  1. I have no idea why they scheduled this weekend. Memorial Day Weekend is also Urban Weekend in Miami Beach. Barely a hotel to be found and many street closures do to overcrowding for the weekend. Great for laying on the beach, but not for getting from point A to point B
  2. They didn't cancel till many participants started arriving in Miami and showed up at what was supposed to be registration headquarters. Nobody there, doors locked. Somebody finally called police and they finally found somebody who said, "Oh yes, we have cancelled, we have no money". Not a pretty sight.
  3. I understand. I know him personally very well and he is not a violent person and would never have resorted to the things that were said. Heat of the moment stuff said as the lies piled up. There was regret.
  4. Glad it's a guess because it's not true. Though in fairness you don't know the person and can only judge by what you read.
  5. Why would you ask that of samebb ?
  6. Samebb and the boy are very good friends. Not sexual and money friendship.
  7. Michaels post about Firehouse is about 4 years ago. I believe there has been an ownership change accounting for the mixed reviews. I had been a few times long time ago, but have heard not as good now.
  8. I off boys all the time, just for drinks or dinner or hanging out. It doesn't need to always be about sex. The cost is so small it's barely noticeable.

  10. Couple of weeks ago a friend and I stopped by a gogo. My friend wanted bottom. Mamasan said him and him and him and him, they are all bottoms. My friend then asked the boys if they bottom. Boys said no and no and no and no. Many Mamasans lie to get an off. Ask the boys .....
  11. Most of the Vietnamese are now back at work. Some went home after police so a few less than a month ago. The Vietnamese are considered second class citizens in Thailand. The working boys on Twilight get along ok, but Thais notice that the Vietnamese get offed at a high rate.
  12. There were so many hot young Asians in Bangkok this weekend. You had to get wet to see most of them, but it was worth every drop.
  13. I have almost the same view from my condo. It appears to from Amari Hotel or Red Planet Hotel.
  14. I'd argue they are the majority in Bangkok.
  15. Soi Twilight was also packed and extremely wet. Calmed down a bit from 8 to midnight as boys needed to work. Then midnight till 2am lots of water again.
  16. The water started flowing on Soi Twilight after midnight. Very minor, but looks like tomorrow will be wet.
  17. I spend most of my time in Bangkok . Learning Thai is much more difficult than the European Languages. My best friend here is Vietnamese. He speaks a little English, but we use translation Aps quite a bit. I've picked up a few basic Vietnamese words just by hanging out with his friends. I have a good American friend here that does speak Thai. As SolaceSoul mentioned above, when he speaks Thai to a boy, they light up with excitement and love to sit and talk.
  18. Appears the police sit down and strategize how they can mess with Soi Twilight each night. Tonight. No Vietnamese boys allowed on stage, but they can work as waiters. Thai boys on stage had their normal speedos on. All other non Thais had to wear street clothes. Last night they were told they could have 5 Vietnamese on stage. At the two massage palors, at least half the boys were in street clothes. Tomorrow's rules will be posted after 8pm tomorrow Soi started out very quiet tonight, but around 10pm a couple of very large Chinese tour groups showed up and headed for DreamBoys. Difference with these groups was that there were many young (20's & 30's) guys. Was told many Chinese tour groups arriving for Songren. But the Soi was quite busy for early in the week. There was also a police presence hassling the taxis. Both at Soi Twilight and Thaniya, they were trying to keep taxis moving and checking for a seat belt or two. They didn't seem to care meters not turned on.
  19. The flower pattern shirts started showing up on Soi Twilight last night.
  20. Yes the Marriott is no longer. It changed operators. The Courtyard is soon to become no longer Marriott as owner takes it back.
  21. This crackdown is clearly aimed at the Vietnamese boys. They seem to be the only ones in street clothes and have quotas as to how many can work at each bar. Tonight the quota was raised by a couple of boys.
  22. The police presents is still having a little affect. Appears the Vietnamese boys are felling the brunt. Only one or two allowed on stage. Wait staffs in street clothes. Many massage boys have been sitting out front at Bonny and Bangkok massage in street clothes. One instance I will never figure out. Friday night at aFresh Boys. 6 Vietnam waiters. They are allowed to wear their black shirt and pants, but not their tie. I'm sure some officer had a perfectly good reason they couldn't put that tie on. They couldn't wear their number either. You could point to boy, call him over, talk to him...but police say no number, how do you seal the deal. Most of these boys got offed, so you smart customers got around these police rules. Every night seems different . Let's see how tonight goes.
  23. One of my good friends here in Bangkok just got back from a week in Bali yesterday. He loves it and goes a couple of times a year. Of course it's an easy and cheap flight from Bangkok.
  24. I've been to 21 countries. Thailand has become my favorite but I spent many years going to the Greek Islands and really enjoyed that. Vietnam is coming up fast. I just got back from Hanoi and really enjoy North Vietnam.
  25. For me as much as I like Rio, this is the difference with Bangkok. Things in Bangkok don't get started till 9pm and wind down at 1am . Then you can go to clubs till 6am.
