLs do not want such long-time stayers-they make much less money out of them in the side services. As C-jay rightly explains, serviced aprtmts are for that and they are a plenty in ANY tourist town. The cheaper ones do not advertise, are not online, go by word of mouth and repeat custom. The better ones-mainly BKK-often appeal to a certain nation (JPNese, Chinese, Koreans, etc-and thus are also very reluctant to take many others and unseen-they will not want to hurt their known clients). THis is in fact still-believe it or not-a big deterrant for any Thai hotelier- they like to see-and be able to decline- clients, so yes, as about any Thai, they discriminate. Those huge discounts say nothing by the way: its rent only, the additional costs for electric and water-thats what they get the profit of. In short; Shake off that US-mind to think in %- only go to the final, total price and see what that buys you. Thus ''only''50% discount may in fact work out as better deal as 80% of an initial far too high price with inflated fai-fah=electric. And your boy for the time will be quite willing to do the household cores-as above described. or rent a cleaning lady- 50 bt/hr is ample pay.

IMHO the Obama scenario re OBLaden: they (US+allies) already have the drones or un-manned planes and know all the spots in NoKo and just send them off-preferably from Guam, maybe Okinawa. And have a clear hit on this Disney loving just 30 yrs old and still a teenage in hismindset dictator. Those who he now treis to impress-all the 1000s of older generals with Sputnik caps, will be immensely relieved to have gotten rid of such a mindsick kid. Or (when i use my reasonable and human-living thinking); They find him, carry him in another binLaden lookalike heli and drag him off to a place where he can be judged by that International Court for deeds against humanity-as the NoKo's always do-also those by his family, pa, grandpa, etc.-for starving a few million of his people. But what will then happen is likely more mindboggling and frightening- how the Chinese will react and how the Korea's will reunite-quite different from that in Germany. Fodder for psychologists-how to unwash a brainwashed whole country.

the usual listing sites list them- as so often discussed they vary a lot in how accurate/uptodate they are. BKK-big city has aorund 30+ now-and most are in far away suburbia. Total nr seems to be slowly going down.Open/close at a speed nearly equal to those m2m-msg places. I prefer gayscout for listings. For the latest news-and special evens etc- go to the Thai sites like gthai.net or aboutg. They also have for those able to read Thai some reviews. They all let farang in-but in what extent you may have fun Inside varies. OTOH Ive never been disappointed in provincial sauna's, success ratio far higher as in BKK. The labels that some say be As2As or whatever are only the incidental experience of incidental people- I have never ever encountered ''policies'' like in the US. And its completely variable- exp. of person 1 on THU may be totally different from person 2 on SUN or TUE. Ditto for Thai being ''interested'': it all remains a lotteree. But visiting farang in faraway places are also as rare as wins in the lotteree anyway. From some reports I get the idea, that many are quite small and mainly used as ''friends hookup'' like the corner bar in EUR. Times to go for best are also very variable-some right after work, others nighttime weekends. The cfs site has for me the best and long collection of reviews and hints and descriptions. Some also offer massage-by staff-with quoted prices and tips. BRasil really remains an exception in the way they have MBs available. There are 2 such in Espana (Mad and Barca) and the odd ones former in Germany have all driven those guys out.

Just read somewhere- and already forgot where, that this FR concession area is THE ''pink triangle'' of Shanghai or-for that matter, the whole of mainland CHina. From what I myself remember avoid that area aorund Renmin- overcrowded, only enormous shops and giant masses and high prices. Subway has enormously expanded last 2 years and is grwoing as fatest in this world- network maps in urbanrail.net. The areas that khun FH mentions- its merely a 2-3 stop ride on that overcrowded subway anyway- does 2-3 mins really count? You go there once- see it and thats done. In fact SH has very, very few remarkable sights- (a European is not easily impressed by hyet some more''classsic architecture''- its most impressing sight (as the word says- to see) is the nighttime coloured lighting of the Pudong area across from the river. Compared to TH-or even HKG for that matter, shopping in mainland CHina is likely to be disappointing-unless you/he is after the usual cheap tourist nicknacks. The quality pieces are only for export. There are not really such giant malls as we have here in BKK-and those that are, are by logic conclusion-as there was no room for them- in faraway suburbia, 20/30 mins on the subway out. CARREFour-yes, its still there! and WALMART dominate that scene. Maybe this now also explains why those mainland Chinese come here to BKk for-well, right; SHOPping!
-
planned to go there this febr- but changed mind and choose MY. From what I remember of old shamefull Mack: prices in PHP roughly about same as what you would give in THB here-which thus, for the fast calculators, works out at an advantage if counting in any valuta like EUr or any $$. As for the rather Qs anyone can answer for themselves: SOme HTls will-other s not-or central in the lobby.
-
no, dear M, then its another one. Its off a side soi of Suan Plu, even signposd with those green pointers (whcih you only see for big hotels etc.) and the only one around.
-
and there is also candle THAI-right beside the busstop, same side of Ram IV. This one seems most promising in getting extra's. Candle-T is pretty expensive for just a msg.
-
a bit of unusual place for a gay sauna, so DO get directions-its not that hard-up the lift. Has recently been step by step renovated and upgraded.MOst busy weekdays after working hours- with horny Thai chasing after farang.

Had average to good service in 4-5 lst visits My God; NEW??? its 7 years old!The SAUNA has closed- you still use its facilities to shower and undress etc. Very clean, choice of stdd or VIP-room-has mirrors and poh-TV, very reasonable prices and well-informed captains. Start of week small choice only.
