    Back in Bangkok

If I was staying in a hotel, I wouldn't stay for 3 months. Having the apartment is just like living at home. Ive made a lot of friends and have a boy that stays with me when I'm there. Here in Ft.Lauderdale I'm quietly retired. In Bangkok I'm busy retired. When I did my first 30 day trip, I started thinking I was staying a couple of weeks to long. Then I made a point of getting out and doing a little more exploring and filing my days. There is no problem filling the nights When the month was up, I was ready to stay longer. I've flown over 5 times this year. That's a lot of wear and tear on the ass. So I'm thinking of 2, 3 month trips. We will see how that goes. I've been home for 3 days now and I'm already looking at airfares.
  2. I'm waiting a couple of weeks. This weekend in Ft.Lauderdale it's all sold out. Even the 9am shows.

    Back in Bangkok

I just got back from a 2 week trip to Bangkok. I needed a few more miles to qualify for my airline status and the weather here in Ft.Lauderdale was awful for a couple of weeks. So started checking fares and got a $750.00 to Hong Kong on American and then used miles for Hong Kong - Bangkok. One of the better flights I have had. On-time, good service, smooth flight. I arrived in Bangkok at 10pm, so that gave me time to head over to Soi Twilight to see what was going on. A couple of the bars stay open till about 3am. I didn't stay at the apartment I usually use. A last minute trip and when I called the owner about using it, he said he was staying there a couple of weeks doing a little upkeep. He was willing to let me have it for 1 week, but I found a great senior rate at the Courtyard by Marriott. $65.00 all in a night. With my gold status, I got free buffet breakfast and lounge access which had enough food to make a decent dinner. I didn't spent a dime on food this trip. I've spent about 5 months in Bangkok this year. I hang out mostly at Hot Male and am friends with a lot of the boys there. I sent a text when I got to airport I was in town and would stop by in a couple of hours. Word got around. I arrived and everybody came by to say hi. My usual drink was waiting for me by the time I got to my favorite bar stool. But in the end, it's still about making money for the boys. Several were trying to get me to take them to my hotel. Not going to happen tonight. It's just after midnight and I've been up for 30 hours. I stayed till 2:30 or so, then back to hotel. The weather is good this time of the year over there. But they were still having a bit of a heat wave. 95 days upper 70's nights, but humidity was way down. Because I go so often, I'm sort of over sightseeing. So I spend most days by the pool. Then late afternoon nap to get me thru the night. I wasn't craving sex the first couple of days, so just hung out with my friends at Hot Male. I went to a couple of shows during my stay. Even though it's not sex just hanging out. The boys are very touchy, freely . At my age, that works. I saw the show at Hot Male first. I have some close Vietnamese friends that work there, that sit with me during the shows. Getting into the high season, bigger crowds and a little more nudity than I have seen this past year. I remember when they did the big cock contest several years ago, there would be 4 or 5 boys. Now in all the clubs there are 20 or so boys showing off some good size. I don't know what these Asian boys are eating, but the myth of small Asian boys is quickly disappearing. You can still find plenty of small twinks, but the amount of boy next door, 6 pack is becoming the norm. I went to shows at Fresh Boys and X-boys. Both were hour long shows with lots of nudity, hot boys, and a few lady boys. Fresh Boys did a 2 boy shower show that was pretty hot. I still think X-Boys does the best overall show . I had a couple of friends that had gone to the shows at Boys Bangkok and were dissapointed, so I decided not to try it out. It's very expensive, so if your not going to enjoy it, save your money. On my trips in the past, I have seen this boy that works at Bonney Massage, just a couple doors down from my bar stool. He is very hot and I figured very straight. I just wanted to see him naked, the massage would be a plus. Well one night we both arrived on the street at the same time and bumped into each other. Exchanging smiles, it gave me an opening. Said I have seen him where he works and would like to stop by for a massage some time. He said, slow night stop by. I did. Did I mention, he is hot. Get to room and start getting undressed for ritual shower. I am going really slow as I want to watch him strip. He caught on quick and did a great strip show. Only wearing shorts and t-shirt, didn't take long. Showers with massage guys are fun. By the time I finish playing in the shower I really don't need the massage. We did an hour. Average massage, but fun play time. Strong hands, lots of stroking. He stayed positioned so I got plenty of hand action in on him to. Both got off. Another playfull shower. The massages on Soi Twilight are about the cheapest in the city. 600 baht massage and minimum 600 tip for boy. I gave him 1200. When I told him I would be back in Feb for 3 months, his customer service sure picked up. I made a trip over to Hero, my favorite, for a massage afternoon. The had a lot of boys working. But I have been seeing this one boy there for the past year. He is a lot of fun. A gay boy that has no limits. We do 90 minutes. I'm not into intercourse anymore, but he covers all the other bases. Stroking, sucking, kissing, hands and fingers everywhere. I would probably go to Hero more often, but it is hard to get a taxi out of there. End of dead end street. I have some mobility issues so uncomfortable walk to a taxi. But..I have given Uber a try. Has worked 3 times perfectly. So more trips to Hero on the horizon. My BF has been in Vietnam for the last few months. His family lost a good portion of their house in a monsoon late summer. He has been back helping his father rebuild before winter. He knew I was in Bangkok and called me and said he was coming back and would be there 4 days before I left. He made it. He moved into the hotel with me for the last few nights. He spent most of the day's catching up with his friends and getting reinstated at work. We had playful fun each night. As I mentioned, I love playing in showers. The one at the hotel is good size and has a bench in it. That bench sure makes playtime a lot of fun. It's Christmas time in Bangkok. I've been there a few times at this time of the year. Even though it's a Buddist country, they have really discovered the commercial side of the holidays. The western tourist spend a lot of money. The shopping centers and especially the larger hotels, have really gotten into the decorations. It is 10 times more decorated than I have seen in the past. This is the first pic I have posted. I've seen many people do the sideway pic but the figure it out. Not me. Had a great trip. Short but met up with some new and old friends. I head back in Feb. will have the apartment back and will be staying a few months. Have been doing 30 day trips, so will be interesting.
  4. Now that I have an unlocked IPhone 6 and spending 5 months in Bangkok, I have been looking at these internet packages. My last 2 trips were short, but I got the 79 baht 1 week high speed that worked great. But I arrive in Feb for 3 months and will be looking at what you have. I also use ais. Curious.....I read on a lot of blogs that True is the best, yet I have been happy with ais, and most of my Thai friends use ais and say they like it better. I don't have a clue which is better, but I'm happy with what I have.
  5. When I arrived on Dec 7, at 10pm, they had 8 premium lanes open. I have never seen more than 4 open at 1 time. i was able to walk right up to agent. My best arrival ever. Luggage waiting, and taxi to Silom 275.

Sorry I'll miss you, it's been awhile. I'll have my Vietnamese Posse keep an eye out for you. You know where my favorite bar stool is. Have a great time.

    Back in Bangkok

It's been raining in Ft.Lauderdale for about 2 weeks, so I'm off to Bangkok in the morning. My 5th trip this year. High season and nothing but hot sun and hot boys predicted for the next couple of weeks over there. I'll try to find some fun times to write about. Just a quick 10 day trip this time. I have a few friends that are around, so figured, why not pay a visit.
  8. The boys roam around the sauna. They will walk up to you or you can walk up to them. I usually just sit in the bar area. Boys will stop by and start a conversation or just make eye contact with a boy and they will usually come over to you. As with Thailand you can buy them a drink, or not.
  9. I find it just the opposite. I live in Ft.Lauderdale and it's an easy commute to Rio. But I have lots more fun in Bangkok. I would never use Dreamboys as a comparison as to what goes on in Thailand. I take boys off all the time for 1500 and they will hang out at different bars if I want and many times we look for another to take home. Your correct. You won't get that from most boys at Dreamboys. They want a quickly with you and get back to try to get another customer. I was in there one night in Sept. By the time the show started at 10:30, 3/4 of the boys had already been offed. Most other bars, boys are happy with one off. I find more boys speak English in Thailand than Brazil. I sit at 117 for a few hours and barely have conversation except with other customers. I stay in Bangkok on my trips. It is a much easier city to get around in public transport wise. And I feel safe while walking home at 3am. In Brazil travel with lots of friends or taxi. But then Rio is a much more beautiful city than Bangkok. I love the beaches . I can be in Rio in 8 hours, non stop. Bangkok, 25 hours, 3 planes. They both have their pluses, but I prefer Thailand for the boys.
  10. It's kind of like the fine print on a contract. Most of the prices are posted, but you really have to be looking.
  11. I finally made it to Hero last night.(nov 2) I have a boy that I always see there. I gave him a call to see if he was working and he was. There appeard to be about 25 boys working. It was a slow night. My friend said I was first customer. So lots of interest in me as I arrived. My friend saw me come in and quickly rescued me. Off we went for a fun time. This boy doesn't really have any limits, so I always get what I want. Which isn't really a lot compared to many of you. But good kisser and I like that. When leaving I decided to try Uber. I use it in the US all the time, but never tried it here. I have some mobility problems so walking to BTS doesn't happen. Plugged the address into the ap. Said arrival in 10 minutes. This was at 7pm, still lots of traffic. In 10 minutes car showed up. Young girl driver in a Yaris. Not a word of English. Drove me straight to my apt way down on Suriwong. It was nice to go from Hero to home, without getting all sweaty getting there. Cost was 133. This was dynamic pricing because of heavy traffic and few uber cares available. Said fare would be 80 if regular fare.
  12. I went to X Boys last night instead of Dreamboys. Dreamboys had a full house and as mentioned a bit on the expensive side. We had a pretty good time at XBoys. They did some Halloween themed routines. Lots of hot boys and plenty of nudity. Not quite a full house. I have seen it busier. The drinks were 360. It was a bit slower than I thought it would be on Soi Twilight. Halloween is so big in the US. It hasn't really caught on in Thailand, though each year seems to be growing a bit. Some heavy rain around 11pm probably didn't help. Soi 4 was packing them in. I was invited, but didn't go, but sounded like it was going to be a big night at the discos . Many boys were talking about about going out dancing, and many were leaving work a bit early (midnight) to go out. All in all it was a fun night out. Lots of boys in good moods.
  13. That's what I figured they were going to charge. They said extra boys and special shows. We will see. I'm headed that way now (little rain shower, slight delay). I really don't want to pay that, but I am curious about the shows tonight.
  14. I'd be part of that minority also. I don't mind the chairs or umbrellas, but I would like some space between them. The umbrellas run together and no sun gets thru. I live in Ft.Lauderdale. Lots of places have chairs, but 4 or 5 feet between you and neighbor . The cramped quarters are why I opted for the hotel pool.
  15. Last night 2 big tour buses pulled up in front of Soi Twilight . Both were full of only Chinese women. The all went to Dream Boys. If I see that happen tonight, I won't go, but I will make a bank run today and try to get in.
  16. I'm thinking about it. I'm hoping to hit the lottery to pay for it. Also Hot Male is having 10 year anniversary party Nov. 28 . Special shows, special boys. ect. I miss it by a week.
  17. I stopped by last night to see the show. Was again as to much drag queens for me. They try doing comedy, but it doesn't work. They speak Thai, but customers don't. How are you supposed to get the punch line. A couple other numbers were quite good, with just boys. Only about 3/4 full. Drinks were 450. Off fee 650. Saturday night they are advertising their 18th anniversary. Special shows, lots of extra boys, suprises. . I wonder if they will have extra special high prices for drinks and off's .
  18. I'm the other way. I have to have water. I don't like the beaches in Pattaya with all the chairs sitting on top of each other. I like a little room and privacy. I always stay at the Marriott because they have a big pool. At my apartment in Bangkok, I have a pool right outside my door and spend time there everyday. It's a plus with some of the boys for daytime visits also. In the US I live in Ft.Lauderdale. I have a pool and beach at the end of my street. When I die, I told my sister, just walk down to the beach and dump my ashes.
  19. I'm a bit more with Vinapu on this. I go to Hero a lot and it doesn't bother me if boys don't line up when I arrive. I like that I can sit and watch for awhile with no pressure. I think of the times boys line up, you pick, and as headed to room a very hot boy or two will come walking in. Hero is so big and busy boys are coming ang going constantly. But I agree, if your not comfortable, better to move on. I had an interesting conversation with a boy last night. My bf is home with family on this trip so I get to play a bit more. One of his good friends that I've known for awhile came over to my apt. We got to talking about the customers and what they pay. He said they love American Farang because they are the best tippers. But not many around. European are good but lots of drinking. Asian customers are demanding and pay bad. But you can't turn down business in slow season. He came over and we played and hung out for about 3 hours. I gave him 2000. He said if I was Chinese I would only give him 1200.
  20. Just yell out, No Tip. They will stop real fast.
  21. Adonis is my 2nd favorite place. (Hero #1). I have had great times there, but stairs are not my best friend. I always ask, are we going all the way up? Usually they say yes, with a smile. I swear you could arrive in a wheel chair and they would tell you room on top floor. But the boys are worth it. Probably hit it up tomorrow, although Hero may win out.
  22. 1st day was great pool weather, but it's 7pm now and thunder and lightning at its best. But not raining. Probably holding off till I go out in about 30 minutes.
  23. When I started this post back in Sept, I mentioned changes at the airport arrival process. phone numbers wanted on landing card and screening luggage leaving. several people arriving around the same time said they saw none of this. Well I arrived last night (Oct 27) Short trip this time. They again asked for phone numbers. They had 2 girls screening the line at immigration. Handed me a pen and said "phone number please". Then when I was being processed the agent asked me to take my glasses off for picture. That was a first. No baggage screening leaving terminal. I had fast trac pass, but didn't need it. Went to regular lines and only 2 people in front of me. Was thru in less than 5 minutes. One of the better airport arrivals I've had in a while. Nobody at taxi line. Driver used meter, highway and fee was 375. Off plane to my apt in 1 hour.

    My first off!

Sorry you had a tough time your first time out. But it will get better. I think most of us have gone thru what you did on our first trips. It took me a couple of weeks before I could say no. Now it's not a problem. The mamasans and boys hear no, more than they hear yes. Don't be afraid to say NO. Nothing will happen. They will just move on to the next customer. When I go into a place now and see the Mamasan charging at me, I look away and shoo him off with my hand and then ignor him. Don't let your first time scare you off, use it as a learning experience and don't be afraid to just say no.
  25. My boy in Bangkok does a hot wax show on stage at one of the clubs. It's fun playing in the shower trying to get all those pesky little pieces of wax from all those hard to reach places.
