It may not be weird to wonder about it, but the personal finances of any member of this forum is absolutely none of your business, unless it is offered to you.

People talk about having to buy Boy drink, buy Mamasan drink, pay many tips every time somebody looks at you. Has anybody ever been kick out of a bar because they don't buy somebody a drink?

Your not going to find slim, skinny boys at DreamBoys. It's not what they offer.

My understanding is at the outdoor bars, boys get an average of 20 baht per drink and indoors an average of 50 baht per drink.

What Boy Togo did you go to ? All that I go to, boys earn money from drinks. I have seen a couple of reports that some Mamasans request a fee, but I know none of my working friends have had to do this.

I go to DreamBoys and enjoy myself.

I'm doing Qatar from Miami-Doha-Bkk the end of Jan. My first trip on the ME3. It's 5 hours faster than going west thru Hong Kong, so thought I would give it a try.

Yes...5 on one street. Soi Twilight. Block long walking street. Bars, clubs and restaurants. Jupiter, Screwboys, Tawan...Across the street, all within 1, no more than 3 blocks. Very easy access to all. Most of the gay scene on Surawong and Silom are walkable.

Tawan will definitely have bigger guys and I think you will find ample supply of bigger boys at DreamBoys. I was at DreamBoys a couple of times last week and was surprised at the amount of definition showing up on the boys. Jupiter may have a bit of muscle. They have a bit of a reputation of bad customer service, but I've talked to a few guys that hired there recently and are having better results. They fill the bar everynight.

You will find muscular and toned at Tawan Bar, but yes, Asians aren't typically 6'. Most bars and clubs have a mix of boys. Some small twinks and some athletic builds. Asians are discovering the gym, but your not going to find in Thailand what you find in Brazil. But unless you have a really closed mind as to what you want (6'2") body builder type, you will find what you want and have a good time.

With the current govt, they want SIM cards registered, so yes, bring your passport.

I'm not sure about Portuguese, but it's great for Thai. My BF is Vietnamese and I can communicate with all his friends with it. Its a Chinese ap, so I have never looked up how many languages it covers.

I use WeChat. I like it because it translates your texts . Makes conversations easier.

Why do you have such a problem understanding that most of us don't care what others think or say when we go to Thailand. What is the answer that you actually want to hear?

I was at Fresh Boys on Tuesday also. I was probably one of the 3 customers you saw. I agree with you about the quality of boys. Highly recommend #6. He is a good friend of mine and I've offed him many times. Glad you enjoyed your time there.

This past weekend was a bit slow as it was Kings Birthday. But the high season crowds have been arriving. DreamBoys is full every night. Fresh Boys and X-Boys is full on weekends, and decent crowds on week days. They have still pulled back a bit on the Shows due to the King, but seems to get a little better each week. Great selection of boys everywhere. Best I've seen it in years. The selection of boys tonight at Prince was as good as I have ever seen. Don't know where all these boys are coming from, but I'm having a lot of fun.

Glad you enjoyed Fresh Boys. It's been my go to recently. Lots of hot boys and easy to avoid the Mamasan. Just deal with the waiters. Most of them are great.

Tonight (Sunday) and tomorrow are going to be quiet nights. Kings Birthday. I stopped by Hot Male tonight . Maybe 5 customers. They hired 5 Vietnamese starting last night, to break up their Thai only policy. X-Boys has someone for everybody. Show is to long at close to 2 hours. But some good boys. I went into Fresh Boys as show started and only 2 customers. Really quiet, but I did off and old friend. When we left, 1 customer. DreamBoys still has best selection of boys. Some real hotties. I didn't go in tonight, but talked to a friend that stopped by and he said was quiet there. It's a holiday weekend and Bangkok is quiet. Suspect things will be fine by Tuesday.

This visa still has the 90 day check in. If they offer 10 years why can't check in be yearly or more.?

There was a police presence on Soi Twilight last night. Some shows were toned down a bit. Though outdoor music was a little louder last night. Tonight (sat) Hot Male is going back to multi country boys. They have been Thai only for several months.

I had expected Soi Twilight to be fully back to normal when I arrived this week. But as Gerefan has just mention, it's not. Though I think it is close to normal. Outdoor music is toned down. This is good for conversation though. Indoor music is full Blast Shows are toned down. Less high energy dance numbers and haven't seen any fuck shows. Lady boys shows at DreamBoys has been toned done a bit. There is an Increase in boys on stage and customers. I think Hot Male and Banana Bar closing between 1 and 1:30 has surprised many customers. Wasn't long ago you could stay till 4am. I've been told the Soi is under a 100 day mourning period. Only 100 days will tell.

I feel like I was following you around. I was at Hot Male for awhile last night. Dropped by Dream Boys for most of the show. Stopped into Fresh Boys to say hi to friends. Ate at Maxis and closed out the night at Hot Male. For a Monday night there were a lot of people around. Hopefully the high season crowds are arriving.

I'm retired so no bosses. My parents passed on long ago. I have 2 sisters that know why I spend 6 months in Thailand. Again, everybody is different. If I was 30, maybe I would think differently, but pushing 70 what am I supposed to be afraid of if somebody knows I have sex in Thailand. Abidismaili I'm sorry everybody in your life wants to know what you do with your private time. . My friends and family are just happy to see me happy I still can travel and have some great trips. They don't question or judge me. I know of a few others that post that are very open to others. So even though you have problems, don't say we all do.
