I’ve been using Airbnb for the past 10 years. My trips are more than a month. Stays over 30 days are legal. Stays less than 30 days tolerated. Some places won’t accept less than 30 days. It’s up to management. Police don’t get involved. Most rentals include utilities and now more and more places are getting smart tv’s which is a nice touch. I like having separate bedroom..putting clothes into the washer in my kitchen isn’t much of a chore. Cleaning can be an issue. Most condo owners have a cleaning person. Every 2-3 weeks I’ll have someone come in and do a heavy clean. I pay $15. Place I usually stay has security guy and he could care less who you bring back. I get swimming pool to myself during work hours as most residents are at work. If I was only staying a week or two, I’d probably stay in a hotel. For me Airbnb works best, I only stay in a hotel on my arrival night , which is usually around midnight.

New passenger terminal at Suvarnabhumi will be ready in April

Its unfortunate they built a people mover between terminals because you like to walk ?? I find that quite selfish. Not everyone is a world class jogger. Elderly, disabled, family’s with small children. Just an example of some that might find train a big help. -
When he says No and you keep pursuing, when does it turn into harassment?

A reason why many of us spend months instead of weeks in Thailand.

I live in a city with 3 strip clubs. It would take 10,000 baht to take someone home from here. If I could get them for 2500 I’d spend less time in Bangkok.

I have a couple of friends that went and also had a good time.

I only stay at Airbnb’s. Your correct they don’t give exact address until you book, but I’ve never had an issue where the pre booking location wasn’t correct. My experiences the map location has always been in the correct neighborhood within a couple of blocks. If you see something you like you can contact the owners and they will usually give you the street name.

I went to Kman several times in the last couple of months. If you go and want the VIP room it’s best to call ahead to have them hold it for you. It was always on use when I was there.

You just missed me. I was in Bangkok for the last couple of months. Holding court at Hot Male with several other forum members. I just got back home in the US last week. Hope to be back in September for a few months. A little follow up to those that like the Vietnamese guys. When I arrived there were only a couple that stayed in Bangkok during the Covid break. About a month ago several started showing up, Thai Pass and all. Now it seems a few more are arriving weekly. As Min mentioned most of them are from the same area in Vietnam. The boys here get word to those back home that it’s getting easier to come thru Laos now . Most of the arrivals worked in Bangkok before the shutdown. But there are a few new arrivals. Also it appears the bar downstairs in Patpong between FreshBoys and Hot Male is Vietnamese owned.

Right now there are about 15 Vietnamese guys working. Most are at FreshBoys. A couple at New Twilight and a couple at Jupiter. I think you’ll find their English is greatly improved over the last few years. I know most of the Vietnamese in Patpong and fortunately don’t have the issues Z909 has. As with all working guys there are those that will and those that won’t. Let’s just say that right now the off rate for Vietnamese is very good, To the point they have all been offed on the same night at FreshBoys several times the last couple of months. There are enjoyable evenings to be had.

I’ve been asking around about Screwboys for the last couple of weeks. Haven’t found anybody that has heard anything. I even asked a couple of Mamasans if they have heard from any of the Screwboy Mamasans. Nothing. It does just seem lost and forgotten for at least now.

As Vinapu has mentioned, it’s a glass half full right now. 1-1/2 hours boys are standing on stage in Jeans. But then for 1-1/2 hours at show time, you will see nothing but skimpy underwear and nudity. In conversations last couple of nights Clubs are expecting the long pants rule to go away next week. But then again nothing is certain till it happens.

Jupiter has singers before shows start and again after show ends. Places have had to close at Midnight so not much going on late. With new rule changes going into effect they will probably start staying open longer with singers.

Strong rumors, but still rumors, jeans may be off by next weekend.

I told you to make reservations. 😃

No. Patpong 1 is still quite dark , but a few shops have started reopening very recently. still no Patpong night market.
-
Just curious as to what wearing whities on stage has to do with guys being offed. I admit I’m in Bangkok, but the off rate for last few weeks has been very good.

Our favorite 5 Star dining establishment has added capacity today. Few more tables and much less social distancing between tables. Anticipating the arrival of a certain daily diner and his friends.

I’m going to disagree with you about to Average drink prices in Patpong being 450-500. I’m there several nights a week and have only run into 400 at Moonlight for first drink 350 after that. Otherwise I find 350 as average price. Weekend crowds have been quite good and weeknights starting to show a little life.

No LuckyBoys. Rumors maybe August . I believe Oz is talking FreshBoys.
-
FreshBoys was full Friday and Saturday. It’s the Sunday thru Thursday they need more customers. Though there were signs of more people walking around Patpong last night (Sunday). Each week it does seem to be picking up a bit. Good signs.

Thailand ranked one of 10 safest travel destinations
paulsf replied to reader's topic in The Beer Bar
I live in So.Florida. It takes me about 30 hours from my condo in Florida to my condo in Bangkok. I use the Japan Airlines flights mostly thru Boston, but sometimes Dfw. Jal business fares go up and down all the time,so don’t panic if it goes away while your planning. It will come back. I’m in Bangkok now and got Bos Bkk Business fare for less than $3000.
