I live in Ft.Lauderdale so it’s summer year round. We have 3 strip clubs that have finally reopened. Though no back room fun. Not supposed to be much physical contact between customers and dancers. They do allow lots of tip money to exchange hands. Many of the guys will make private arrangements with you, but an hour here can cost what a weekend in Thailand costs. South Florida is just about fully open. Tourist are starting to fill the hotels again . As with Thailand, winter is high season here. I’m usually in Bangkok for winter months so this will be my first time home for several years.

I have the Ecco like in your picture. They are expensive but for me, worth every penny. I’ve had mine for about 12 years. Living in South Florida I were them almost every day. I’ve worn them in many rain storms in Bangkok and Florida. I keep waiting for them to fall apart, but no signs of that happening. They can be had for $100 to $125 US.

Peter mentioned above he got email from Qatar. I got the same saying we are now flying to Bangkok. I think this announcement from the Dubai Thai Consolate will effectively shut down the wishful thinking of the Middle East 3 airlines.

As of now there still arent any scheduled commercial international flights. I left Bangkok April 1st as everything was closing down. I’d love to get back as soon as possible, but can’t find any info that lets me believe it will be before the first of the year. I was talking to the lady I rent My condo from over the weekend. She told me not to plan anything before January 1 and having a US passport could make the delays longer unless the virus rate comes down in the US.

My main reasons for living here is it’s really cheap and I don’t have to shovel snow. With retirement I spend less than half the year here. But have to have somewhere to call home. Covid has thrown a wrench into most of our travel plans so now it’s just sit and wait.

Oddly enough, I spend very little time in downtown Wilton Manors because I spent 4-6 months a year in Bangkok and spend more of my money there. So lots of Thai food . I’d be there now sharing restaurants with TotallyOz if it weren’t for Covid.

I should have said. The Florida Primary Elections . They are in August.

I’m in Florida and received my ballot by mail yesterday. Trump is flooding the Florida TV airwaves with campaign ads. Florida is a big swing state and he is trailing in the poles .

I drove buy car wash a couple of weeks ago and cars were lines up down the street. They are doing washes in back of parking lot so you really can’t see anything from street. Florida last night banned alcohol sales from any bar, club or restaurant that makes 50% of their sales on alcohol. They also announced they are closes beaches in Miami Fourth of July weekend. New cases are exploding here. The young are out and about and don’t care. Those of us older folk are hunkering down inside. Several places got closed down in Ft.Lauderdale last night for overcrowding.

Unfortunately the Wilton Manors area has had the highest rate of new cases of Covid in Broward County over the last few days. This is not going to help getting up and running quickly. I drove past Boardwalk today and it appeared they had outdoor restaurant open. I didn’t see any customers but there were several cars in parking lot and they had tables out.

Good Girls had their season ending episode last night. I found season 3 to be a bit off. I enjoyed season 1& 2 much more.

I love this show but I need to wait till season over and binge watch the season at one time. I have watched most of it on my flights to Bangkok. Hoping that will happen again at the end of the year.

I think we saw this coming. I got home yesterday from Bangkok and several other of my American friends left Bangkok the last few days. With all the Asian countries closing their borders we didn’t want to get stuck there.

I wonder how many Are arriving from Singapore and China with the travel restrictions. I’m out most nights and I just don’t see them.

I’ll be at Hot Male to see who is around. Then go from there. I went to FreshBoys last night. Decent crowd. A few offs. but crowd and boys on stage all in good moods making for a fun night.

DHS has already stated that Americans will not be refused entry into the US. Flights from UK still flying. So there will be major inconveniences but there are work arounds. I’v been in Bangkok now for a couple of months. I feel safer here than I will in the US listening to the panic I seem to hear from there. Tourism is slow here , but it seems much more business as usual.

Yes I’ll be up at Hot Male waiting for you, but if you stop by Red Dragon first those guys will let you know for sure where I am as they track me all night.

Thanks Jason. Lol. I do get trapped by the guys at FreshBoys. They won’t let me out of Patpong. I don’t go to Moonlight alone, but when other forum members are around I make it. I like the show and there are some hot guys working there. I hope the fact they are not filling the place on weekends isn’t a sign of things to come. A very slow, slow season?
