I admit I was surprised I got my cash back. People that have posted stories of lost wallets seem to run about 50/50 in getting cash back or not.

I found the place I am in now thru Airbnb. I spend about 6 months a year in Bangkok and have worked out a deal with the owner. I've used this Condo for 3 years now.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to it. Just meeting some old friends from San Francisco that live there now. Also looking to temperatures. 15-20 degrees. A nice change.

Police returned tonight and looks like they are going to screw things up for a bit. Nobody seems to know what's going on. We were at Fresh Boys tonight. They were allowed to have 5 Vietnamese working. Cambodians were back. But they say tomorrow may be different. Massage shops were short boys. I know a Myanmar boy at Hot Male was told he can't work. There doesn't seem to be any consistency to what is going on. We will have to see what tomorrow brings.

Ggobkk someone will have to fill in for me this weekend. I'm off to Hong Kong on Saturday for 3 days.

And we had another visit by the police tonight. Only Thais allowed to work. All others sent home. Last week non Thais could work but in street clothes. Soi Twilight was pretty quiet tonight. Was told they would all be back tomorrow. We will see.

I talked to a few people tonight. They don't believe there will be any problem in either location.

You have an obsession with the boys controlling you. Why don't you grow up and take control of your life like most of us do. If I'm not happy with the way things are going with a boy, I tell him. They don't mind, their used to it. If you don't give him any direction he will do it his way. I've never wondered when a boy is going to turn me over. I just simply tell him I'm ready to turn . If your still face down after 40 minutes, I can only ask you why. Your not capable of telling the boy to turn? Your the paying customer. It's your fault your not getting what you want.

What does it say about your quetions that not one person agrees with you. Maybe a little therapy to figure why you think these are very important questions and nobody else does.

You ask all these questions because others don't ask. Did you ever think people don't ask these questions because none of them are issues any of us deal with.

I don't think you will ever get the answer you want to hear. It doesn't appear anybody here is concerned about being robbed or beaten up in the middle of the night. You think it can happen to you so you don't do it. There is nothing else to say.

As for picking up a stranger on the street. I'm sure there are many of us old enough to remember the good old 70's and 80's , before computers and Aps. Living in San Francisco I used to meet boys on street corners all the time. It's the way it used to be.

He never mentioned it was his birthday. As I'm in Bangkok also, I could have sent a bouquet of ladyboys for his special day.

The boy only controls if you let him. Sometimes if I am only doing a 60 minute I tell the boy I only want to lay on my back. I have a hard time laying in one position for a long time so when doing 90 minutes or more, I tell boy I need to turn over a couple of times. It's up to you to tell boy what you would like, otherwise he will do it the way he is comfortable with.

I'm not even 1% worried. I live my life in Bangkok the same as I live my life in the US. Sure I put my electronics and passports away. Same as I do in the US. I am in a condo and don't have a safe. I don't keep thousands of dollars or 20 credit cards in the condo. ATM has made life so much easier. I have had the same housekeeper for 3 years. Should I sit here and watch that she doesn't steal anything? If your hiring from the bars and gogo's your chances of safety are pretty good. They are easy to track down. If you hire someone off the street, then I'll give you the 1% worry. But I never do that. I think if you just live your life with a bit of common sense, you wouldn't have any worries. If you go looking for trouble it will find you. I glad your having a good time.

Hopefully this is the trolling side of you posting. If these thoughts keep you from enjoying yourself, I suggest you go home and lock the door and never come out again. Human interaction is not for you. And for what it's worth, I do the snoring and it ruins his sleep. But he likes the payoff so puts up with it.

Soi Twilight back to normal tonight. Police gone and boys back to regular gogo attire.

If you have a boy over for a drink and after awhile nothing is going on, many boys will say they need to go onstage for a rotation and then come back to sit with you. Again you may be a novice about this, but the boys know what they have to do to make money. Hopefully you give more than 100 for 3 hours. As Jason just mentioned, if boy is sitting long time with customer and nothing really going on, she will bring him to you if your really interest. Some of the more popular boys will run between 3 customers at a time. A few minutes here few minutes there. If your really interest in off, grab him.

You are so hung up on money you will never have a good time. There is no time limit. If boy sits and you buy drink for him, he can stay for as long as you want or are enjoying his company. If your over him, just say thanks and yes tip him. This is what these boys do for a living. They get called over and dismissed, as you say, many times over. It's not nearly as difficult as your trying to make it. Wether it's 2 minutes or 2 hours boys come and go. What do you mean by silent arrangement? You would be surprised to see how many of these boys speak even a little bit of English. At times communications can be a bit difficult, but Boys have found the more English they speak, the more money they make.

No it isn't me. I don't buy that many drinks. Usually only one for my boy. The big difference is I live here many months. I know half the boys because I am there every day. They all stop buy and say hi for a few minutes.i dont off many boys as I have one special boy. I have very good friendships with most of the Vietnamese boys. As to what they will or won't do, that's between you and the boy. Again I have a very different relationship with them as many are close friends.

What does expensive have to do with it? Money doesn't matter at all to those that have it. Boys don't mind at all sitting at your left or right,. They are getting drinks and Yes they are getting tipped well. They are having fun interacting with their friends. Their not sitting lonely by themselves till their time to go on stage comes. No it isnt me but that being said, I have been to FreshBoys every night for the week or so. I have seen these situations going on. I have my own group of about 5 or 6 boys that sit with me so I am very aware of what is going on. I have a boy that is very close to me so I don't do the group off thing. I'll just say it's been a good week for the boys. Abidismaili, your in town. Meet me at Fresh Boys tonight and I'll introduce you to some of the boys.

There have been a couple of high rollers in Fresh Boys this past week. What benefit? Maybe he finds it more exciting to sit around talking to a group of boys than sitting up in the corner all by himself. Both offed 5 boys. Fun night had by all. Most of the boys at Fresh Boys are very customer service oriented and fun to be with. I never understand when people tell others that they are wasting their money. Many have lots of money to spend and as been said before Holiday Millionairs. Customer has fun, boys have fun, boys make money, bar makes money, What's the down side? I wish it was me

Wasn't just Vietnamese boys, all non Thai boys in street clothes, including non Thai waiters.

I was only at x-boy and Fresh Boys. They were in street clothes. There were more boys back at massage palors, but still much less than normal. It was thought to be a one night thing, but now they are not sure. But it's business as normal. All boys working and shows happening, just a lot of street clothes in sight.
