  1. Oz, they’ll have to wait just a bit longer. I’ll be arriving in September.
  2. Brings tears to my eyes, as I do my 30 hour trip , door to door.
  3. And yet for me living in US , Thailand is a huge bargain.
  4. I’ll stand by my statement that there will be no shortage of boys in the gogo’s and massage shops. They love to party during Songkran also.
  5. I’ve been in Bangkok for many Songkran’s . I’ve always had a great time. I read many times all the boys go home. May be true for many Thai hoys , but there are so many non Thai working guys places usually still have a full working staff. I’m a city person so crowds and traffic don’t bother me, but I do have friends that don’t enjoy it and leave for a week. The crowds tend to be centered in certain areas, so easy to avoid if you want. Will you get wet? Probably. But it’s so hot you dry fast. Find a hot, wet , shirtless guy to take back to your hotel and help you shower. Can be fun. 🥵 I live in South Florida so heat is the same for me, home or in Bangkok. Not an issue. Again I have friends that don’t like the heat and avoid it. It all comes down to your personal tastes. It will be, Hot, crowded, and wet. There also will be a lot of hot working guys looking to make some baht for a week of partying.
  6. He is in Saphan Kwai working, not Silom area.
  7. And a lot of just don’t use Grinder.
  8. At FreshBoys you can interact with the boys outside. They don’t stay outside very long so you need to be quick to catch them.
  9. If you can’t get what you’re looking for at Kman or KK Massage you will have a hard time finding what you you’re looking for in Bangkok. As Reader said they advertise top or bottom. Bottom is probably going to lead to gay. Most of those boys are very good at their job. . Enough English spoken to get your point across. I’ve been using Kman for last year. Nothing lacking.
  10. Covid was and is a Con….could you explain that statement .?
  11. Fortunately when I was there in May I didn’t have the same problems as you gayinpattaya. We saw very little evidence of backpackers packing the Soi. Lots of crowds on weekends , little slower on weekdays. By September it was getting busier every night. And always lively.
  12. It appears the Night Market is open tonight.
  13. And if you had made this post first instead of telling me I’m wrong we wouldn’t be having this conversation. I mostly agree with your second post.
  14. And I just live down the street from Patpong and know what I see. (And hear) So absolutely true.
  15. They may technically close at 2, but if customers still there they will keep going till they leave or police come along and say time to go home.
  16. Why are you only reading stories from people that don’t get what they want. Go back and read many of the stories here in the forums of all the fun times that most of us have. Most of the boys speak enough English to get your point across. If you start your trip with negative thoughts that’s what will happen. Most of us get on the plane with happy thoughts of all the fun we’ll have. You will have a negative experience, just don’t dwell on it., just move on. Lots of boys waiting for your arrival and to show you a fun time.
  17. For what it’s worth, it’s Thursday morning and the sun is shining. ☀️ as I head to the pool.
  18. If your basing a trip to Thailand on the price of a drink, now is the time to go…. The US Dollar exchange rate is so good, everything will be much cheaper for you and you’ll feel like your drinking for free.
  19. It was open when I was at Hot Male last night. They closed just after midnight.
  20. No more LuckyBoys
  21. I’m flying Miami Bangkok tomorrow in Business. Fare is lower than I paid back in March. There are some good fares if you spend some time looking.
  22. Appears so. Opening next month .
  23. For Vinapu. Sign in door saying “We’re Shut” has been replaced with new sign saying “Opening August 8”
  24. I start out in Miami so I understand long east coast trips. Delta has been the worst. ANA and Japan Airlines have been having decent fares this summer and now showing signs of coming down for fall. My last two trips I booked Japan thru American code shares for really good fares. Fares change constantly. Most people have more important things to do than check airfares all day long, but if you do for several days you can come across some deals.
  25. September 15 is traditionally the date airlines use to start to drop fares for fall and winter from summer fares. I noticed a couple of good price drops this weekend for late September, October and November. They will come down a bit, but maybe not as much as we’re used to till fuel prices drop.
